Absolutely amazing staff, super friendly, most spoke English well. On site laundry was super affordable. Overall had the time of my life!

Just used edo as a base to sleep and shower. I spent the rest of my time out exploring. Very clean and the guy who looks after the place couldn’t do enough. It was in a great position as only a short walk to the train station. Was surrounded by places to eat. And a short ride on the train to all the major tourist spots.

It was better than a normal hotel because you have the chance to meet so many different people from all over the world. I personally met 2 polish guys a south Korean and many more.

Hayato(the manager) was kind and helpful. James, Aki, J.T., and everyone else made the place awesome. A very warm and welcoming environment. I will be returning there again.

I stayed here for approximately 8 days and was comfortable the entire time! Yes I did have to pay 100 yen for a 15 minute shower but the cost per night made it worth it! I would stay here again.

Pros:1. The hostel is located near to JR line station "Shin-Koiwa", it is near to every major tourist spot such as Shinjuku, Harajuku, Tokyo Disneyland, Akihabara, Ueno and so on. It's easy assess to Narita airport as well.2. A lot of eateries around the hostel. Price consider cheap compare to other popular district. Convenient shop, post office, arcade, drug stores, Seiju are all within walking distance.3. Hostel surrounding are quite all the time. 4. There's a fridge for the customers to store their food. It's free of charge. 5. Microwave is provided for the customers to heat up their food. Cons:1. Hostel staff barely speaks English, sometimes it's hard for me to express what I need to the hostel staff.2. It's quite messy inside the hostel, things are placed all over.3. Pantry is not really well-maintained, so as the microwave.4. Water heater works on and off, so it's a disaster for the customers during winter time. 5. Hostel staff do not do the beds for the customers, I'm requested by hostel staff to put on the bed sheets and fudon by myself upon arrival. It's really disappointing.

This place is great for the money. Pretty close to the subway, lots of local shops, markets, etc. Staff speaks English as well as multiple other languages. Bed is very clean but bathrooms and kitchen not so much. Also you must provide your own towel for the shower, just a heads up. I'd definitely come back here, but if you really want the Tokyo experience I'd head closer to the city center for a few extra yen.

Our host was a guy named Yuki. He was so nice and helpful. He spoke great English. We ended up hanging out with him a couple times and he showed us around Tokyo. Kinda like concierge service. I recommend this place.

The curtain of the partition on the bed is not proper, the lack of supplies, the water in the shower room does not flow, near the reception there is a lounge and bed, neither meal nor relaxation
