I love this hotel - the beds are super comfy and although the room is very basic, and a tad small - it has almost everything a person needs for an overnight. It is an INCREDIBLE value - my biggest complaint is that the hotel bar is closed indefinitely - it is such a sweet space, and offered incredible craft cocktails prior to the pandemic. Still a special place and a really good tavern for dinner and drinks just up the street from Thurs - Sun. Anyways, you do need a car here. Super close to Nat'l Racing Hall of Fame and Saratoga Racetrack. Despite there being no one on site and the bar being closed, this place will always be special

This is an unmanned motel, and it’s not possible to call for support. Everything was closed when we arrived at 7pm including the bar and reception. Had trouble accessing our rooms and so had other guests, no one is picking up the phone, took us an hour to get access, not a good experience.

Renovation was cute, but the room was so small. Our stay was myself and my husband, we could not share restroom as it was too small for
2 people. There was not enough space for 2 suitcases in the room and still walk around the space.

This property has potential and is cute but our check in process was not good (wrong code sent to us and then had to track down a new code only to have the room not cleaned when we entered).
Very cute LITTLE room. Comfy sheets and good pillows. A/C unit is 18 inches from the bed and loud.
We came during a big race day and we were not aware. I’m sure it is quiet other times but there was a massive dance party across the street with hundreds of people that was laughable on how loud it was. But it did stop at 11. Enforced by the twenty or so police officers in the parking lot of the hotel.
I would have been fine with all of it at half the price. I expected more though for the price they charged for the room.

This is a nice, simple stay with some trendy accents. Our main complaint is that the air conditioner is a box, air conditioner stuck in the wall and our’s was really loud. Otherwise it’s convenient and budget friendly.

Brentwood felt off the beaten trail, but still very close to everything. We were attending a concert at SPAC, which was only a couple of minutes away. It would be a great place to stay if you're seeing the horse races, the track is just across the street. Check in was contactless, which I didn't realize until I'd already tried the doorbell at the front office (the email with the door code came in while I was driving from VT and I just didn't see it - not a criticism, just more FYI for future visitors). We were in room 12 which was on the end of the building and it was very quiet. The parking lot was full, so I assume we had a neighbor, but we didn't hear a single thing from them. Would consider staying here again if we visit Saratoga again.

Nice little motel, the only thing is that there is no lobby, everything must be done via text messages.

It was refreshing to have a room that was not just the same as every other motel room that we’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom room was very spacious and the shower was great with good hot water and awesome pressure. The Mexican restaurant around the corner was well priced and had delicious food. The online check-in was ok only as I didn’t receive an email with the check-in process until I rang them. Overall, I would stay again if in the area in the future

The room was great. It is clean and comfortable. It is very small and a king size bed leaves very little room for moving around.

This was a cute motel, the downside was there is a box air conditioner, stuck in the wall that would turn on and off throughout the night, which was loud. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and quieter than I thought.

We were not able to get ahold of a hotel representative in the 2 days prior to our stay in regards to an early check in. Then housekeeping was late cleaning rooms so we were not able to get into our rooms at promised check in time before our concert at SPAC. Room was nice, beds were comfy, shower was superb and location is excellent. We just found the customer service lacking.

Had a lovely stay! Very cute property central to lots of things in the area. Would deff stay again. Easy check in and check out. Thanks again!

It was different, but clean and compact. TV, spectrum, did not work. Brenda can out shortly after we called and tried to fix it. Brenda was very nice. Close to downtown.

No one was at the property

It’s a very pretty, quaint property. The location is perfect for anyone looking to have a true Saratoga experience. The race course is across the street, the horses walk right down the road in front of the rooms, and there’s a nice little restaurant across the street. The only downside we had was it was quite warm that day, and the room was a little warm. Even with the window open. But great room otherwise, and great shower. Neat place to stay.

Positive:
1. Clean
Negative:
1. There is no receptionist.
2. When I called the hotel phone number, I was transferred to a voicemail without an option to talk to a representative.
3. The check-in process is very stressful and inconvenient. I get an email with the room number and the lock combination to open the door. I have to scan my driver's license and email it to check in. When you are tired after a long drive, you want to go to bed as soon as possible. Instead, you have to search for the email with the instructions how to open the door.
4. The room is very expensive: I paid more than twice in comparison to a similar place where I stayed the night before.
5. The bathroom has black tiles and black walls. It is very dark.
6. The light switches are arranged such that you have to turn off the lights and walk to your bed in the dark when you go to sleep.
The main problem was the check-in process. I would not not stay there again. I don't recommend it.

Very charming and quiet hotel. Different style from your boring typical hotel room. Check in from your phone is a breeze. Overall great experience and a great location. Highly recommend this place if you’re just a single or couple looking for a change of scenery.

They need to have complimentary coffee in the morning, they had it available but you had to pay if you opened the box of 6 servings ($12!). Coffee is essential in the morning, make it free!!

While everything was overall nice, except that the only point of contact was a text message about the access of the room. It was not a problem but a second way of contact, email or knowing ahead of time to expect a key code entrance would have been nice. However, the second detail, dog paw prints on the bedcover and a dirty sheet was not cool and so we shared the clean bed which was not as restful.

