Wonderful place to stay! We would absolutely return! Clean & comfortable. Great amenities including; fire pit with wood, washer/dryer, fridge, Kuerig with coffee, nice shower products, comfortable linens & towels. Very clean & easy/secure check-in.Host was responsive & friendly.

The property was great! However, we drove in at night and none of the units were lit and the sign at the road was not lit. This made it hard to find the property. Once we were there ... it was great!!

Thought property would have a stove and refrigerator and freezer. It was manageable. Better communication between then and 3rd party would be beneficial

Cottage 210 was the perfect spot for our week long stay. The cottage came with everything we needed including 4 coffee pods (no sugar or cream), 2 laundry pods, 2 dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Including firewood for the solo stove! We made dinner a few nights and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed as well. The bed was super comfortable, loved the blackout shades and sound machine. Each room including the living room had a smart TV. Convenient to log in to any app you want. The water pressure was incredible!! We stayed with our dog and the side door and yard was perfect for letting her out to do her business. Not to mention the view from the front windows was so relaxing and beautiful.
Pat's food grocery store less than a mile a way has roast chicken, pre made dinners, and everything else you need. In town we loved eh! Burger and East Channel Brewimg and the wood fired pizza connected. Location is perfect to kayak and/or take a Pictured Rock tour as well as a day trip to Marquette. We highly recommend and hope to be back!!

The unit still smelled new. It was clean. It was close to many places to eat and Wagner Falls as well. Perfect place for a nice get away

Amazing place today such a beautiful view from where I was staying
2.0
Beautiful cabin. it was much smaller than anticipated, but we made it work. However, this is very deceiving description because there are in fact NO kitchen amenities except a Keurig and a fridge. So I wasn’t able to cook anything that I brought.
the property is close to town and trails and beaches. The walking hike up to Algers Falls was fun and literally right there so that’s a great feature!
I probably wouldn’t stay here again without being able to cook out and have those options

No hanging space. Orbitz said 3pm check in the location would not allow us in until 4pm

Absolutely loved it!!! It was perfect for our family.

We liked the small studio cabin enough. Modern look, bathroom was really nice.
Shower didn't get very hot. If you like hot showers, this isn't the place.
Upon arrival there were tech issues and our code didn't work and wifi was down. Took around 30 mins for off site staff to respond. Room was mostly clean. Fridge needed to be wiped down better and the pullout bed had sand all over it (they offered to send a housekeeper back but I'd already cleaned up).
No partial refund was offered. I was told there wasn't anything they could do because we booked through Expedia and not them. When I talked to Expedia, they called Explore and Explore denied the request to do a partial refund. So it was definitely up to Explore to offer some kind of refund or upgrade for inconveniences but they declined.
It's pet friendly, but not many places for your pet to do their business. All grassy or flat areas are near the cabins...they have to go potty right next to a cabin. It's a little awkward.
That said, there are hiking trails on the property if you want to take your pet through them. We love hiking but it was raining during our stay.
No freezer in the mini fridge. It's more like a wine fridge. Nice looking, but not exactly functional.
Would have preferred a rug in the entrance (there is one outside but it's not enough) to wipe our feet. Parking areas are dirt and that was easy to track in, especially when it rained.

New construction cabins, which were cleanly and included all of the basics. Great location-two minutes from downtown Munising and five from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Visitor’s Center! Very close to restaurants, breweries, and activities! They have assigned parking, which was tight for spots 112 and 113. I have a large motor vehicle and could not comfortably fit in the spot. I attempted to reach out to management about the parking but did not receive a response.

Very cute, close to town but quiet. Signage for the one way could have been more prominent, but overall a very nice stay

The property was super nice all around. Would definitely stay again

Nice to walk to the waterfall nearby. Hiking trails.

The cabin was clean! Location to Munising is great. The property and the view is really nice. The washer/dryer in the cabin was a nice extra amenity. It was perfect place to stay for our annual girls trip. We would stay here again!

Beautiful scenery, I loved the trails for walking and the fire pit outside. Perfect for family or if it’s your first time in the area.

The cute suites were just what we needed for a short stay in the Munising area. They're close to town and had many amenities including a solo stove/fire pit. They even had a device that provided white noise for sleeping. We'll definitely stay again.

We loved the view from our cottage. We booked a 6 person cottage and it was very clean and it provided for our needs in the kitchen and bathroom. We didn’t have road noise problems at the upper level which was great since my husband is a light sleeper. Our shower water stayed warm enough for all of us. We will definitely book again.

New cabins just outside Munising on the main road. Very nice. I’m not sensitive about noise but road noise here was pretty bad.

This is a brand new beautiful cabin. I loved that there was a fire pit with some wood included. The shower was amazing! The view was amazing at sunset. The property was on a fairly busy road that you could hear traffic. There were 4 of us in the 2 bedroom cabin and there wasn’t enough seating in the sitting area without someone having to sit in the kitchen or on the floor or outside at the fire pit. The kitchen had many supplies for cooking but no baking sheets for the oven. Also the top windows in the sitting area did not have shades or anti glare coating which could be hard on the eyes to watch tv or sit in the sitting area. The location and amenities make up for these minor inconveniences. Overall an above average stay! The beds were great and there was even a noise machine in the bedroom which I appreciated!

