The property is quint and centrally located. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The panoramic view from the balcony is beautiful and breathtaking.
Two items of mild concern, the flight of stairs that it takes to get to their rooms can be a bit debilitating, but well worth it. And make sure to alert the staff whenever the hot water runs out. Both aforementioned items would not deter us from returning to Mi Casita.

This “Hotel” has only 11 rooms. It used to be a house. The house does no have a swimming pool , does not have workout room, no restaurant. No telephones in the rooms. No elevator , and a lot of stairs to climb.
However, t is next to the Zocalo. People are very friendly, and it is very clean.

There were bedbugs and many places were bitten. I was so annoyed that I was too itch to come home.

For us old folks it was in a great location, very close to the Zocolo. The beds were comfortable, the personnel very friendly. Even the view was great!

We fell in love with Hotel Mi Casita from the moment we walked through the gate (ring the bell, and pull it towards you when you hear the buzz, and then push it forward to open). The hotel staff made us feel welcome from the get-go, everybody is warm and friendly. The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the hotel has great views all the way around. Special thanks to Adolfo, who was always waiting with our key in hand everytime we returned and was always greeting us with a smile. Five Stars and 2 Thumbs up.

I had an amazing experience with my family and also I included a last minute infant so staff was very generous to add to our room a microwave. Staff was extra helpful and very educated ! Defiantly a great experice maybe just a bit inconvenience with internet connection but overall was a nice getaway from the noisy Mexico City.

I made a reservation at this property by pure luck, as Taxco was completely full the weekend I needed accommodation. Michele and her staff are just FANTASTIC. They made our weekend. Their professionalism and genuine care made us enjoy our two day weekend to the fullest. In addition, this bed and breakfast is gorgeous and its location could not be better. If you see this hotel listed and available say YES and book it.

Mi Casita has lots of character and is located near the lively zocalo. English speaking hostess was most helpful. Room was very comfortable and even included many books of several languages. WiFi and TV were very good; we even found one station with English lang movies. Drawbacks: loud singing and music beneath hotel until 10 p.m., noisy traffic forced to climb hill beside hotel, car park located quarter mile down steep hill, continental breakfast was one croissant with coffee or tea only--no fruit or fruit juice. If these drawbacks dont bother you, this is a charming small, safe hotel.

Quaint hotel in need of updating, specially bathrooms.
Non stop traffic noise, blending in with loud music until very late.
Very poor breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mi Casita. The location is really close to the central plaza (although there is a walk up a slight path and stairs to climb from the taxi dropoff). The walk to the plaza is an adventure as you walk on cobblestone paths, continuously going up and down, in the midst of constant traffic, with few sidewalks to walk upon, but with cautious drivers who have learned to be wary of awed tourists. The location of rooms 1 and 2 tends to be noisy at night, ask for another if that might be a problem for you. The breakfast is continental but very basic. The hosts are warm and helpful, ready to assist as needed. A good choice.

Very quaint, clean and vintage Spanish-Mexican! Perfect location!

Charming hotel with view of the cathedral. Close to many of the key places to visit. Continental breakfast included.

The first room I was given smelled like mold, then I was given another room with so so bed sheets. Finally, I was moved to a nice room, on the upper floor. Try to avoid the lower floor. Great location and very friendly people!

I would stay there again!Located in Taxcos downtown, a couple of minutes (walking) away from Santa Prisca (Taxcos main church) and restaurants and shops.Hotel with one of the best views as well.

This is a lovely hotel, no question about it. We stayed here only one night, and I wish we would have stayed longer. The town is so darn interesting! Like almost all of the town, this hotel is located on a small cobble walkway that is NOT accessible by car. The entrance is through a locked gate. Lucy met us at the gate, and graciously welcomed us to our "casita" There are steps to the upper level. There is a large common room that is tastefully decorated which serves as the reception/breakfast room. Our room was on the second level, fronting on a walkway/balcony, overlooking the town. (there is a view of the cathedral, though somewhat obstructed by a building in between.) Our room was lovely, with nice furniture and a good bed. The bathroom is tasteful mexican tiles. Lucy and her staff were very pleasant and helpful, and made our stay very enjoyable. There is also a lite breakfast served. The one drawback, as mentioned below, is the taxis that run all hours. Because of the narrow streets, and the overlooking nature of our room, we got a lot of street noise.

This hotel is quite charming and has a very unique character. My room was quite large, with a fireplace and couch. It was also beautifully decorated. The location was oerfect - just a block from the zocalo and cathedral. The hosts were very gelpful and went out of their way to ensure my stay was pleasant.

I cant reccomend this hotel enough! It is worth going to Mexico just to go to taxco and this hotel! The staff are so helpful! Great value for money and in the best location! The bathrooms we decked out in amazing tiles and the balcony scream to be used and drunk apon! The town is quaint and relaxing! Great for souviner shopping! We had an amazing time. However we werent there long enough to go to the caves and national park - but this just means I will have to go back one day!
