Room next to a nightclub
Very noisy
I will never book this hotel

Generally very good and staff were lovely throughout our stay. Only issue was with the volume and close proximity of the evening entertainment to rooms, made it difficult to sleep especially before an early flight home.
2.0
The hotel was very average and some parts of the hotel were very dated and needs to redecorate it to look more appealing, the pictures of the hotel are very old and does not look like that in person, the food is very poor it’s the same menu every single day and for all 3 different meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. The selection in drinks was also very average nothing special. The hotel staff were friendly and the receptionist was also great however the poor menu and dated property was a big let down considering the price we paid was not worth it. There are much better hotels out there if they are going to charge around £200 per night

Double Room (Pool View) - 10/10. Clean. Great size. Modern decor. Smallish wardrobe though if staying for a week or longer.
Bathroom - 10/10. Clean. Great shower. Good towels.
Bed - 10/10. Very comfy.
WiFi - 9/10. Very good, but didn’t quite reach to the gym/some garden areas.
Pool - 9/10. Decent number of sunbeds, but usually all ‘reserved’ with towels.
Gym - 10/10. Good size and decent amount of varying equipment.
Food - 10/10. Great choice of good quality food. Varied for the 4 days we were here.
Drink - 9/10. Nice bottled beer & wine. Some of the cocktails were a bit hit and miss.
Staff - 10/10. ALL the staff from all aspects of the hotel were helpful, polite and professional.
Entertainment - 10/10. If you’re looking for an early night, then bring earplugs. The entertainment goes on until 11pm and the bars are open until midnight.
Hotel - 10/10. Perfect location. The hotel and its grounds are very secure and beautifully maintained. Everything about our 3 night stay was great and we’d definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here - i thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be a little bit away from the craziness of the main square, but within easy walking distance.
Facilities are great, but if you want a lounger around the pool you have to go down by 8am... otherwise you'll find a lounger on the gardens or maybe the 2nd pool (the relaxation pool)
Food was lovely and menu kept changing. It's the best all inclusive food i've had on holiday.
Staff here are great - my only gripe is that i asked a few questions via the 'contact my hotel' on hotels.com and received no responses.

Hotel location is very good.
Food choice and food quality was great. Every dinner was themed, so every day you can find some new meals.
The hotel, room and the area are well maintained.
Entertainment program is nice.
Highly recommend this hotel.
Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Medina Gardens. Beautiful area to relax and sunbathe, good clean pool, great varieties at the restaurant to eat / drink. It is also located really well, less than 10 min walk to the main square.
I would have given 5 stars but both myself and my mother felt the rooms really needed “updating”, also the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable.
We were also given a room with a pool view as requested but the noise made it super uncomfortable so we had to move rooms. It would be good for the hotel to make guests aware of the entertainment and where rooms are located to split guests up around the hotel if they will be joining the entertainment or prefer peace and quiet in the evening.
Other than those points we really enjoyed the stay!

Great place right in the centre of Marrakesh, the medina is only 5min walk. Hotel was lovely, relax pool was really nice. Food was amazing couldn’t fault it and plenty of choice. The staff make this place, they are brilliant and so friendly, shout out to Soukina in the main restaurant so attentive. Highly recommend

Wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon. Great dining options and plenty of other activities for us to do. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy Morocco and stay in the central part of the city!

It was a lovely place to stay, clean and gardens are well kept which makes a nice scenic place to sit out in the sun. The staff are all so lovely and friendly always greeting with a smile.

Very good location with maximum 10min walk to the main square and Koutubia Mosque. The place is clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helpful and a special mention to Chef Said the main chef and Fatima the waitress along with Ayoub the front staff. They take alot of pride in their hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay here. All staff speak Arabic, French and English.
They would benefit from getting some proper English tea. The main restaurant food is very good with a variety of dishes and fresh food. The Culinarium fine dining Restaurant was dissapointing. The meat was dry and not seasoned but the restaurant deco is very nice.
A very good hotel for adults and both young couples and older couples. I would recommend this Hotel.

The food in the hotel was delicious, there was a lot of choice and the service was also very good. Our bathroom in the room was a bit run down (shower head in the shower, rails were yellow, towel rail unstable). In addition, the light in the room started to flicker after a while. The hotel staff were generally friendly but our requests were often immediately denied. We asked something a few times and rarely received a response without asking again. We would have liked the staff to be more friendly and helpful. The loungers by the pool were also occupied with towels all day from 6 a.m. onwards, something that should be avoided. Unfortunately, the pool didn't smell very clean so we couldn't use it.

