The room was somewhat tired but more importantly not very clean— specifically the bathroom floor and dead bugs in the ceiling. Multiple times the housekeeping staff entered the room before I could reply to their knock. The way the rooms are situated it’s hard to hear the knock, it seems like the knocking down the hall.

Great stay, wonderful location. Staff was quite friendly. We’ve stayed at Embassy Suites before, and the made to order breakfast and managers reception are the main reasons we keep coming back. The only issue we had was that when checking our Mastercard upon returning home there were charges amounting to roughly double the amount we agreed to. After a phone message the overcharges were removed. All in all a great stay!

The staff at the front desk worked feverishly to make up for the deficiencies of the houskeeping staff. There was no hand soap or enough towels, and no bedding for the pull out sofa. Had to ask multiple times and could not go to sleep until it was delivered to my room. Then, way after I had gone to bed, the housekeeping staff came again AND LET THEMSELVES IN to bring the bedding!

Overall I loved my stay here. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. If I had one complaint it would be that the floor in my room did not look like it had been swept recently and when booking the amenities listed showed room type would include robes and when I arrived I found that my room did not in fact contain robes. This turned out to be a non-issue as most of my time was spent elsewhere, however. Location of this hotel was key for me. It was very central to everything I wanted to do in the city while not being situated directly on the Ave of the Americas so you get some relief from traffic noise. Overall a great experience!

Room was spacious for NYC, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. Centrally located for everything we had planned for our mother/daughter weekend away. My new go-to hotel for our NYC trips!

While the front desk staff were most obliging, that is where it ended. Housekeeping was slow, waited over 5 hours(another call made) to get sofa bed opened)not thorough- room being cleaned at 6 pm one day(and poorly)or no one there until after 4 when s complaint was lodged. Request to speak to food & bev mngr was made but no response to concern.

Perfect location. Easy subway access. Staff were friendly, well trained, and helpful. Great customer service. Rooms were clean with nice amenities. Fast thermostat- air/heat. Thin walls noise/TV The buffet is clogged but the food was good. We went at various times and it was the same. A lot of people bumping into each other with juices and coffees. And some areas were disorganized. For example, the toast station was off to the side and the butter was 2 stations away, and the plates were under other stations. So you had to wait to get each. People would even take your toast or abandon their own in that time frame. Or if someone stopped in the line for the fruit, muffin, or yogurt you had to wait behind them because there was not room to go around. But the staff did a great job with assisting and serving. And the fresh custom or chief choice omelette were a winner. I also loved the free snacks and cocktail hour. Wonderful bonus. I would suggest you giving each guest a paper laminated place marker for their tables so they can claim the table and get food. One side states reserved the other side states clear. I saw people complain about another taking their table; it became awkward after food sent to that table, and the ordering person lost it. The elevators are packed at peak times. If you can, book a lower floor and use the stairs ( at least to descend). We liked the hotel and will book it again. It’s our new nyc hotel.

You can hear your neighbors when they open and close their door. The elevators are as slow as molasses and the breakfast area can get crowded towards the end of breakfast so get there early. The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

This was a great location! The $15 off a day parking was very helpful since the parking garage was so close. The $30 a day benefit for you in the restaurant or bar was good but realized that the drinks are very expensive. Also, they close Around 1030 so we missed three of our five nights. The breakfast were always crowded but the meat order omelettes were excellent. The happy hour was good for the drinks, but the food wasn’t that great. The rooms are small, which is the same for everything in the city. The service was good and he would definitely stay here if we come back again.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. Close to train, close to times square and Rockefeller without all the noise. They offered breakfast buffet, evening apps and drinks and a 30 dollar dining credit. There was alao ice cold water in the lobby which my 7 uear old loved because it was very hot when we went. In the evening they offered an outdoor mo e on the top of the 4th floor which we saw out our bedroom window. Very cute! Definitely would stay here again

This was our 2nd stay here. First one was 2 years ago and was amazing. This time not so much. Made reservations 8 months ago and asked for 2 rooms in a quiet location away from elevators. Upon checking in they gave us 2 rooms on differ ent floors both next to the elevator. They were able to change one but could not fix the 2nd one until the next day. The breakfast area was jam packed every morning and sometimes we could not get seating. They have a weird method of issuing room credit for free items which has a bunch of rules applied, still don’t understand that one. Will definitely try a different hotel on our next journey to NY.

Older hotel that has been updated. I had a king bed with a sofa that converted to a bed. The room was clean but very small. There are only three elevators for 15 plus floors resulting in long wait times when calling for an elevator. Breakfast is included in the rate, but there was never enough seating on the 4th floor where breakfast is served. Also, my room faced an office building where I could literally see employees working, and instead of sheer panels that I could use for privacy when the curtains were open, there were solid panels behind the curtains. Therefore, the room was constantly dark.

This hotel offered complimentary breakfast. From 5pm to 6:30 they offered their guest light snacks and beverages on their 4th floor. Which makes it cost effective when dining. Overall, I would recommend and go back again.

Location, complimentary services, staff, cleanliness were all very good! The only complaint will be that there was water leakage when taking showers, I’ll recommend they fix the water stopper to prevent spill. Otherwise, myself and my family had a wonderful experience and will definitely recommend and stay here anytime I’m in NewYork. Some reviews mentioned long wait time using the elevator but I didn’t experience that in my 5 days stay. Everything was very good.
