Bday weekend with family and friends

Room was great. Breakfast less than average - no eggs or hot cereal. Just bagels coffee and milk pastries. Took a while to figure out that you need to go to the sister hotel for check in but other than that I enjoyed my stay and will return.

Beautiful historic property. Our room was a little disappointing in that the bathroom needs to be updated to include double sinks, makeup mirror and better quality towels. There was not a guard rail in the tub/shower. We had to ask for luggage racks since there ws nowhere to put our luggage except on the floor. We enjoyed one dinner here but were disappointed in the food and especially the service. Rhinebeck is full of excellant restaurants so we were disappointed in the hotel restaurant. The entire property, although beautiful is in need of some "deferred maintenance."

wonderful place in a nice little town. we enjoyed staying there: The room was spacious and clean. Only the whole throw away plastic at breakfast annoyed us.

Wonderful! Very clean. Very comfortable bed, and nice sitting area. Quiet. Beautiful grounds. Perfect location for walking through town.

Charming historic hotel and inn in beautiful Hudson River Valley! Rooms are comfy, The Tavern where George Washington was known to frequent is awesome! Staff were absolutely fantastic and Nansi at the Front Desk, went out of her way to accommodate us when an emergency happened. Great place to explore!

The hotel refused to honor my reservation and cancelled and provided zero assistance stating it was a technical glitch.

Don’t be fooled by the photo of a lovely old building that suggests that is the Delamater Inn. The rooms are actually in modern facilities behind the establishment. We had a WALK UP to second floor with no one to help with luggage. The decor was a cheap construction The bathroom was tiny and cheaply constructed. Breakfast was at the Beekman Arms a couple blocks away. And by breakfast time, no one had shoveled the walk

I booked the Demeter Inn but they moved me to the Beekman because the internet was out. It was explained to me that staff should have called to advise me of the switch. They did not. My room at the Beekman was directly above the front desk and I could literally hear every word from below. The worst part though was the talking crossing light across the street. It cyclically speaks 3x and then beep beep beeps. Absolute torture and didn't sleep a wink. Meditation didn't help. Rumbling traffic at least covered up the tormenting sound. Never thought I'd pray for traffic.

Wonderful historic property. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my meal in the tavern.

Perhaps it would’ve been more advantageous just to have a refrigerator in the room…..

Weekend getaway with wifey. All good.

Wonderful historic property. I was provided the opportunity to change my booking to a pet friendly room last minute. I found the front desk staff not extremely hospitable. They were efficient but not welcoming. The sprawling grounds and historic buildings were all well kept. Located right in the center of the business district. Shopping was a short walk away.

It would have been nice to know that checkin was in another building.

Originally we thought we were going to be in the main inn, but we were in the cottage and it was just fine.

Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Poor setup, poor selection...considering the price of rooms and the fact you have to walk from rooms to the nain building further down the street.

Check-in was down street at main Inn which would have been fine if indicated somewhere - I walked in on people occupying a house on premises which very much looked like where you would check-in for the Delamater. The room is very dated and in need of repairs. The heater was so loud that I had to turn it off to be able to sleep, and the bed was like sleeping on plywood.

We booked a particular room and previewed it for my elderly mother. The room seemed good as it had grab bars in the bathroom and a curbless walk in shower. We arrived to check in and was told we would be in a different room but it was basically the same layout. It took us a half an hour to find the room and the room had a tub/shower with a high step and no grab bars.

The Continental breakfast was five star.

I stayed for one night in a room with two queen-size beds. The service was quite pleasant. It was a bit challenging to locate the concierge due to the extensive service coverage across the large area. The breakfast was standard, slightly better than traditional continental breakfasts in America. The room was warm with air conditioning. However, this made the air very dry at night. The bathroom and toilet were standard. There was sufficient lighting in the room.
It was very nice that the administration left a small gift in the room! Thank you for that!
Will I stay here next time? Definitely yes.

We had a lovely stay. The grounds and different buildings on the property are lovely and so convenient to the town. The Beekman Arms tavern is cozy and a great place to hang out. The free breakfast was adequate although no hot foods. Some of the rooms were a bit dated but all still very clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The breakfast area had no heat, making it uncomfortable. The roof on the buildings is missing shingles. The ceiling lights each had different bulbs. Could use some sprucing up all around.

Excellent dining. Very clean and comfortable rooms. (One hiccup ...no one was there in AM for breakfast service, but the front desk adjusted billing.)

Bathroom could use repair. Paint and wood chipping.
Continental breakfast ended at 10 both at Beekman & Delamater so no coffee!
Room and bathroom clean.
Nice quiet location.

It was magical, although the rooms could use an update. It was very clean, staff was sweet, beds were very comfortable and the small details made all the difference. I would stay again in a heartbeat. What a lovely place to stay in beautiful Rhinebeck!

Stay was great! Complimentary continental breakfast was included, which was not mentioned at time of booking, so it was a nice surprise.

Quiet. Nice continental breakfast. A little musty smell but we opened windows and it was ok.

We loved the quaintness of the property and the amount of space we had.

I had neglected to specify that I needed a downstairs room. When I arrived the only available rooms were upstairs (about 20 steps). The young woman at check-in basically told me ‘tough luck, find somewhere else but we are going to charge you if you leave.’ I asked to speak to the manager who graciously told her to find me a room.

This place has really gone downhill. They have too many buildings and rooms to keep up with. My room was so moldy and musty and remained so even after I had the windows open for a few hours. The bed was uncomfortable and it appeared the mattress was old. Maybe the rooms are better at their other inn. I won’t be staying again.

A very cozy hotel. I always feel that I’m at home when I stay here.

The street sign and house numbers were VERY difficult to see in the dark.
Otherwise, the site and rooms are unique and exellent.

Less than OK stay. Room was moldy smelling. TV didn’t work. Noisy guests…

Lovely historic inn right in the center of town. The staff were all very kind and welcoming - and the buildings were all beautiful. Our room in the newer section was great and had nice views over the town. We will be back!

A little disorganized.