Very nice property. There were a few frustrations. I am guessing the bugs (not literal) will get worked out.
Do NOT try to find the property from the Hotels.com address! Wasn’t able to watch tv and the hot water heater must be really small.
It is a no contact check in which is fine, however I was given a check in for 2 different cottages. The person I talked to… was her first night on the job and I was pretty frustrated.
We would probably stay there again now that we know what to expect.

This is a newer property so there are a few kinks to work out but overall a clean and nicely furnished property that is located in a convenient and easily accessible location. Improvements would be adding additional area to hang coats/other items. Near the entry they used a small sharp gravel which gets imbedded in your shoes and dragged into room - this is painful to step on barefoot! We had to sweep multiple time a day! An additional rug at the exterior and interior door would be helpful.
I booked thru Expedia and listing stated it was walkable to Lake Superior and it is not and their map showed it in wrong location.
Overall a good stay if you are out and about most of the day but a bit claustrophobic for any activities in the room if the weather is bad.

Great place to stay in the UP for people like is who love nature but are not big camping fans. Very clean and comfortable with only the essentials.

Quiet, cozy and very clean! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

It is so tough to find an updated, cute, unique place to stay in the UP. This place was perfect. Brand new and very upscale accommodations in a great location! The communication was great. They even provided wood for the fire pit!

For what is charged, I expected way better than what we got. There is no mention on their website that some cabins are about 50 yards from a highway with no sound barrier. I didn't sleep much - trucks going 55 mph felt like they were coming through the cabin. Their solution was a white noise machine in the room. No noise machine is covering that up. I feel this is something that should be disclosed up front on the website before booking and not hidden until you're awakened that first night. Also, the hot water for my shower lasted about 3 minutes - just enough time to get soap in my hair. My 5 minute shower ended in ice cold water. Same thing happened for my husband. We ended up not showering for the remainder of our stay. Despite the newness of the facilities and the pleasantness of the crew, you have to have to provide a good night's sleep and hot water to get a 5 star review from me. I am angered at what we paid for a 3 night stay with no sleep or enough hot water for showers. I will not go there again nor recommend it.

We liked the location. Not in town, but just a short drive to all the fun!! Would definitely recommend!!

I loved this property. The booking agent/management part caused some issues. Once on property though, everything else was great!

We felt so comfortable in this cabin. It had everything we needed, and a little extra, for our weekend away
4.0
We enjoyed the amenities of suite 101, but being the closest to the highway was a bit off putting when we arrived. We would have preferred to be a bit around the bend or will consider a suite above next time.
I would have liked some bedside lighting options or light dimmers of some kind in the evening. It just made it difficult if I wanted to read at night while my husband wanted to sleep. Please consider some different lighting options.
We enjoyed the sky views out the upper windows at night. We also appreciated the crew that was courteous and friendly. Overall we would stay again, with some booking changes in suites.

Very nice layout of cabin
Clean
Excellent linens
Great fire pit
Sounds of the creek
Did not like Adirondack chairs perfer chairs that are more comfortable and easy to get out of!

Nice property; wish we'd been able to stay longer.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee.

Hello, the doorknob for the bathroom was broken so I got locked in the bathroom after being there only 10 minutes,
They sent a maintenance professional (Jeff) who was exceptional and had it fixed very quickly, overall not too bad very odd layout for the kitchen

The place is way small, too small! It was nice and clean (New) the property trails were marked real good but it is winter time.ot worked idk if I’d stay again

Very new and very clean. First the good. Firm mattresses, TVs in each room, decent shower, nice oven and microwave and fridge. Dryer was key as well. Only criticisms if I had to: counter stools are the wrong height for the counters, gravel outside each doorway tends to track inside. Would be great if they added decking or community grill spots too. Our TV in one bedroom wouldn’t play properly but we didn’t care that much with two other functional TVs. I’d come a bit better prepared next time to cook more meals or bring more food as the off season doesn’t have much in the way of open establishments. There’s one pizza place in town and a burger joint we decided to pass on. With better restaurants in the area this could be a great hidden gem.

We absolutely loved the room. We had everything we needed. The only reason we rated this 4 stars was because the property had a one way road that inclined up a hill and it was impossible with snow for our vehicle to gain traction to go up the hill to make it around the loop. We had to back out each time. Also, after the first 5 minute shower the water became cold and unbearable. Overall, great location and amenities.

I was super happy with the whole experience at this cabin. Clean, new, and close to everything we wanted to do: hike, visit waterfalls and Lake Superior, go to the Ice Festival, and Eben Ice Caves.
These being seperate units, they were super quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. The windows let in the natural beauty right outside the door, and has ample windows for natural light.
I read someone comment they thought the mattress was thin, i didn't find that to be true. They may have updated them, but the master bed had a thick memory foam mattress.
Had a great time, and definitely will stay again.

We loved the cabin. It was spotless and beautiful. The location is so close to Munising. This will be our go to place to stay when visiting!
