Basic amenities were not provided like something as simple as toothpaste. Could hear people in hallways even going in and out of their room. Room was in a corner but still not feel so private with the constant noise. Then checking out I realized I was charged twice. The front desk staff informed me it was by mistake and that I would be reimbursed yet it’s been over a day and I have yet to get my $500 back. I have to call which is inconvenient considering I brought this problem up at check out in person.

Hotel was very convenient to Seaport and bus lines for travel. Had many restaurant choices in close proximity. Staff was very helpful and restaurant on site was very good.
4.4
Great modern hotel close to Airport with free Shuttle Bus. 10/15 mins walk from the center of Boston city. Clean and modern rooms, would recommend.
4.4
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very convenient for catching a cruise. Lots of choices of restaurants close by.
4.4
Pros: Our room was decent. The beds were comfortable. The view of the city was good. Staff was very nice.
Con: The lights in the room were strange. Multiple lights on when you only need one.
The bathroom/toilet area needs to have a shelf also the walk in shower also had no shelf. Granted they provided the shampoo, conditioner & body wash but if you opt to use your own, there’s no where to put it except the floor.
The AC motor (not the fan)was loud! Very loud.
And the room temp was inconsistent.
The option for a grab&go breakfast was also weird. The food options were minimal. we had a purchased a breakfast each day & could use it throughout the day not only for breakfast. The staff were a bit confused on that tho. But anyway you had to order say a breakfast sandwich & then go the desk to “pay” which meant charge to the room, then they would deduct that amount from the final bill.
Then there was a daily credit to be used at the bar, or the breakfast station. It was all very confusing.
Their sister property across the street seemed a bit more casual.

It was nice

The stay was good - the room was clean, when we needed extra towels or other items, they came right away. There was a snack shop downstairs which was great when we needed some water or other drinks/snacks before going to the room. Our son loved the pool. Some cons - the room was very pricey - not sure if it was because it was a last-minute booking or because it was October when people travel to Salem.
There was a window in the shower in which anyone in the bed area can peer into. Definitely not private especially when you're with family lol. Another con was the credit system - you have to use your $25 credit at the snack shop, bar, or restaurant, or you get charged anyway. We could have done without the daily credit system. Otherwise, good for the 4 nights we stayed.
4.4
Very convenient and close to the airport.

I attended a conference across the street from here and really appreciated the convenience. The employees were really friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived, and - most won’t appreciate this unless they’re in a real hurry to get somewhere - the elevator system is so fast. Great, tidy room with everything I needed, and I found the bed quite comfy. What’s not to love?
4.4
Loved this hotel. It was walking distance to the water and right across from the cutest park. Food and drinks at the bar were very good!
4.4
Big price, not up to that standard. Somehow i was upgraded! If that's the upgrade, hate to see the regular room. Dirty sheets, dirty walls, only one set of towels. Small. Ceiling had screws exposed, unfinished. The faucet was the newest item in the room. $54 to park your car per night. Hotel just felt wrong, put together, or they ran out of money.
4.4
Great accommodations but lack of lighting in the bedroom area was hard to deal with.
4.4
The friendliness of the front desk was exceptional. The restaurant service was great
4.4
The area was a little "bare" only two hotels and lots of empty lots and storage areas. No views. Very new, modern with excellent staff. The pool was kind of grimy looking though. Kids swam in it but I wasn't impressed. White tiles were stained brown around the water line.
4.4
Great location, very friendly staff, good gym and spacious, clean, well maintained rooms. Although my dog ended up being cared for by someone else, I like that the property is dog friendly and wouldn't have been an issue.
4.4
Simple, easy valet, easy/calm location, walked to food though nothing very appealing that was super close, comfy bed, view wasn’t of water… just buildings and sky and when I asked they said that’s what view means. Free outdoor area across street for families or friends with giant law games, pickleball, and food/bar tent. Too hot out for us but looked fun.
4.4
The room and hotel was great. However, front desk or a note in the room should tell you about the not-so-obviois storage space where the iron and ironing board are kept. And although our shower was AMAZING, water leaked through the bottom of the door and made a big mess.
4.4
Very clean, comfortable bed, great pillows, and the water pressure is 15/10

