Disappointed. Picture online was misleading. It was very noisy with the highway. Terrible that they can charge the rate. No Air conditioning, there was a fan.

It’s a nice place to stay for a short visit. The room was very clean. The beds were to firm for my liking. Parking was convenient. The girl at the desk was very friendly. There is no A/C so it was pretty warm in the room. They did have a fan in the room but it wasn’t enough to cool us down. All together it was ok.

À la réception, nous avons été bien servi. La chambre était bien. En été sans la climatisation, ce n’est pas vraiment idéal. Situé sur la route 132 vous imaginez que c’est très bruyant parce que pour avoir de l’air, il fallait ouvrir la fenêtre. Aucun service à notre chambre pour la seconde journée. Je comprends que en temps de COVID , le personnel est restreint. Pour ce que le Portage offrait le prix de la chambre est au-delà de que ça vaut.Nous y retournerons jamais,André Blouin

I booked 2 rooms in this hotel through expedia and got the confirmation. When i went to the hotel they said i booked only one even after i showed the booking and asked me to checkin in another hotel which is way expensive and a bad hotel. With kids and its almost 9 pm didnt have a choice to find another hotel at the time. I will never book a room in this hotel again. Cheaters!!!!!!!!

We had a problem at our arrival. We had chose this place because they offer a fridge in the room. When we saw that it wasn’t working we ask for an other room or fridge. We only have it one the day after.

We were by the highway so all we heard all night were the trucks and cars zooming past all night. In the morning, someone came in our room without waiting for an answer to their knock. It was 8 am. No breakfast included so for the price, I wouldn’t recommend, especially if you are with children like I was.

Good value for the money and close to the ferry, shopping and restaurants. Great restaurant from a previous trip however was closed early this time. Front desk was also closed and appeared no staff at the hotel overnight. In the morning we had to leave the keys in our room as they weren’t open when we left in the morning to catch the ferry. Maybe winter hours? Overall great place with fridge and microwave and parking out front of the room. Will stay there again when passing through.
