The property was great and the accommodations were unique. It felt more like visiting a friend at their home vs a hotel.

There’s nothing to say, because everything is not working properly and nothing good about Armadas

Wonderful place. The room was beautiful, staff was friendly and fantastic. Truly amazing place. My only complaint was that the bed really hard, so we didn’t sleep well at all

Could not write enough positive things regarding this property. Step back in time and experience the Irish Charm. From check in cocktails, bedtime drinks, amazing breakfast, a fresh goodbye loaf of bread. Niall and Kitty went above and beyond in every single way.

The service offered by the staff was excellent. They are worthy of Michelin 5-star level of care and customer satisfaction from the wait staff through the check in.

Spanish Point and Armada House was one of our favorite stops on our two-week trip to Ireland. We were greeted with champagne, and our ocean-view king bedroom with a private contemporary bathroom was beautiful. A letter welcoming us was on the desk, along with some chocolates. The house is old and grand with gorgeous antiques. It is within walking distance of the Armada Hotel, a large upscale oceanfront hotel, restaurant, and pub. The pub was the first thing there, supposedly, and they later added on with the hotel. We loved the pub and had a wonderful meal there. We chose this over the contemporary restaurant with marvelous ocean views-it was pricey. When we got back from dinner, I went downstairs to read in one of the glorious rooms. Alanna once again greeted me. She was wonderful and made me tea, brought out cookies and made a fire in the magnificent fireplace. Armada House is a luxury experience with how the staff care for their guests. There were many rooms to enjoy the ocean view downstairs even a chess board set up in front of one of the picture windows with a table and chairs. They have a lovely bar also with many different types of Irish whiskeys, amongst other beverages. Breakfast was delicious, and the presentation was spectacular. We would absolutely recommend this inn and will hopefully come back soon!

It was raining (go figure) and we just got back from eating dinner. The Help asked us if we wanted anything and got us baileys and we spent time by the fire. Very nice. Breakfast was awesome. Was sorry to see the evening help leave and not be there in the morning but Kitty was there to serve breakfast and help with checkout. If you want hustle and bustle and rude waitstaff you’ve gone to the wrong place. We went to the cliffs and Aron island afterwards and wanted to go back but it didn’t fit into our itinerary. One of the best parts of the trip.

Wonderful informative and friendly staff, gorgeous room and super breakfast. If in the area visiting the Armada House would be a wonderful base from which to explore west Clare.

We stayed here for a short 1 night stay. From check in to check out, the staff were exceptional throughout. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with credit to Kitty who was so warm and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was well looked after.
The house itself is beautifully appointed and provides a welcome respite from the wild Atlantic weather outside.

Had an amazing experience at the Armada House. For just an overnight stay, we felt more than welcomed. The place is well kept, quite elegant and very clean. Breakfast was a delicious and there were plenty of options! They even give you a yummy going away gift (homemade loaf of bread). Thank you to the very kind and friendly staff for treating us like family.

This was an absolute gem. It was my first trip to Ireland and the coast is breathtaking. Everything about this property was first rate. From check in to check out you felt pampered. There was Bailey’s Irish Creme and chocolate at turn down. After a gorgeous breakfast, they present you with a loaf of brown bread to take with you. I honestly can’t wait to plan a trip here and stay more than one evening. Brilliant!!

The most memorable part of this property was the amazing staff. We were welcomed by a lovely Bulgarian woman who brought us coffee to the room with cookies. She arranged for us to have our breakfast made early since we had to leave before 7am. When the cook knew we were leaving early, she insisted to make a hot breakfast to go for us. There was also a lovely Irish gentleman who insisted to put the baggage in my car and warned me to drive safely on the small roads in the rain. They are like one big happy family. I would definitely stay at this house/hotel again.

On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our accommodation after we were shown around Armada House. … we were offered a cup of tea . The receptionist asked if we wanted to book dinner and what time would be like breakfast . Within minutes everything fir our stay was organised .. the House was homely and beautifully furnished which added to the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere …

So welcoming! Lovely property! Arrived late and was welcomed with hot tea and delicious banana bread.

Fantastic breafast was a big advantage. Nice interior and comfy beds.
The room was much smaller than advertised (around 10-12 square meters instead of 25), we also could not open the window and there was no air conditioning, so we got out of oxygene real quick... The check in was kind of confusing, the staff wasn't sure whether oour payment through hotels.com has been processed.

Absolutely loved Spanish Point House. There wasn't anything that could have been better than that! We were so enchanted with the place that we will definitely be back. We weren't too keen on the restaurant across the street owned by the same company, which was so surprising. Shoutouts to Miss Kitty and Miss Assumpta who made out visit even more special. You ladies are amazing.
