Antonio was amazing and the stay was wonderful.would stay there again

Beautiful place in a historic building. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was nice and comfortable.
4.5
The staff at this establishment are so helpful and friendly. I would return just for the staff and the fresh Orange juice!

We walked into a dark lobby with trash bins overflowing with several days worth of garbage. There were no signs or directions. Creepy. They converted one floor of a commercial/residential building into rooms. Our room had raised toilet room and raised shower stall. Window opened to overgrown trees -- probably buggy too. The whole place was creepy. Complete mismatch between the photos and what we discovered.
4.5
It’s a quirky place. High ceilings but small rooms with shower and toilet ‘in the room’ as it were. A good rate but we probably should have paid more for the bigger rooms. Service was excellent and friendly.
4.5
Antonio was amazing and very helpful with our airline issue and got us a room in the building next door since his place was booked and arranged for our driver to and from the airport.
4.5
Excellent location and property. Staff was very nice and helpful. And the fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast was fabulous
4.5
The staff, particularly António and Joao they were exceptional!
4.5
Absolutely gorgeous rooms. Staff is super helpful with recommendations (helped us adjust our travel plans around the train strikes and gave great restaurant recommendations). This location was perfect for us; far enough to enjoy nights away from the noise of downtown Lisbon but close enough for almost everything to be walkable (roughly 1 mile away from downtown).
4.5
Beautiful Historic Rooms with air conditioning. Great water pressure. Average continental breakfast and the rooms need some touch ups, loose towel rails, soap tray in shower broken, safe not big enough for an iPad. The staff are fantastic and the location is definitely the best. Book dinner at “lost in” on the terrace for the view.

Great place to spent your time at Lisbon
4.5
Amazing large rooms with huge ceilings! A great place with so much heritage attached to each room!
4.5
This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. Our room was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and modes of public transportation. The location was perfect. When we travel back to Lisbon we will absolutely be staying here again.

The advertising for this hotel is very deceiving. The only positive is that it’s a place to sleep and shower and it’s pretty centrally located. Other than that, I don’t see many positives. The room was just a room with a shower and bed. When we requested a larger room, they were fully booked. We asked for extra pillows as the pillows are very flat and we were told they had no more extra pillows. The shower- every time you open or close the door it had an unruly screeching sound that literally made friends and family on FaceTime jump and ask what that sound was. Our used cups were never replaced the next day. The towels were small. And we never had a chance to have breakfast because it doesn’t begin until 8am and most days we were out before, but to be honest I don’t think we missed much, as we were allowed to keep our drinks in the kitchen fridge (there is no mini fridge in the rooms) and the food did not seem like anything I’d want to have. Overall, it was a place to rest our heads but that’s about it.

I thought the history of the building. My room was fabulous. It was in a great location.

I had an amzing stay at this charming hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, the location was wonderful and the room beautiful. I had a small room for one which was perfect for me. The view out to the trees made it really calming and it was nice to wake up to birds singing every morning.
Will surely be back😊

Very nice place. Convenient to many areas
4.5
This property is a bit deceptive as it’s just a nice room nothing else… simple and honest bkfast, fruit juice, melon, tea and coffee, no hot food.
The room is spacious but a bit noisy when others guests arrive late at night, or the staff comes to prepare bkfast. The shutters don’t keep the room dark enough for a good night sleep. A bit pricey for very little offered.
The internet connection is very bad, had to use roaming during my whole 3 nights stay in order to work.
4.5
Quiet comfortable rooms with great location

It was great. Very convenient location. Old, but nicely refurbished. Breakfast was good. They did not have a coffee machine in room.

Anthony is very kind and helpful.

The host was very helpful in accomodating early checkin and baggage storage, a warm welcome and assistance with booking activities and restaurant tips. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was great. One of the best bnbs i’ve ever stayed at and great value for the price
4.5
Very unique design and easy access to various sites, restaurants and bars.
4.5
Location is the best about this place.
4.5
Perfect stay, the property is lovely, very old but has been tastefully modernised. My only negative point, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 was I wished somebody had warned us about the building work next door. This started around 8am and included what sounded like hammering on our bedroom wall. Fortunately, we are early risers!
4.5
The suite was beautiful with the french doors onto the balccony, the detailed ceiling, and the wood floors--lots of space. Check in was easy and conversation helped us find restaurant for dinner and shopping
4.5
Love the location. The building needs a lot of work. The room we were in reminded me of my college years extremely basic and small, both night tables very unstable and the lamps were cheap. We couldn’t watch TV due to the internet being so poor. The bed sheets were not changed in 9 days. The fun we had shopping , enjoying the food and the night life made the trip worthy. The picture shown In their website is not even near of what we got.

Friendly staff excellent service

Lovely property in a lovely location, 15min walk downhill to the main squares. Out of the way enough to be quiet, but close enough that only feet are required for transportation. Air conditioning works great as well!
4.5
Beautiful rooms in historic building!

Great location, enough activities around the place. Felt safe.
Came with a friend of mine and we loved it.

We have stayed in the past and will again in the future.
A special thanks to Antonio for his patience and extremely kind demeanor !!!

Very nice location. Room is a bit small. Basic amenity. We didn’t stay in the room for long so it was okay. Breakfast was small but ok. Nice location. Very central.

Amazing Hotel!!
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to help us.
Is on a very good location, close to restaurants and bars. No a well known street.

Wonderful staff and beautiful room

Very charming place! Simple breakfast, but with everything you need. Only thing that wasnt as expected was the comfort of the bed, didn’t sleep very well. Would bring my own pillow if I were to go again. I used my clothes as pillows..

I will contact Expedia because the room sold to me was not what we received.
