Worse stay I’ve ever had ANYWHERE!! We read the hotels.com reviews which looked very good but think they were staying at a different hotel. Absolutely stunk of cat pee being cover up by a strong floral airfresher. The fan was absolutely filthy too The beds were uncomfortable. The room did look like it had had a lick of paint but you can’t polish a turd!! The bathroom however was filthy. We were down in the basement overlooking ladders and junk in the concrete garden. We had to put the kettle on the floor to plug it in which was very dangerous. The bed sheets had been washed but had play dough stains on them.
DON’T PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS GO ANYWHERE ELSE

It was convenient for a 1 night stay prior to getting on the Eurostar at 8 pm. It's a small room and bathroom but clean and comfortable bed for 1 night.

Very central, the stairs could prove to be a challenge if less able. Quiet and comfortable room.

Excellent location near the train stations and bus stops. Tiny rooms. Tiny bathroom. Tiny sink. But it was clean and location was most important for us. No elevator. Narrow stairways. No conditioner, only little packet of shampoo. One bar of soap. Kettle and water provided in room. Coffee provided in room and cookies and biscuits! No safe. Friendly check in service. Free WiFi. It met our needs and would return here.

Very close to Kings Cross station and St. Pancras International.
Fine for a night when working early the next day.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Reception is not 24 hours. Shutter was closed when I left at 6am, so left the keys behind a leadlet holder on the counter.
Shared bathroom was basic, but ckean.
Noisy street outside, but is in a busy area so expected.
Overall was fine for my requirements, reasonable price for a Friday night on Central London and very easy to check in.

Clean decent bed. No shower gel and very small room with no wardrobe but it was clean and had enough hangers to hang what we needed.
Perfect for a small break in London.

Room was very small but fit our needs.

Pleasant. Fairly no thrills but has every you need for a stay in London if not spending much time in the room

It was a lovely stay for what we needed

Hotel is in fantastic location only minutes walk from Kings Cross and the tube station so great for exploring London. Ideal for our one night stay and fair price. Hotel isn’t the Ritz but absolutely acceptable standard for what paid. Only slight negative was in part down to me - booked basic double room not appreciating there was an external shared bathroom with this room which wasn’t ideal given was with my 9 year old daughter. On realising this I asked reception if could pay extra for a room with an en suite to which I was quoted a £60 fee to do so. On shirking at this price a reduction to £40 was offered. My issue was that on checking the booking site after refusing this offer I could’ve booked an en-suite room for that night for around £65 cost! So the fee to upgrade room was more or less the same as booking the room fresh! As I say, my own fault for making wrong type of room booking initially but just felt a little bit of a cheek - more so given reduction offered - to change our room. Other than that a good stay and would stay again.

I was put in a ground floor room and could smell people smoking outside. The room was good and clean. I had a separate bathroom which was halfway up the stairs and was a bit difficult to get in and out of.

Didn't love that the cigarette smoke would waft through the room, and the air freshner was way too strong, had to plug it out. But very close to the train station!

Super convenient for St Pancras Station

Room good but lack of en-suite bathroom a problem, though I suppose it's to be expected at the price

A great place to stay if you are going to the Eurostar. So close to Kings Cross and St Pancras International. Easy for us to get the 8.01

This property is one of those you have to come back and think what made you pick it. Staff was very friendly and location was great but the property itself and the condition of it was terrible. The expedia description said this room is air-conditioned but there was no way there was ac installed anywhere. Luckily for us the weather was rather cold in May and there was no need for ac. The size of the bathroom was too small, it was a struggle to do anything in there. The shower had mold in some sections of the doors. The room was crowded with beds, nothing else could fit in. Very claustrophobic experience. There are other properties in the same location, they were 20-40 bucks more a night and at least from outside they looked like a proper hotel. I really hope this isn't London standard at this price range. Will not be coming back.

Staff rude did not act professional, bad service not friendly. On expidia advertised on website was private bathroom but after I paid and confirm by email then things had changed and did not have private bathroom on email, then I called Expedia about this took me over 1 hour to talked but still end up not have private bathroom and the expidea kept saying the website was said share bathroom. In the end they said they give me £25 voucher back to use within 24 hours! Which is mean I had to pay the new hotel and lost money from this hotel I had already paid. Really disappointed with Expedia
The room I have was behide the counter it looks like a staff room! And the place did not like hotel it looks like a flat. Never come to stay in this place again.

Awful room, extremely hot and a fan was provided which helped. On the top floor, no space for suitcase or anything either barely room to stand up even. You open the door and jump straight onto the bed.
Toilet was dark and looked grimey, did not want to use it even.

I tried reaching you yesterday when I checked into my hotel in London. I can not believe hotel.com lit thi hotel on their website. It's not a hotel, it's mostly an old apartment without any elevators and no A/C.
I tried to reach you yesterday to change to something else and the manager here said he will ot cancel and he said it's non-refundable. I had a horrible experience since it's a tiny room without any amenities. I had to sleep last night with the window open which was dangerous due to safety and I still did not get a good night's sleep. I want to get reimbursed for this horrible experience and the pictures you have posted on your website only show outside of the building from a different angle and nothing from insite is posted.

