This place was great. The desk clerk (owner?) was so through about the property and places to eat. Yes it’s old school but SUPER clean. Everything we needed. Not much around, but we were passing through. Had an ok breakfast room to send us on our way.

The shamrock country inn was a really good place for the $. Total with tax was $60 We booked in the morning for the nights stay I was skeptical about it as the price was really cheap but it was just fine and even though the breakfast was limited it was definitely enough to get us back on the road . Aaron was a terrific , helpful, friendly greeter . The beds were clean, and they had water bottles for you Great for the $

Great welcome. Room was clean, and bed slept well. It's on Route 66, so the colors are the 50's and 60's. Felt safe. Breakfast was good. Recommend.

Old motel, but was well-furnished. Had mini-fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable. Wall-unit air conditioner was pretty noisy (loud), but cooled well. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, waffle maker, drinks, cereal, etc. which we enjoyed. Bathroom fixtures were old, but otherwise fine. Would stay there again.

If you want Hilton modern, don't stay here. If you want the best Route 66 experience you can get, reserve the Shamrock Country Inn. It is authentic, clean, and just fun. The owners are amazing. The breakfast is very adequate, the air conditioner is cold and where else do you get matching green commode and bath tub? The owners have preserved all they could save from the period while giving guests all the modern conveniences like a safe, microwave, fridge, impressive ice machine, spotless room and individual attention all at an unbelievable price. Wish every town had one!!

Classic Route 66 motel. Exactly what we wanted and expected. Older motel but the parking lot was full! We felt very comfortable. Manager or owner called me ahead of time to see when we would be there so they could make sure the room was cooled. They gave us an oversized room for the three of us, which was super nice. Everyone was very nice. I would stay here again.

I felt I was on a road trip with my parents back in the 60's on route 66. Very nostalgic. Too bad the pool was gone.

Front desk was very nice. Room was good. Not luxurious by any stretch but clean, decently spacious, nice big desk/table, good lighting. wifi was spotty such that I ended up just tethering to my phone. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options but was hot and decent: eggs, waffle machine, two packets of oatmeal. Some small bread things. Overall a very satisfying stay ne you can’t beat the value for what you get. Would definitely recommend unless you really need strong wifi

Shamrock, Texas was a convenient midpoint on our family roadtrip and the Shamrock Country Inn had good reviews so we went with it. Great experience for our one night stay, no complaints. The room was clean, quiet, cool. Beds were comfortable. The refrigerator actually kept our food cool and refroze our cooler packs, which is saying a lot for a motel room refrigerator! Property is older but in good condition, well-maintained.

We decided to stay in one of the Route 66 heyday hotels and found this one. The price was great. The owner is very friendly and attentive as to whether we were satisfied with everything which were. It's older, but everything was clean and in working order. The breakfast was nice; waffle iron, toaster, juice, coffee, cereal, and a few other items available. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again should we be in the area again.
