Excellent location 16 foot+ ceilings spacious, 2 balconies great food. Rent motor bike cheaply 10$ a day I think. Highly recommended. No wifi except in restaurant area but internet via SIM card is cheap. Close to all. One of the first buildings built colonial style. Great staff. It’s the spot to stay

Old world charm,a shock on my arrival after staying in a large city hotel in Mumbai. After we settled in and could see the staff made every effort to ensure that our stay was as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The rooms were large but a bit spartan as far as luggage storage and bed side drawers but very clean and presentable. Its like staying in an family hotel of yesteryear.Good breakfasts and tasty Goan cuisine, ate there often and very good.

Cavala is the best place to stay in Goa, we have been staying here every year for the last 10 years. The property is well located, close to the beach, restaurants and also quite central to travel to other places. The highlight is the Friday night live band which plays the best retro and rock with super dancing and goes on till late. The pool area is super and it is like having your own private pool. The staff is excellent and warm. Kudos to the owner Mario, manager nilesh, Maria, Philippe and team

Nice hotel. One of the best if you want to stay near Baga. For the price there really should be wifi in the rooms. Makes planning for the day etc really difficult with no wifi in room, something that should be fairly standard at this higher price point. Breakfast simple but fresh. Pool is opposite the hotel, nice to use the pool for a quick break.

Cavala is one of the better resorts in the baga-calangute area. Old-style Goan homes which are well maintained. Spacious and clean rooms. Live music on most nights at the bar. Service at the restaurant is lackadaisical though. But overall a very warm & friendly stay!

We booked a standard ac room based on the photographs which did not resemble the cell we were given. We booked out after 1 night, we arrived late afternoon and had booked and paid for 3 nights. The room had nowhere to sit, mattress an inch thick, a door to a veranda on the street with no glass so that all the noise and fumes of the traffic flowed into the bathroom and then the room. The bar and restaurant were deserted and flypaper was on all tables due to an obvious problem(the only flys we experienced in Baga). The pool area is across the street and was clean but had 6 sunloungers and a closed bar. We booked out 2 days early and there was no concern or enquirer why paid guests should do so.Baga was fun and lively and great food and atmosphere on the beach, thank goodness. Don’t let this hotel spoil your time in Fabulous Goa.

It was an amazing experience, I went there with my wife for her birthday and she really loved the overall ambiance of the hotel is amazing. However, I felt that the breakfast menu could have been better. Maybe I am comparing it to other resorts or hotels, where you can get multiple servings or have multiple options to choose from(complimentary).

It was very good place to stay. We loved the feel and rooms in cavala. Only that they serve very less for breakfast to eat and they don't have water for free to drink.

Booked through Expedia, with difficulty because of heaven tourist season.Expedia was a good experience. The hotel is on two sites facing each other across a very busy n noisy road.He hotel provides a strange, funny buffet breakfast wherein an egg cannot be had with parantha, and, parantha said can not be eaten with puries, and a purie cannot be had with an egg, etc.
So beware.

Great hosts, clean rooms, hot water and good food and drink and of course the great music and dancing all make up the Cavala experience.
We had a fabulous time - Marios and the staff at Cavala were friendly and welcoming, and we found ourselves heading back there every evening to party. One of our friends brought in her birthday and we were given a really nice party! can't imagine staying anywhere else while on a trip with friends.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. lovely décor. Warm staff and great food and music. Friday night party was great fun. best part is that its close to the beach yet cut off from the hustle bustle of main baga area.
