Had a homeless crackhead yelling at me while I was walking to and from bathroom on a couple occasions. Showers and curtains were very dirty.

Unfortunately the smoke detector started beeping due to low battery and kept me awake. The proprietor acknowledged it but did not apologize or credit my stay.

This stay would have been fine for the quick trip to Sturgis. The air freshener in the cabin was a stiff cologne smell that did not dissipate in 2 days of windows being wide open.
The real issue was communication with the staff. I called the number that was on Hotels.com to let them know that our smoke detector had a low battery beeping starting at 530am. A different phone number with a different area code texted me back. It made no reference to the Campground just said they were busy and text and they would get back to me soon.
Sorry this sounded like spam number.
I finally remembered the little number on the poster in the cabin, so texted them at 1030am. They texted right back with sure. I asked if it could be done by 1 so we could get back and use the cabin.
we get back at 230 and it was still beeping. The staff seemed putoff that I was asking for something to be done now. Arguing what time texts were received not apologizing because their staff hadn't bothered to do anything yet.
Finally someone grabbed a battery and ladder and fixed it, took them 30 seconds but they also acted putout that they had to do something.
Had there been a little different attitude about this, would have given this 5 stars

I checked in and within minutes checked right out. Many dogs on the loose. No house keeping.Responsible to was their bedding at my expense.Dogs not allowed in cabins. Wasnt informed that I was getting a dry cabin or that showers were coin operated . At time of booking it showed a bathroom. 2 separate charges to my account with out refund.

This was a great location to be during Sturgis bike rally easy access to everything I need for my staying, nothing fancy just comfortable area and great people.

A nice campground in Sturgis, near the attractions in the area (Mt Rushmore, Deadwood etc).
Stayed in a tent and it was well kept, basic but enough for sleeping a night.
The bathroom and shower area could have been cleaner and better kept, but worked fine.
It’s right next to the highway, so expect hearing the traffic noise all night.

Great place to start for a quick 1 night stop. Would be nice if they provided towels in the cabins. Couldn’t shower because there were no towels.

Amazing little cabin. We came in late, but the staff left an envelope for us with a map of the site and a long arrow for us to find our cabin. It was so dark we really needed that! Thank you.

Excellent property. Clean, laundry facilities, everything worked. Staff was great. Facility was very clean, would definitely stay again. Only complaint was that the beds were not very comfortable, and could have used another blanket for the season. Would definitely stay again.

No kitchenette, no BBQ as advertised. There is a beer fridge and micowave with TV and AC. It is a quaint place to crash away from the noise of town. It is very clean. Washroom is a central place because it is a camp ground. I enjoyed my stay.

Outstanding facility, 10× better than staying at a hotel. The staff were so helpful and it was so comfortable and quit. I will definetly stay there again.

The stand alone room was nothing like the pictures. The floor was so out of level that my wife was having vertigo.
They would not return any of the payment (5 days) We were there less than an hour. Hotels.com contacted them and still no refund. After Hotels.com told us they would not refund we went back to the office to turn in the keys and they had already shut down a half hour early so they didn't have to deal with my wife. I would of happily but paid for the first night but no compensation at all shows what a dirt bag place this is.

My whole stay was ruined the first few minutes I arrive. After a long trip on the road, we arrived 15 minutes before they closed the office. Got keys and map of cabins, and we arrived at cabin. I rushed in to use ladies room and didnt even have chance to turn the light on. It was a long car ride, you've been there. Go out to help hubby and he took his turn.
He comes back and asked if I had 'accident', I said no. Only #1, he told me to come. Folks, there was feces all down the front of the toilet! I was disgusted to my core! Office was closed, hubby had to clean it! Im not lying. Also, I booked this because they advertised onsite club/bar. Nope. I guess thats only open on bike week. The cabin bed hurt my back each night. My advice, dont stay in cabins, bring your own camper. And dont expect a nice clean cabin.

I gave up to stay. Cabin is very small and bathroom was dirty, out of date and no bug control.

The bathroom had not been cleaned when we arrived. The toilet was dirty and the floor was dirty and had not been swept and cleaned. I asked the cleaning person if they could clean the bathroom while we were gone and the said they would. They said to leave our cabin unlocked and they would go in an clean it. We were gone all day and when we arrived back our cabin was unlocked and the cleaning person never came in and cleaned.

Very accommodating people. Nice cabin.

Checking in was smooth, with a vibrant woman offering a map and the most ideal places to eat in Sturgis and Deadwood (18 miles away.) The cabin was clean, simple, provided basics. Having a small fridge and an air conditioner, along with my own toilet and shower was a delight. The porch had 2 chairs for viewing. There was no chair in the cabin but it had a table. The cost (June) was far less than the cabins near Keystone. Although it wasn’t late July or August, the energy in town was fun and fairly active. I’d come again!

Didn't have the cabin I wanted, but charged me any way. They lied about not charging me 3x. Do not trust them. Stay away from these people.

The cabin was just enough. Bed was too firm, flat pillows & looked like the cabin was just slapped together. The ambiance was lacking. It’s Sturgis! Ppl expect a cabin feeling not shed.
5.0
This is a great little campground for traveling. I stayed two nights, easy access to Deadwood and the Black Hills.
Bed got 4 stars the rest was five. Community bathroom was clean.
6.0
It was a nice little cabin. Thought it was a little expensive for what it was. Bathrooms are a long way away from cabins. Shower house was very dirty.
