Hilton Club The District consists of three floors on top of Embassy Suites, and shares the same bar, restaurant and pool. Check in is on the 8th floor, which is accessible from the ground floor only by the hotel's three elevators that are in constant demand. Rooms are spacious with large comfy beds, USB charging sockets, loads of storage, powerful showers and handy toiletries. The kitchenette has a sink, mini fridge and microwave, but while there are loads of drawers, curiously there is no cutlery, crockery, washing up liquid or dish sponge, with only glasses provided. The breakfast buffet doesn't live up to the standard expected by UK guests, not least the utterly horrific Minute Maid orange juice that is nowhere near the standard expected from a Hilton, but the omlette bar is a welcome addition, although the same utensils are used to prepare both meat and veggie omlettes. Happy Hour treats all guests to two free beers, wines or cocktails of the day, and the staff are brilliantly efficient at dealing with the demand for this service. The hotel is close to both Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom metro stations, so is a handy base for exploring DC. The hotel attracts a mixture of guests, including people who are clearly in DC on business and young families. Decent soundproofing between rooms, combined with comfy beds, should ensure a good night's sleep.

Great stay- very comfortable suite for our family of three.

Room was very clean, spacious. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again when in the area

Great hotel. Beautiful property and everything was easy. Communication was handled thru text, which I really liked. Would definitely stay here again. Loved that there were two separate rooms, great for a family of four.

Very accommodating and friendly staff at all levels. Comfortable, quiet downtown accommodation. Breakfast was delicious.

Good hotel with good size room and friendly staff

The hotel is nice and in a great area for walking to things. Pros: The rooms are large and nice and housekeeping comes and keeps up with everything. My kids loved the atrium feel.
Cons: The hotel was extremely crowded with lines for breakfast being unmanageable and the swimming pool is about 10x too small for how many people stay in the hotel.

The service in general was very good. The only missing was dont have any latin shanel on the TV. Important for the tourist dont speak spanish. Thanks.

The style of the hotel is beautiful

Overall, nice looking property. Sofa bed was not bad but it took away living space from the room. No plates or utensils available in the room. Mini fridge does not have a freezer. Convenient grocery store (small) across the street and Walgreens nearby. Breakfast had enough options.Bottled water was not replenished by default. You need to request water bottles at the front desk. Check in is on the 8th floor.

Love my stay at the Hilton. Staff was nice and friendly, helpful in so many ways . I would stay here again and recommend family and friends to stay here

Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent! So many choices and the food was very good. Dislike—bathroom sink had hair in it and escutcheon spun around so I had trouble adjusting the temperature. Otherwise the room was very well appointed.

I booked this hotel last minute while passing through on our way to NYC.
We had a one-bedroom suite which was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and spacious with great amenities. Price of parking onsite is ridiculous but we arrived late at night and didn’t feel safe going blocks away. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was outstanding! I will definitely stay here next time in the area.

Best hotel I ever went!! Everything is what I expected

Very good tho breakfast could have been better . Rooms were very spacious and staff very helpful where ever needed

Really nice hotel, reasonable priced for the spacious and spotless suites with a separate living area. Two TV’s are huge, good wifi, and the suite comes with a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Location is superb. They also do not charge a ridiculous “report fee” like some other poor quality hotels in the area, so well done to the Hilton for that. Breakfast (included) was really great, superb omelettes made to order.
However, checking in could be easier, it’s on the 8th floor, and the guy at the ground floor reception barely made eye contact with me as he condescendingly expected me to know the difference between the two receptions. Constructive suggestion; you should provide some utensils with the kitchenette, and your housekeeping could be improved, the bed wasn’t made for three days, and the floor never cleaned. Minor irritations for an otherwise amazing stay.

This hotel is very good. It has a pool and jacuzzi. They serve free breakfast and have happy hour 5:30 - 7:00. The rooms are very nice and they did a good job managing to put most home appliances in one room. They also give free items in your room like hair ties, soap, and makeup wipes . Overall 5 stars.

Overall favorable stay with highly engaged staff committed to excellence in customer service.
Our family experienced an unfavorable experience during check in. We were reserved for a suite at the District. The District is located within the Embassy hotel and checkin for the District in not on the main level when you enter the hotel. We arrived to check in after normal business hours with no signage directing customers to the District. We were warmly welcomed by an Embassy front desk representative who advised they were expecting us as we were their last check in for the evening. However we were erroneously checked in as an Embassy guest by the hotel representative (new hire/trainee) as another family/under another family's name with a shorter duration of stay than we had booked & paid in advance of our hotel arrival.
Our hotel keys were also erroneously deactivated days prior to our departure date which drove an engagement with the Embassy leadership and led to our family missing the majority of an NBA game we already purchased tickets. Yet Sayed Jan (Embassy), Christa (District ) & Expedia through thoughtful oral and written collaboration with written documentation, developed corrective measures to refund me for the error as the suite we were staying in at the Embassy was cheaper than the District suite we had reserved. Jan and Christa also coordinated the refund strategy with Expedia. (Expedia was used to reserve and book several months prior to the stay.)
Thank You

We had a great time at Hilton Club, the District. Concierge was awesome and quick to bring us anything we needed. There's an great little grocery market right across the street where you can buy anything you might need as well. The breakfast was very good.

My husband and I loved our experience at this property. Beautiful spacious suites, great location for dining, stores, etc. The complimentary full breakfast every morning and nightly happy hours was definitely appreciated. The hotel is a beautiful well kept property with lots of spaces to lounge. If we vacation in DC again we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel! Super comfy beds and spacious suites. The breakfast buffet and made to order breakfast bowls/omelettes was really good! The complimentary happy hour was also a nice touch when we weren’t out exploring. Pool area a little small but our 8 year old loved it! Would recommend and stay again!

The Hilton is a great option when you come to DC either for business or for a family trip like we did. The location, the spacious rooms, the friendly staff, good breakfast, cleanliness, everything is well managed. And not that pricey at this period.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Room was spacious and clean. I like the hotel’s layout and staff was friendly. Drove there so had to pay for parking but kept my car at the Ritz Carlton which was cheaper ($35/day). Loved breakfast esp that there was a nice chef who made omelets. Would definitely return.