Very poor conditions at the room. No service, no lounge or bar.

Needed a quick overnight stay in the area. The room was clean and quiet although there weren't many other guests staying here or tourists in general. Easy, remote communication and access by key code. The room was stylish and cozy (read: small) but all amenities were available. The Farrier bar was not open weekdays off season. Comfy bed. One con: the air conditioner was only 2 feet from my face so I turned it off as we didn't need it. Otherwise, it's a cute little motel with character and right across the street from the track.

Beautiful quiet and quaint location on the backside of Saratoga Springs race track. Could see the horses being trained in the morning from across the street.
Very relaxing!

The photos of this “hotel” are really deceiving.. there is no lobby. It is like an upscale Howard Johnson’s type of hotel w rooms all in a row and parking out front. I guess the location is the best thing as it is literally next to the racetrack. I had a pet w me which they were great about putting out bowls for. It is just a nicely done room. AC window unit. There was hair in the shower that was missed by the maid. Just fine if you need a place to land. Beds were nice and bedding was nice but if you are looking for any sort of standard “hotel”. This is not it.

I rarely write reviews but I feel like I need to write one for this hotel because I still can’t believe I paid $400 to spend a night here.
The good:
Easy to walk to town
Very easy check in/check out
Questions answered quickly via text
Very comfortable beds
The bad:
We could hear everything from the connecting rooms and outside. It was almost like we were camping. The noise at 2am was particularly frustrating.
There were flies. Like lots of flies that we could not kill but that kept buzzing in our ears.
The outlets were high up on the walls which made it hard to charge our devices with.
The room was freezing when we arrived. When I reached out I was told that there was a hidden plug in space heater we could use.
The bathroom was tiny and had no place to put toiletries.
Overall, I would have been fine if not for the $400 a night price tag.

Stayed one night off season at The Brentwood. Truly was a lovely experience. Also was writhin bike/ walking distance from my friends.
I enjoyed the location and even got to see the horses that were still in Saratoga, walk to the track in the morning with their trainers/ handlers.
There was a nice small bar on property, and an area outside to sit and have coffee wine food if you wanted. fire pit at night. Plus some charming lights all around the hotel.
For the season I believe this location couldn’t be better literally across street from the track.
I imagine the scene is quite different in summer with the crowds and hotel price might triple. But off season it was absolutely perfect- in clueing the price.
Room was perfect and charming.also very quiet.
I will definitely stay there again. And will recommend to friends.

It was as expected for and price and area. Grungie yet affordable.

This is a no frills venue. When you see it you’re not sure what to make of it but it is clean and pleasant. There is no interaction with staff as everything is done remotely which is slightly unique but not offensive. I recommend completing the registration process well ahead of arrival so you don’t have to wait for your room entry code.

Room was pretty clean aside from the 6 living flies in the room when we got there. I understand the property is close to the horse racing facility, but there are ways to prevent this. Nothing came with the room, no bottles of water coffee anything like all had to be paid for if you wanted it. Room was definitely smaller than anticipated but it was clean. Beds were comfy. It was quiet and peaceful.

Loved the friendly customer service, decor and location!
Hope to return next summer.

Beautifully designed motel! It was super easy to check in and out. Will be going again!

Lovely hotel, very clean and perfect location.

The advertisement online was very deceiving. This is not a hotel, it is a motel. It was separate from the rest of the bar and lounge facility. It was located across the street. It was also not stated that the bar/ lounge facility was closed on Mondays was one of the big reasons we wanted to stay there from the pictures online. A side note also is that anything you use coffee /drinks that are supplied in the room will be charged to you at extra charge. The rooms were very small. The rooms were very clean and okay for a one-night stay.

Been dying to stay here as we are avid track rats and we were lucky enough to score a last minute room. The place did not disappoint - walkable to a wonderful bar that served a terrific breakfast and we were able to see the horses walking right by our room and over to the back stretch to get ready for the day! The room was quit pleasant, shower amazing. I would say however that I would not stay here on a weekend as the bar next door has live bands at night. We will be back and make sure it's for more than one night!

Beautiful boutique. Nice staff. Close to track. Top rating!

The cutest place, clean and with more amenities in the room that I expected. Small bar with a wonderful bartender able to accommodate and chat with a family. My 9 year old had cream soda and canned sardines for the first time and was in love with this place. So close to everything Saratoga has to offer.

Great location — near racetrack & good Italian restaurant. Quaint, small establishment with cozy small bar with super bartender(Abel) !

Beautiful room, the bed was super comfortable, the bedding was quality, shower head was excellent. We stayed during the off season and it was quiet. Check in and out we’re simple and text responses from hotel were prompt and helpful. Would definitely to stay again.
5.0
Beautiful place! Very comfortable and hotel staff were available and answered any questions we may have had right away. We were a little bummed the bar on site was closed for repair, but we found some local places downtown. Everything was great, we did find it warm in the room and hard to cool down since temperatures are regulated by staff. But had a great stay would def come again for sure!!!
