Highly recommend! It’s a lovely house run by the family, very warm and nice host. they baked the cupcakes and banana bread for the guests. The room is clean, quiet and specious. I enjoyed the stay there very much even it was raining the entire time I was there

We loved our stay at Villa Verde. Owners are super personable, and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Breakfast was delicious and more than ample. We were stuffed. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This place was a gem - a taste of the local vibe, quiet, safe, clean - the host was perfectly accommodating and directed us in things to do in the area. Such a fair price and The breakfast was amazing (so much food and variety of everything) and cheap. Definitely choose to eat there! Very close to the park - a few minutes from each gate. Highly recommend!

Would give 10 stars if I could! I agree with all the previous reviews about the owners helpful knowledge of the park and the DELICIOUS breakfast. You really feel at home here and the owner and his wife will go out of their way to make your trip memorable. He hand drew us a map of where to find the best restaurants, TAKE HIS RECOMMENDATIONS!!

Very lovely place close to the restaurant and only a short ride to the lakes. Big, clean and modern room. Quiet. They also wash your clothes if needed. A lot of food at the breakfast, you don't need to go hungry to the lakes. Lovely people truly taking care of you!

Fabulous host, excellent accommodations, and a breakfast you will not believe. Our host gave us great advice as to how to enter and walk the park and it really did maximize our enjoyment of a truly amazing place. We have travelled widely but never seen anything like Plitvice. This guest house is a great place from which to start your adventure.

The owner was incredibly nice and gave us recommendations about what trails to do in the park. The room was very spacious and clean with a really nice shower!The location was only a couple of minutes from the park and was super convenient! We had breakfast at the inn and it was delicious! I would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay here!

Amazing stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom/shower was large. We opted for the breakfast and it was a large spread. The host was very kind and made me Nutella crepes. The host also talked to us about the NP (he used to work in the Plitvice NP) and told us which route to take. The property is close to dining (we really liked Bistro Vucnica) and near Entrance 2 (maybe 2 minute drive). I highly recommend this place if your are visiting Plitvice NP.

The owner of Villa Verde was probably the nicest host we have ever had!! He gave us all the secrets to visiting the Plitvicka Lakes National Park and made a reservation at a great local family restaurant. The beds were comfy and the room had a great shower (much needed after a day at the park).

The property looks newly-renovated to a high standard. The room is large and very clean. The bed is comfy, and the surrounding nature means you'll pleasantly wake-up to the sounds of chirping birds. Wonderful! There is an outdoor patio to enjoy with a beer or other refreshment. The breakfast is a feast, so don't miss it. The best scrambled eggs I've ever had! The owner is very nice and speaks very good English. He was so kind to drive me to the Park when I checked out and gave me great great information on cstching the bus to Split. It saved me from an unnecessary taxi ride between Entrances to catch my bus. It's perfectly located between Entrance 1 and 2 of the Plitvice Lakes National Park.

This property is close to the National Park. The room was large and clean, the proprietor was friendly, the parking was easy. Potential guests should know that this is in a rural area so there aren't many shopping/dining options around. The proprietor recommended a restaurant just down the street and we had a fabulous dinner there. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious the next morning.

It was really nice to stay here! Our room was cozy and comfortable amidst the nature of Plitvice. The breakfast was great while the host is very friendly and kind. If you are planning to stay here before visiting Plitvice Lakes, we suggest purchasing 8:00 entrance tickets to the park. This will allow you to have breakfast at the guest house first.

It's our second visit to Villa Verde. We stayed 3 years ago before Covid-19, and came back to visit again. Lovely couple make guests feel very welcome. Rooms are well kept. Everything is very comfortable.
