If you are used to the amenities at normal Hotel chains then skip this place and go next door or the holiday inn. If you want to save $50 night , stay here at the budget motel with a view. Pro’s : - The View - The bed firmness - Bedding and towels were clean - the staff was polite and friendly - I was able to save money on the stay to spend it on other purchases in town. - bathroom sink newer - Breakfast didn’t make me sick. Was limited options and was thankful for something. - Great people watching entertainment Cons: - There is no Beach ( just fenced off large rocks) - Stains on multiple places ( most likely from the allowed pets) - Room very run down - Toliet seat was a dance party - Shower water pressure was a pressure washer - All door locks were sketchy. ( Good thing crime was not high on my concerns in this area) - Breakfast is more of a snack until you eat somewhere else. ( was better than nothing) - no enforcement of, motel guest, barking dogs at night. - Bathroom fan vents back into room 🙄😕

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting the UP of Michigan, and found it to be a really nice, charming hotel. Loved the fact that it was right on the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every evening on the swinging lawn chairs. Our only complaint was there wasn't enough outlets for 3 people to plug stuff in and breakfast was minimal. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was close to several places to eat or shop if you need groceries, and we were thankful for the free ice to refill our cooler when we left. Will definitely stay again in a future visit.

It was a lovely setting And lawn was well maintained Rooms were nice but could use good cleaning along baseboards Bottom sheets didn’t tit right Room service had to be asked for Morning food was very packaged and ok Rolls and bagels were stale Nice breakfast room and setting It was acceptable . For prices of room I pobably expected more. Cheap items . I probably would not stay again .

Quaint little inn with nice big yard overlooking the water. All rooms overlook the water with balcony on the second floor. Be sure to ask for first floor if you can’t climb stairs. We managed the stairs ok. Sparce continental breakfast but will get you by. Just a few miles into town and to Painted Rock visitors center and Munising Falls. We did not find very many dining options in Munising - several pizza places.

It's a lovely place. The back yard has chairs, grills, tables for use. Fun to sit out there in evenings and watch the beautiful sunsets. Very comfortable place, clean, tidy.

Very basic and dated old school motel. We usually like this; but when walls are moldy, paint damaged, someone else’s mascara on the towels - oh, and the door frame was cracked from being kicked in. The blind on the window would not open either by pulling it up or twisting the slats open, defeating the purpose of a water view. Breakfast extremely basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but didn’t make up for the room. Overpriced but the location on the lake is probably the reason. Stay somewhere else, pay less, drive to the lake for the view.

Comfortable stay in a dated room All rooms face Lake Superior. Bottom rooms open to a large grass backyard with chairs Breakfast consists of bagels, danish or toastable frenchtoast.

Our only minor suggestion is to vary the pillows. The ones in our room were too big. Otherwise the staff was wonderful and the place was spotless. The huge shoreline yard offered several chairs for guests and everyone loved hanging out there.

Enjoyed our stay for the most part, the room was clean, beds very comfortable and the view of Munising Bay was very nice. Especially enjoyed the shower with awesome water pressure! Just a couple minor downsides - the room was lacking a closet for hanging clothes, and there was no decaf coffee in the room or in the breakfast room. Management needs to do a better job of keeping guests from smoking on the shared balcony - ruined my enjoyment of sitting on the balcony.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms, that could use some updating. Great sunset views from the balcony and lots of outdoor seating if you’d like to barbecue or picnic. It’s also well located if you plan to explore Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You can access the water from the property, but it’s not a beach, it’s quite rocky and flat, so not really suitable for swimming.

The room was very dated, no couch or chair, kung size bed with sheets that did not fit... skept on mattress pad... aur conditioner, heater that ran on 1 speed high blowing dirctky onto head of bed, briught in lawn chair to have a place ti sut. Overoriced and uncomfortable, mediocre.

It was nice to have a water view and a nice are to sit outside. It was super clean beds were very comfortable, breakfast was the usual nothing healthy. It could use a bit of updating. Very pet friendly!

The front desk was top notch on helping us find info for destination spots. Very easy check-in. Bed's were comfortable, on Lake Superior with a balcony and great hangout area on the water. Bathroom was clean but maybe some updates. I would stay again!

The hotel has a beautiful view of the bay and a great outdoor space to utilize, tons of pluses there! That said, the outdoor space is only as relaxing as those you’re sharing it with and there were several children unattended by their parents running around / yelling both evenings of my stay. Rooms were fine and what you’d expect in a motel in a small town. Prices were a bit high for my stay during the summer high season, but to be expected.

The room was clean and the location convenient to experience Pictured Rocks. Property is right on water and has a beautiful view. Breakfast included bagels, yogurt, French toast made in the toaster, cereals, etc. This motel is nothing fancy or luxurious. The back balcony is shared, so there is no privacy between rooms.

Great size room and location for enjoying Pictured Rocks area and having food etc options in the town, great view from our room of the water and wonderful back yard area for sitting out by water with view. Friendly staff, ice plenty of ice! Bed good, bathroom little outdated but fine and shower was amazing water pressure. Little continental breakfast was fine.
