The place is heavenly. The staff are wonderful and arrange whatever you want. The rooms are comfortable and rustic. Most of the menu in the restaurant is good - my only recommendation would be for them to make it more simple / homey vs trying to be a fine dining. The wines are great.

Best Hotel we’ve stayed in Italy! Fantastic environment, rooms and location.
The rooms are very well renovated and decorated to be modern yet not to loose the old look. The hotel is well kept and the environment is beautiful with nice views over the Tuscan countryside.
Close to Greve and other villages for day trips.
The restaurant is top class with Vincent and hos team serving excellent food, the meat is outstanding.
Absolutely recommend this.

Seriously the most unique and beautiful hotel!! The views are breathtaking. Do the wine tasting!! Enjoy the views! We rented a car- we were able to venture out to get snacks at a grocery store and try some local dining.

My husband and I booked this stay with our 3 teenagers while visiting from Canada. We wanted a few days of quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist cities we visited during our trip. This was absolute perfection! It’s a beautiful property with high-end amenities. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and taking in the scenery. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the wine tasting experience. Would highly recommend.

Salvadonica was absolutely beautiful and had all we could have asked for in a relaxing Tuscany vacation. We did the cooking class and particularly loved that experience. Our only complaint or word of wisdom is we were surprised about how many children were there. Most were very respectful and well behaved but that wouldn’t appeal to some. We particularly like kids, so ok with us but I know friends who would be less thrilled with the addition noise and commotion.

Unhelpful staff & in some cases sexist when ordering food & drink at the bar/restaurant (stopping female order to prioritise a man). Overall hotel is well maintained but staff need to be more helpful.

Staff are inconsistent and in some cases rude. Hotel has great potential, but staff need to put the customer first.

Our stay here was our favorite part of our Italy trip, we didn’t leave the resort because it has everything you could need for an amazing Tuscan stay. The property and ever resort staff member were absolutely wonderful!! We would absolutely book and come again!

The property is amazing, rooms are spacious and immaculate. We ate dinner and breakfast there, and the food and wine were incredible! So many choices for the breakfast buffet. The property was gorgeous, you could walk a few miles from the vineyards down to marked trails through the woods. Wish we had more time to try their wine tasting, cooking class or bike rentals. Would definitely stay here again!

I had only booked a night as I was passing through the area. The property was clean, inviting and quite beautiful, one of the nicest of the trip. In my next trip to the area, I will book again for longer. The breakfast spread was impressive with great service.

What an amazing place, the views and sunset are just stunning. The unique layout and how they used the old farm buildings to create this hotel/ resort is neat. The cooking class was an added bonus we enjoyed.

Just an amazing hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and directed us to good spots/restaurants. Rooms are just beautiful as is the whole property. They screen old movies at night outside. Highly recommended. one of these hotels you can’t wait to come back to.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful property, felt newly renovated but retained that rustic feel of a Tuscan Villa. The grounds are scenic and the daily breakfast is great. The on-site restaurant has wonderful cuisine. Staff are also helpful and friendly. Lots of wineries, great food spots and hilltop villages are within a 30 minute drive. Would stay here again.

Salvadonica is a hidden gem right outside Florence. This was our second stay and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant on site is top notch as well as the service from the receptionists to the wit staff. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back every year!

Salvadonica was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Italy - you can’t beat the beauty and luxury of this sprawling property nestled in the hills of Tuscany. There is plenty to do at the hotel (great food, wine, olive oil tastings, pool, hiking) and it is close to several small towns with their own hidden attractions and picturesque charm. Only a 45 minute drive from Florence, we will definitely be back for a longer stay and to use this as a base to explore more of Tuscany.
