So-so place to stay; they charge for plates and dinnerware; TV not so good—lost signal during a storm

First time staying at an Extended Stay. Pleasantly surprised and will stay at this location in the future. Very nice value when visiting the area.
3.4
I was dismayed that cooking utensils, pots and pans were not provided as a part of the cost.
3.4
Great room very clean and quiet
3.4
Water for shower’s luke warm at best. Very uncomfortable plastic furniture. Floors were warped everywhere. Was given basically the absolute bare minimum towels supplied. Not a pleasant stay in the slightest
3.4
An extended stay motel where everything is priced extra. Room service, extra charge. Good wifi, extra charge. Pots and pans to use in the mini kitchen, extra charge. Change of towels, extra charge. The room was very sparse, not clean, broken blinds on our first floor room (so folks walking by could see us on bed)

The hotel was wonderful loved it but I was really disappointed when I got a call being accused of stealing when I fact I took all the bedding and towels and put them in pillow cases and cleaned the room making it easy on housekeeping because I was a Hilton GM for. Over 20 years . Instead of checking they right away called telling me the police would be involved when I took nothing I could have left the room messy. I was so disappointed and couldn’t believe such accusations. I will never return or recommend this property.

There was a good amount of road noise from the highway and the hardwood floors transferred noise from the room above me.
It was a cheap stay and suited my needs.
3.4
The hotel was overbooked so we had no place to stay. Slept in our car in a strange location because although I received a voicemail, the hotel made no offer to help us find another hotel. Additionally, no voucher or credit and I was told that my credit card was charged. Not happy right now.

This is probably the nicest long term stay hotels I’ve stayed at. It was clean and quiet and the woman at the front desk was very friendly.

Everything was great needs better bed

Without actual pictures in Expedia, I went by description and some photos I saw through google. This place was stark, barebones and not a welcoming look or lobby. The location was down a large hill where garbage and discarded furniture set. Barbour’s room.
3.4
Helpful and kind staff. Plenty of space.
3.4
first put me in a room that somebody was already in, blue stuff all over the sheets, n people next door were blasting the tv all night and I could hear it.
3.4
No hot water had to pay to shower elsewhere what a bummer.
3.4
Staff was helpful
3.4
The furniture was uncomfortable and cheap.

The room was not cleaned. It was stuffy and smelly. Room had a kitchenette but in order to use it we had to rent pots for $40 and plates and silverware for an additional $20. A complete rip off. So disappointed. No one was available during check out in the morning so I spent 8 min on a lobby phone trying to figure out how I can check out and leave the keys. This is unacceptable.
3.4
would not supply new towels. had to purchase my own personal. I took trash to hall and maid service put it back in the room.

Pretty great for the price

Our stay at extended stay America was great. Rooms are nice and clean. The rooms are not as big as I expected them to be and the beds are small. All of the rooms only have full size beds and is a tight squeeze for 2 adults. The only other negative thing I was disappointed in was they did not provide any cookware or utensils for the quest to use to cook with

When I arrived there was no one at the "front desk" and there was a wait before anyone showed up. It was late and I was tired so that wasn't very pleasant. The room was spartan with no amenities, more like a dorm room than a hotel. When I checked in there was a dirty plastic cup on the kitchen sink. The handle on the freezer was broken. There was a badly patched hole in the bathroom sink. That was one of the least comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The kitchen was a nice idea but who travels with pots, pans, dishes, and silverware? The room I was in overlooked the kennel next door but the barking dogs were drowned out by noise from the adjacent freeway. The winding road to the hotel is so badly overgrown I thought Google Maps sent me to a vacant lot. The best I can say is the room was better than sleeping in my car at a rest stop. If that was representative of ESA I will definitely not stay there again and cannot recommend it to anyone who isn't desperate to get out of the rain.

My one big issue was that I booked a room for 2 nights. I had an event to go to the 2nd night that ran rather late. When I got back to my room at 1130PM my card did not work. However, there was no one at the desk. I had to actually call the hotel number to have someone come make me another card.
3.4
it's not the ritz - but it is a clean/safe place to stay - everyone was very friendly and helpful

Booked a two bed room and when i arrived they didnt have any even though I booked the room and paid for it in advance. I had to fit three people in a two person bed

Convenient to shopping, entertainment & highways. Poor service awaiting someone to check me in, even when using the lobby phone. Waited 20 minutes. Associate offered no apology, yet stated she was on the 4th floor. ???? There was a device plugged in and running on the desk. I thought it was an air purifier. I didn’t bother to ask, but unplugged it bcz of the noise. Later I noticed it said QT thunder OZONE machine. I then noticed stains on the walls & floors. For the price, I didn’t expect extravagance, but I always expect clean. Why was I put in a room w/ this contraption? Was there til the next morning, thoroughly disgusted. Lesson learned

As a solid travelled I am always hyper-aware of security and safety. Being above the first floor was a great start to the stay. Double lock doors, adjustable window blinds and electronic key entry beyond the lobby all helped me feel sure the stay would be secure. I also liked the floor plan, being that the bed was tucked between a half wall across from the doors. Staff was friendly and efficient and the hotel was clean and quiet

The stay was fine, but check-in was a bit crazy. There was a homeless guy in the lobby, which was fine, but he was the only one there. I arrived very late, so the desk was sectioned off. I went back to my car to call the general hotline and the hostess, who was very courteous, came back and sorted everything out, but it was bizarre. The room itself was clean and well-kept and this situation was definitely a-typical, but I was slightly concerned for the first 15 minutes or so.

Good place for overnight stay and inexpensive.

We checked in at the double secure door. The hotel had a strong smell of bleach to cover up all the pet urine. We went to the room & immediately shut the door & went back to the front desk & tlod them this room & facility is unacceptable. They would not give us back the 2 nights stay as they said they have a refund policy.

Got to hotel had to find staff to check in than got to room i had no towels or shower curtin than check out i was forced to leave my keys in my room since the front desk was closed i will never stay at a wood suites again bad experience beds uncomfortable and ac unit was broke front desk said open the window in the room that pissed me off

Booked through Expedia. Expedia told me nothing about no linen service and no kitchen equipment in the suite. Had to go to Walmart to buy kitchenware. WoodSprings had linen service for an extra fee and would rent you kitchenware for $50. Expedia should note that to their customers.

Our problems with this property started immediately on arrival. I had a group of 8 rooms and we arrived about 4pm. I was told that due to staffing shortages and a bunch of other issues (lots of checkouts and checkins), our rooms wouldn't be ready until 5:30pm. Was told the hotel manager would talk to me about the issue (in fact, I was told the hotel's GM would be in contact with me several times, and have never heard from them). Once we were finally in the building, the hotel itself had an odd smell - it did not smell clean, and my students reported their floors were sticky. There are no carpets anywhere in this hotel - it is linoleum throughout the hallways and the rooms.
The office closed at 8, so when we had several evening issues (wifi problems, lockout at 2 am) it took some time for the agent to come down to the office and take care of them. I'd never been in a hotel without a 24 hour desk before, and I won't again.
The wifi situation was very odd - once logged in on the free wifi on my phone, I was never able to upgrade - was told there was someone on site that could help, but the desk agent at the time told me he wasn't able to help. There was also a problem with our in-room phone, and the second one they brought. It was a good thing my students had cell phones for us to communicate.
The area the hotel is in is fine during the day, but seems to get really sketchy after dark - this could have been the folks staying at the time, or the area.
