I stayed many times…. On purpose I reserved the most expensive two bedroom apartment and I got a cheap low floor no view apartment Terrible experience for the money.

This is probably the most beautiful hotel I ever stayed in. The building and its architecture are unrivaled. From the beautiful outside to the minor details on the inside. The lobby is absolutely fabulous, and also the gym is well-equipped, including free cold bottles of water. We had a room in the Residence Tower, and it was comfortable and clean. We had a decent view from the room. So far so good, but this hotel has issues. I did not experience any 5-star experience when it comes to hospitality. Maybe it is because of the regular audience that visits the hotel. The staff is very professional, but that's it: professional - not welcoming. At check-in there were no smiles and the additional details like a certain rebate were not mentioned. In the restaurant where we went for breakfast: same thing. Professional, but not friendly. Hospitality is a thing here. Also, you would expect a 5-star hotel to cater to an international audience, but the power plugins are all Arabic and you need an adapter (supplied at request) to power your electronics (if you are from Europe or the USA). In modern hotels nowadays you will find USB plugs but not in this hotel, despite the 5 stars. We had decent breakfasts every morning, but definitely 5-star level. I had better breakfasts in Spain in 3-star hotels. Anyway, let's end positive. The guy at the towel station named Yusun was super friendly and welcoming, making me feel special as a guest. He proves that it possible, an example for the rest.

Terrible. I specifically requested a non-smoking room and was placed in a room stinking of smoke (Room 1958 to be specific)! If this tiny request cannot be honored for a guest, how does management manage to organize the big things. The fridge smelled like curry food, needed some cleaning. We waited almost 20 minutes for our luggage to be fetched upon check out. Unfortunately, very disappointing.

It was my first visit. Very clean and spacious room and good hotel facilities. Staff are always responsive and fast to the need of guest. But, during high season the price will be expensive, so recommend to visit from May to Sept which will make price affordable.

Bab Al Qasr is one of my favorite hotel to stay in Abudhabi, but with the current pandemic situation, there’s changes and restrictions. I’d rather stay in the hotel side not in the residence., unfortunately during my stay hotel was fully occupied by Abudhabi government military staff and lobby was partly covered for safety and security which is understandable.

It was a good stay over-all in spite of the current situation, we felt a bit paranoid knowing that there is Covid, but we observed and felt that the hotel really practiced all safety and hygienic measures to make guests feel more at ease. Service was good overall as well.

Amazing Hotel with 5 star staffThis was my first visit to this amazing hotel. From the moment I checked in (a special mention to Mridul on reception) you feel like a valued guest. To call it customer service, really underplays the warm, friendly, helpful and professional service you receive at Bab Al Qasr. In fact, it’s more like good old fashioned hospitality, as all the team are focused on ensuring you have the best stay possible. The rooms are spacious and clean with big bathrooms. The kitchen area is useful and has everything you need. There is a Waitrose supermarket at Etihad Towers, walking distance too. The pool and private beach are fabulous and they even bring ice cold flannels to cool you down! The location is perfect, close to Emirates Palace, Presidential Palace and Etihad Towers. All the rooms either have fantastic views of the Palaces or the Sea. The buffet breakfast was very good and all nationalities are catered for. If I had to find an area for improvement it would be housekeeping, it was a bit hit and miss and I had to ask at reception for the room to be cleaned. However, that wouldn’t stop me from recommending this wonderful hotel. Thank you so much to all the team at Bab Al Qasr for a relaxing stay in your beautiful hotel. For truly great service and for being so helpful and welcoming. A special thank you to Mridul on reception who gave outstanding service throughout my stay and for sorting out late check out when I had a mix up with my flights.

We showed at the hotel to check in at 3.30 pm and there were 100 people ahead of us either parking or checking in We left and came back 4 hours later 😩😩 Room was great but smelt of Arabic incense which cause some discomfort Not sure if I would come back

New, opulent and expansive in the best traditions of Abu Dhabi (+Dubai etc). Attended by wealthy locals for conferences during the day and entertainment in the evening, so not your typical "sunburnt tourists in shorts" resort. Large pool which tends to attract families with children, but also a "white sands" private beach which is much more mature and relaxed. Expect to see locals engaged in jetski shenanigans in deep waters outside the fenced-off swimming area, all very harmless but if that sort of noise annoys you, seek a different venue.
