Location was perfect. Room was clean the bed was nice.

It was a great night sleep. The bed was very comfortable. I love the small tub. It fit me perfectly.

I was told to checkout for they were booked, there was no car in the vicinity. The lady at the desk was ok, altough she could not provide me with the key to my door when i got there.
Also lost 20$ off my deposit for late charges, for being told to get out at the last minute. Not a pleasant experience, i then left Orillia. I don't see why i should of stayed there. I would not recommend.

Not fancy, but clean and comfortable

Service was quick easy, and friendly

Old school but smelled clean (you could smell the cleaners). We did find sand in our bed sheets so I'm not sure they were changed. We also had to ask for toilet paper as soon as we arrived. Good location, cheap, and they seemed freindly enough.

Im not overly picky, but this place is being held together by popsicle sticks. Weird powerbars for electricity, old school keys, buzzing in to the reception...its just off in a lot of ways.
Normally, Id say "you get what you pay for", but I paid too much to say that. If it was like $99 a night, Id understand

i like the fact there was a coffee maker in the room complete with good coffee

For one night its ok but not for a long stay

Well, you can get a room at the stuck up joint around the corner @ 250 a night or…. The room you’re gonna use for 12 hours and the closest location to everything. With privacy and quiet you need. In a motel.
Loved my stay.
Would poop there again. 😁

Overrated! Go to the next motel! The only thing they have is the location!

Reasonable value for the economy price. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.
Rooms are very compact but have all the basic amenities Don’t be put off by the exterior or the office area. The rooms are quite pleasant inside.
It’s all you need if you need a place to stay in Orillia, and it’s very affordable.

Small AC not effective however the location and price makes up for that and the aged finishes

Everything was great. Room was clean and quiet, staff was very accommodating

The room was clean, bed was very comfortable and location was convenient. It's not a palace but was good for one overnight. They also jacked the price by almost double because it was July 1st, which I though was a bit much, particularly as there were still vacancies. $165.00 (inclusive) was a lot to pay for motel room with a loud A/C and rather ugly surroundings.

Great location, close to a variety of businesses! Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable.

All you really need. Clean. Comfortable bed. Genuine customer service

The mattress is very comfy that you can sink into and not firm or hard making your body ache as this happened the night before staying elsewhere. I did not have a restless sleep the entire night. The room has a microwave, not a mini fridge, but a generous sized fridge.

No issues !

The room was ok I guess. Wasn't as clean as some of the other reviews mentioned. The bed and sheets were quite good and clean. Bathroom was only surface (barely) clean. We didn't expect much by way of the room and amenities ... Cleanliness is most important and I have to say it was ok but disappointing. Staff was very nice.

Ok for 1 night stay after a concert!

Property is clean. Room is clean. Bed is lumpy. We prefer firm beds but it is within walking distance of downtown which is great especially in the winter.

It was smelly and small heater

This is a little motel we were only there late to sleep and leave so didnt want to spend a fortune but the decor is very very dated. Lacked outlets so lots of power bars around. It is clean enough i guess the decor made it feel not super clesn. Gentlemen who checked me on was very friendly nothing wrong eitj the service. Again only there for about i hours so bery short stay.

Worn out motel

Motel room was great. It even had an air-conditioner in the bathroom window which kept the place cool. I’m not crazy about staying at motels, but I’d go back to this one. It was great that the hotel was close to the lake which had a boardwalk & great restaurants.

The room was clean and smelled good. Bed was comfortable. It's not the most up to date, but it was right near the water and beside a grocery store which is more important to me.

Basic motel in good location

It was noisy most of my stay. Loud and drunk people both nights. Some loud traffic.

Absolutely pathetic premises, I could have paid $10 more elsewhere and gotten a 100 times better accommodation, the mattress and bedding were absolutely uncomfortable and I kept on waking a multiple times due to this couldn't get a good night sleep and had a miserable day subsequently. I am disappointed that Expedia has such low standard properties to offer its clients.

The bed was super comfortable, the owner was amazing, and called me after my girlfriend left her coat in the room.

Roadside motel showing wear and tear. Staff is accommodating, but they can't make up for pretty the state of the hotel this way. Note that the only air conditioning is in the bathroom which means that the bathroom door has to be open on hot night making it a stinky night too.

The host and his wife were both very gracious, kind, and helpful.

Had a really nice stay at this motel. Very simple accomodation. Nothing fancy, but a very affordable, comfortable, quiet, clean place to stay while I was in town working. Fantastic value for the price. Felt safe as a woman staying alone.

Great location close to the lake, affordable, basic room but ok for my stay- bike path and bike store nearby!

This is a small, independent family-run motel.
It has the best location in the entire city of Orillia.
We have been returning to this motel for over fifteen years now.
Close to the lake and all amenities--you can't beat the price.
Unlike some of the other motels close to downtown, the Maples is surprisingly safe, thanks to the owner/manager upholding strict rules at check-in which thankfully helps to reduce any risk to families enjoying the premises.

Nice motel. Very clean and walking distance to downtown.