Good place to stay was really nice and friendly workers!
4.4
Nice, quiet location with a large free park opposite. Rooms are light and airy. Marketplace-style breakfast but a good range of options once you get used to how it works 😀. Free coffee all day. Great bar area with comfy couches, and a small outside patio.
Easy 10 minute walk to the Seaport District Ferries and restaurants, and 30 minutes walk to Boston Harbour.
4.4
No refrigerator, makes for a terrible stay, having no toothpaste or lotion available in the room made for an inconvenient stay. Not having better food options made it not worth the price.
4.4
The Aloft provided a great place to stay while visiting Boston!
4.4
The property, the staff, the room was very comfortable. Didn’t like the parking situation. Had to park 2 blocks away on the street, thankfully no one did any damage to our car and we did not have to pay for the parking meter. It’s just we pay a lot of money for the room, it would of been nice to have a parking lot to park in.
4.4
Able to access areas of interest without being in the noise and craziness of the city.
4.4
Close to the airport, clean and tidy. Staff were helpful.
Only issue was AC noisy.
4.4
Nicole, David and all the others were great front end personnel.
4.4
2 Queen suite isn't well optimized for the small sq footage. Bathroom has one high shelf, no side shelves, stands or hooks. Plus the shower door swings it and impedes on what little room there is. Also the bathroom vent didn't work.
The AC unit also took up a good bit of space under the window. And for the size of the room a staired bunk setup could have opened up the floor for a small couch instead of the hard bench. Especially since the ceiling is high enough.
Overall it's OK and somewhat affordable relative too the area.
4.4
Outstanding property. Great price for the location. Lobby was very nice for getting some early morning work done before exploring.

A lovely stay in Boston

Hotel was very good. My family loved the free pickleball courts and equipment including ping pong corn hole and giant chess and checker games
4.4
It has everything you need, comfortable bed, small fridge, ironing board etc... However in the shower, the floor is slippery an you have nothing to hold on. A bath mat inside the shower would be nice. Very good location when you go on cruises. Fast food restaurants walking distance. Arrived early from our flight, and was able to check in just before noon. Highly appreciated.
4.4
Stayed for the night before boarding for a cruise. We overlook the cruise terminal, so we saw our ship come in. Handy to restaurants etc also.
4.4
The lobby was very inviting
4.4
The shower space was a little small. Even moving the curtain even six more inches would have been more comfortable. The pillow were really hard. The other amenities were great. Loved the Drybar goods!

My experience at Aloft Boston Seaport District had its ups and downs. Upon arrival, I attempted to pay for my stay in cash ($1441), but the front desk lady was unfriendly and informed me they couldn't accept that much cash. This policy was not mentioned on the website, only at the front desk. Frustrated, we considered finding another place but decided to check back later.
When we returned, another front desk person, David, was on duty. He was extremely helpful and kind, assisting us in a way that ultimately led us to stay the entire week. David's excellent customer service made a big difference.
The room was clean, and the cleaning staff did a great job. We enjoyed free coffee and tea every morning, and the gym facilities were good. However, the swimming pool was very cold, turning my lips purple. David tried to help by suggesting the pool at another hotel, but it wasn't much warmer.
The hotel's location might seem a bit isolated, but it's just a 10-minute walk to the train. Across from the hotel is a family-friendly space where you can relax with a drink while kids play.
Overall, the stay was pleasant thanks to David and the excellent room and amenities, but the initial check-in experience and cold pool were notable downsides.

Modern architecture. Clean rooms, friendly staff, close to the seaport.
4.4
Clean, comfortable, extremely helpful staff. Limited dining options nearby. Bathroom did not have basic safety measures of grab bar in shower, shower mat or stripping on slippery floor of walk in shower.
4.4
Great hotel in very nice area in Seaport. Easy walk to the water and everything offered along the water, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Super clean feel to the Seaport area. The hotel was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice grab and go area to purchase food, drinks and other items 24/7. Two restaurants/bars, one inside hotel and one directly connected.
4.4
Hotel was beautiful. One small glitch was we were charged for valet parking when we parked ourselves. Called Aloft. They apologized for the error and refunded immediately.
4.4
This hotel was amazing!! The staff were really nice and helpful and plus we even got a room with a nice view of the Boston skyline after I told them it was our first time in Boston!! Totally recommend and would come back again! The only thing I would say is that transportation around the area is not the best but it’s really close to downtown area if taking silver line!
