Pros- Location, outstanding restaurant and amazing view. Very cleaned. CONS- Bed was too firm for us. Shower nozzle needed replacement. Very difficult to control the water temperature. Bedroom definitely needs air conditioning.Towels felt like sandpaper.

Well Taxco in its entirety is absolutely magical, provided you like to hike on steep cobblestone roads. The entire city, from Pueblo Lindo to the stores, people, scenery, bus ride from CDMX, was more than I hoped for & I absolutely can’t wait to go back with a bigger group in December. If you like adventure, you can’t pass up Taxco.

I love the property but I did not get the room I paid for till the third day the lady said they have the right to change I did not understand why She said I need it to call the property to get it I paid for balcony and city view for two day I only had a view no balcony She changed me on the third day to the right room

The property has a beautiful patio, but you can't really sit there because it's treated as a storage area. I'm not sure why. We received a breakfast coupon, but it was a toast with margarine and apple sauce. The hotel has an event room on the roof. The music on Saturday night was so loud from that room that we couldn't sleep. Thankfully, it started raining and that shut down the party. We're very greatful for the rain. The hotel has a potential, and it could be great, but it's just not very memorable.

The reservation said VIP treatment but we never felt it that way since they didn't even made up the room one time. Besides the page said you could pay in different installments, however they charged the full price after I choose months without interest.

Property is in a great location with wonderful views. Lots of charm. Downside restaurant was terrible. We were served cold food that obviously had been pre cooked. We returned our meal and did not eat at restaurant again for the remainder of our 4 night stay. Shower did not work. Water would just stop and go from cold to scalding. The hotel is charming they need to fix the food and the shower.

The staff was not overly helpful. When mentioning to them that I felt I deserved a credit for not having any water coming out of the faucet or shower, I received a blank stare. Literally, not a drop of water came out of the faucet!

Downtown Taxco will surprise you with its narrow hilly streets. The hotel is located in one of them, getting there to check in is a little challenging, They provide assistance with the luggage and parking, very friendly staff. The hotel is in good conditions, conveniently located close to downtown. My only observation is that they should send information about where to park at arrival it was a little stressful.
