Service was great, very nice staffs, very helpful! The place is decorated extremely well. A lot of personnel touch. Room is clean and breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

The walls are very thin and the bathrooms are very small. Staff are great and the bar/reception area is great. 15 minutes walk to the center of town.

Super staff, tidy and clean rooms, good breakfast, nice location and easy to get into the city centre and away to the bus station

It’s not far to downtown, but need to walk through a roundabout (no walk way), have to be careful. Always be waken up in early morning by noise in the hallway or neighbors. Service is very good. Generally fine.

Very helpful staff.

We stayed two nights at the hosteria and it was wonderful. The owners are very friendly kind and helpful. The house and the garden are very nice, only the rooms are small. But you have many space to sit outside your room with wonderful views over El Calafate and the lake. We can recommend it to everybody and would come back every time.

Cozy dining area with homey feel, comfortable couch by the fireplace for relaxation, pleasant staff. The bed coverings were thin and the room felt a little cold in the morning.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was great and the room was very clean. Definitely would stay again. Family business and they really care about it with homemade jams

It is a very friendly family business. Everyone was very helpful.

The lady owner is very kind. Besides the great breakfast and other services, we stayed on the Xmas day, she invited us and some other guests to celebrate the Xmas eve with her family and staff. There were food, wine, snacks, etc. One guest was a musician so we had music as well! I don't speak Spanish but felt completely at home. She treats her guests as family members. It was an unforgettable, unique experience for us. Highly recommend.

Family-owned and managed, this hostal is the best base from which to know the glaciar area.
Very helpful staff will guide you around while sharing the local history and culture

Fantastic stay at Hosteria Rukahue. A clean, comfortable and very friendly place run by hosts who cannot do enough for their guests.
It's about 15 minutes to walk to the main street (and uphill on the way back).
Would definitely recommend this place.

It is as a good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a bit small and the showers are only 20 inches square. A bigger shower and they would be perfect.

The owner of the hotel is extremely nice and friendly, enjoy to stay in this hotel.

We were only there for two nights, but found it to have many thoughtful touches and a cosy space. It's quite a walk to the restaurants and bars though, so would recommend having a car.

It is actually a short walk from bus station, but we had difficulties to find it, as addresses are not logical. A little too far away from city center by walking, however, taxis in Argentina are very inexpensive. Nice and very friendly staff. Small but very clean rooms. Nice dining room and first floor with lovely views over village and lake. Breakfast with lots of nice cakes but not too much else.

Very nice hotel in a quiet location. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was especially warm, friendly and helpful.

This is a very warm, family run establishment on the outskirts of town. It takes basically 10 minutes to walk to the center of Calafate. At first I saw that as something of a demerit but over time I came to enjoy its peripheral position outside of the hubbub of the tourist center. The foyer of the hotel has a great upstairs area for reading and writing. I had a lot of writing to catch up on so I used basically an entire day at one of their tables upstairs. They are very good at arranging anything you could want in terms of shuttles or expeditions. I spent four nights there and recommend it.

Beautiful little hotel overlooking the city. Not far from the bus station. The hostess was delightful.

A fantastic stay and best of all Adriana was a great host who did everything to make our stay truly memorable. A few minutes outside town it can easily be walked to or will cost you less than $2 for a taxi. I would strongly encourage anyone looking to stay there to book it.

Adriana is the best host. This is a true home where Adriana and her family lives. As soon as you enter, you feel coming into someone's home and you are welcomed in a warm and genuine manner. It was lovely to stay in this hosteria which is super clean and truly authentic, which is rare to come by. Downtown is short 5-10 min walk and the view from the hosteria is beautiful on the lake and surroundings. Every morning, home made breakfast is served to you by the host herself.
I highly recommend staying here if in el Calafate.