Checking in was a horrible experience , getting there after driving a couple of hours then they wouldn’t take our American id they wanted our passport instead which we didn’t have on us we don’t travel around carrying our passport just not a great experience overall

Well for a highly rated all inclusive resort it failed miserably, first of, no people working the front of the hotel, no one to help you with luggage, nothing, second of all they have a strict dress code for the restaurant and property but allow people to be naked by the pool (literally), then the hotel has very out dated decor, no air conditoning most of the place, and doesn't offer much at all, huge hotel and alot of rooms but offer two extremely small pools, weren't able to enjoy really anything in this place, i booked based of reviews and regretted the decision immediately....

We had a lovely time at the hotel- the staff were all so accommodating, kind and friendly. The food was delicious and there was an abundance of it.
Just a couple of reservations:
- our room was on the furat floor, road side, just by the entrance of the restaurant Safran. The noise from the staff was very loud up until gone midnight and when they smoke, it went into our room.
- the space around the pool is limited. We were fine as we stayed in the shady area, under the trees, but the sunbeds around the pool were so close to the edge, that when you actually swam to the edge, you were faced (literally) with the feet of the people on the sunloungers, which wasnt very pleasant!

Very nice hotel with all facilities. Food is good (international orientated, not only Marrocan). People are very nice and helpfull.

Lovely hotel, was very clean with spacious rooms. Lots of activities to participate in if you wanted to, but no pressure if you wanted to sit back and chill. Food was great and there was plenty of cocktail choices in each of the different bars which were all part of the all inclusive.

Excellent hotel with outstanding staff. Mohammed in the main bar and Mohammed in the main/fountain bar and Mustapher in the pool bar were all brilliant. They always made sure we had a drink and they couldn’t have done more for us. They were all very friendly and happy.Rachida kept our room extremely clean and lovely and was really walk and welcoming.
The whole hotel is clean and well maintained, the food and drinks offer is good. Very close to central Marrakesh.
I would highly recommend this hotel

A great time here, only 4 nights to allow us to chill before going home.
Special mention for Mustafa who worked in the pool bar. That guy just never seemed to stop working.

An outstanding holiday. Stayed 4th - 9th June. Staff are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious and varied. Visits were good value for money - balloon ride, souks tour, palaces tour, camel safari and on site hammam massage. Hotel was spotless with plenty of sun beds and varied activities and entertainment throughout the day and evening. A very enjoyable visit and highly recommended as place to stay when visiting Marrakesh

The hotel staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient, particularly in the bars and dining room. Food choices were varied and always fresh options and the a la carte was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a blend of poolside relaxation and easy access to the centre of Marrakech.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. It’s surprisingly close to the hustle and bustle, but very peaceful. The main pool has music/some activities like aqua fit. The smaller relaxation pool was much more to our taste.
There’s a gym and daily fitness activities.
The main restaurant was nice, but buffet style which got a bit repetitive after 6 days. There is one other restaurant, which was lovely, but had limited access. The spa was shut for a few days during our visit, which wasn’t communicated well and caused some frustration, as we had booked treatments.
We got a room upgrade on check in, with a swim up pool. The room was lovely, but unfortunately the pool itself was a bit dirty, compared to the main two.
Night time activities were ok, but a little loud if you didn’t want to stay up late (midnight ish).
Food is served at specific times and isn’t available around the clock. Snacks are limited and it’s the usual cheap local spirits in the drinks. Wine was nice. It stopped us over drinking/eating though! Hygiene is good - with hand sanitiser around the hotel. We did get upset stomachs though, but nothing major.
I guess overall the hotel would be comparable with a 4 star in some places such as the USA/big Asian cities (Bangkok), but we had a good time and would go back.
6.0
It's difficult to be objective about our stay as both my daughter and I were quite ill. We didn't get off to a great start on arrival as we had requested a twin bedded room - I had emailed the hotel twice to make this clear - and once we'd arrived in our room with a king-size bed, we pointed this out again and were told that there are no twin bedded rooms in the hotel. This really should be made clear on their website!
We noticed signs around the pool areas, saying that the reserving of sunbeds with towels was strictly forbidden only to find on our first morning that every bed was reserved with towels! It was a struggle each day to find a free sunbed somewhere in the hotel grounds. The food was plentiful but with very few veggie options and after we became so ill, we didn't eat in the restaurant again.
We found the near constant music around the pool and the nightly entertainment quite invasive to what was supposed to be a chilled and relaxing holiday. As nice as the hotel and the staff are - especially our lovely housekeeping lady Rashida, I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend staying here.

What can I say ? Absolutely fantastic hotel

There was nothing not to like about this property,it had everything you could have wanted and more. Food was great & excellent variety, always different every day. All areas very clean and gardens manicured. As for all the staff, they do so much for you,you don't lift a finger, and anything is no trouble at all. A definate return is on the cards for next year.
