This is a great budget property in the heart of Seminyak Bali. Sure you could stay at the W for $600 but here a room is $30 and you will only use it to sleep. Great staff and lush grounds. So if your looking for a good value this is it.

Great location, friendly staff. It’s a little tired and WiFi no good in my room, but will stay here again due to location staff and price. The cafe is also fabulous outside of the hotel. Great food wine and WiFi.

Location was good, bit run down, shower was dreadful, would go hot and cold every 3 seconds which made it very hard to have a shower. Did not clean toilet for days. Pool bar was not operational which was advertised. And one of reasons i stayed. Will not stay again..

Taman Ayu was very nice, we stayed in the Super Deluxe Room which was the newer part. We also stayed one night in the Garden Deluxe Room and liked that more than the Super Deluxe room. The pool area is nice but could do with large size pool towels instead of the old room towels. Around the hotel there are plenty of eating places and massage places which are good and cheap. It was a little far to walk to Seminyak Square so a Rp 100,000 taxi ride was needed. The staff were friendly and always obliging. All in all our stay was okay.

Great cheap stay, quiet despite the location, but ask for a room at the back and take some earplugs anyway. Very clean, but just dated. Pool was lovely salt water and nice and quiet.Only complaint, mix up with pool bar bill. make sure you just sign the receipts and pay at the end. I paid cash for one round of drinks and the cash went missing and someone elses signature on the receipt. I left the hotel feeling a bit crap, as they chased down all the staff and the manager and still didnt believe me and tried to make me feel guilty by saying they will get to the bottom of it and sack the staff member.

We were there only 1 night but it was a very clean hotel. The room was not luxurious but it was comfortable. Can use a little updating. For the price the room was much better than expected.

It was nice, pool area was surprisingly nice. Place was a little old and there was still someone's underwear in the bathroom hanging up behind the door when I checked in which was a bit weird. Local area is fine, a lot if healthy food and near to the beach.

Nice and quiet hotel near the beach and plenty of restaurants. Pool area is great and rooms are clean. Hotel offers nothing sepcial but is definitely good value for your money!

Location was great, was near beach and restaurants. Family friendly hotel with access to pool. Value for money for a 3 star hotel. Room we stayed in was a bit old but still ok. Staff was always helpful & willing to accomodate to our needs & requests.

Great location and good pool. The room, especially the bathroom was really worn out. The toilet didn't flush properly, so waste sat there all day. the gym was so old, nothing like the pictures. No bike and the treadmill was broken down and if it did start it would breakdown. The air conditioner remote didn't work, so had to stand on the bed to turn it on or off. Curtains old and grey/dirty. I guess given the affordability of the hotel, it was OK. Just think the pictures were really misleading.

We had a wonderful stay at the Taman ayu! Even so good that we booked two more nights, all and all we stayed 6 nights! Really nice poolarea and the location is perfect, 10 min to the beach and restaurants just outside the hotel. Staff were also amazing! Could truly recommend this.

Love staying here. Got a great old Bali feel. Love the greenery and the spacious rooms. The location is just fantastic. I do the yoga nearby and the upmarket restaurants are all so close within walking distance.

Upon check in, the toilet was dirty with uncleaned pee on it. But they came and cleaned it. Tried to shower, but they shower wouldnt drain at all and started to flood the room. The next room also had a dirty toilet. The third try was Ok, but also dirty. It had a bedside table with jagged broken glass. As we had to move our luggage over, I just switched side tables too The room was adequate, though the bathroom door was the ugliest I have ever seen. The pool and grounds were nice. And the lock box for valuables at the front desk was useful. Though a safe in the room would be better. This hotel is too expensive for what you get. And it isnt very convenient. I cant reccomend this hotel.

The hotel is located close to some nice shops,cafes and restaurant and for the price it is good. Our room was at the front of the hotel and there is a local bar that plays music really late so we were kept awake by that. The room itself was really dark and abit tired and dated but it’s what you expect for the price.

Great value hotel, lovely pool area with a good amount of sun beds and good size pool with bar. Staff are amazing. Rooms are basic but clean, free basic toiletries, comfy beds, attached restaurant great value for that area!

Stayed for a quick week in May...our first stay in Seminyak....this holiday was about relaxing and eating at the lovely restaurants in the area without having to sit in a cab for an hour to get there !!!

First room was disgusting, mould, damp, and the sheets were threadbare. On saying we were not happy, taken immediately to a really nice room in another building. The terms de-luxe, and superior seem to mean nothing, I assume that if you accept the dirty room that's your choice. I was pre-warned by reading the other reviews, so hopefully this will help others. Other than that, the hotel was reasonable, good location for the bars/clubs etc, and close to the beach.