No so good, the rooms are very small compared to the rates

It’s a basic hotel - not for anyone wanting the lap of luxury, but it was clean, comfortable and very well located for anyone travelling from Kings Cross. For £80 a night it was reasonably priced.

Room looked like a basement had been partitioned. Walls were paper thin meaning we could hear the conversation next door into the small hours. The room had not been cleaned and the duvet was thinner than Kim Kardashian’s nighty. The heating didn’t work. I would have minded if it was cheap but £143 is a bit much for something so substandard. Travelodge up the road for £120 would have been a better option.

It was nice and close to where we needed

The room was so tiny for 4 adults. The central heating wasn't working and it was very cold. You could'nt close the bathroom window and it was freezing

We are both lawyers and we will certainly be calling the health inspection agency to attend to this hotel.
We were travelling internationally from Canada as a couple. We checked in Nov 1st after a long day of travel and stayed for half an hour before leaving. We booked this place because it was “cheaper” in the London area and because of the location. The pictures they have do not represent what the place actually looks like. It is really like a bad hostel. It was super dirty and tiny. We pulled wads of hair out of the rug. The walls were splattered with unknown substances. The furniture was in rough shape. We booked a new hotel for double the costs and when we respectfully told them were leaving they didn’t have much to say. We said we would pay for our first night but asked for a refund for the following two nights and they wouldn't entertain that. Just pay double the cost to stay anywhere but here.

Tiny little room but very convenient in London, so not unexpected. A little worn but clean and super nice staff@

You get what you paid for bearing in mind that London is an expensive city. The room was small, a bit grubby and run down, but location was great.
We read the reviews after booking and to be frank we were expecting much worse- yes there is nobody in the reception most of the time, and yes you will have to carry your own bags, but this is London- street noise was minimal and there were no loud drunks during our stay (but we werent there for the weekend). If you intend to visit the city and not spend any time in your room other than to sleep then this might be a good option- we had a family room for 4 including 2 teens and it was ok.
Ear plugs are recommended.

Here below are my real star
-5 for room this is not even a room
Just look at the photos
Our was at the 3rd floor
-5 servis , there is no lobby neither room servis , they have a not on the door you need to call so someone will open the door , in case you are traveling internationally you may need to activate your roaming !
Location is good but trust me you will suffer because the smelly stairs, rooms and bathrooms they are all disgusting
The furniture is old and damaged
The walls are stained
Its like you are going to a restroom in the middle of nowhere
Thirty and old and damaged
They need to renovate and share the new photos!
The photos are deceivingDis

Location is fabulous but room was way too small for two people and a big suitcase. The suitcase blocked the batrhoom door. OK for one person with small suitcase. Fixtures and fittings very tired. Need all ripping out and doing again.

First when we arrived nobody was in the reception, had to ring few time until someone came, just to notice the reception is in the building and you need to wait outside, in fact the reception was empty during our all our 4 days stay, if something happens like you fell off the stairs or you need help you must make a phone call. The hotel is very small in poor condition, stairs feels like falling apart, room is so tiny, the walls are dirty, the sheets were torn and my kids bed was uncomfortable as one of the springs was put. The bathroom is so so small and the walls have mold. Very disappointed with the overall feeling. Poor condition. We will surely not come back. Doesn’t worth the amount we way for sure.

Our room was the worst we stayed in our whole trip. It was tiny and was filthy. Walls were dirty. Bathroom carpets and walls all needed a desperate cleaning. No water bottles in room, except for a reusable glass one which there was no way we would attempt to drink from that given how the the condition of the room. Shower was gross and water would not drain so you had to stand in a pool of dirty drain water. The ironing board had a large stain on it.

Super noisy! I could literallybhear every sinhke oerson checking in, walking in, going up the stairs and even outside yhe hotel though the window .
Very very very disappointing hotel for the price to be honest .

The rooms were in a terrible state. False advertising. Colleagues could not stay in the property.

The place was rundown and old. Small rooms and the bathroom was barely large enough for us to fit. Couldn’t have been larger than a closet. Dirty walls, no elevator. Had to drag 50lbs of luggage up to third floor up a winding staircase. Limited amenities, old rusty kettle to make coffee in the room. Housekeeping never changed the sheets the whole week we were there and did the minimum cleaning and refreshing of the room. Last day of my stay, we had no electricity in the room. Couldn’t use any plugs or lights as nothing worked. Went to complain and ended up checking out still with no power. Paper thin walls. The night before we left, the couple next to us was having intercourse and it sounded like an x rated film. Summed up, very disappointing stay for the amount we payed. Would definitely not recommend. Don’t stay here. Find a better option especially if you’re staying longer that a day. The only good thing was it was close to the train station and there were some decent restaurants around. Otherwise it was a complete dump.

So disappointing not like pictures at all wouldnt call this a hotel... only good thing was location close to kings cross. I'm not sure how this property got top reviews, our room was to say the least not clean, toilet door that wouldn't shut correctly, stairs with loose carpets and sunken treads, shower that had mold and broken shower head, saving grace was the staff when we saw them( twice) appeared friendly, i couldn't in all truth recommend this hotel
2.0
No fuss overnight stay, beds comfortable, quite a lot of noise from rooms above until the early hours so didn’t get much sleep, decent location for getting into central London, would use again for 1 night but if staying any longer would look at other options.
