Having a hotel so close to Wrigley Field definitely made our experience so much better. The hotel was amazing and so was Pearl Jam!!!
3.3
Horrible service, unclean room, dirty bed, mosquitos etc
3.3
No parking, Best Western Hawthorne Terrace Hotel Is the best hotel for this area.

Bizarre experience in that the front doors of the hotel are locked and there is nobody to let you in. I did the online pre check in and arrived at the time I entered, but had no way to enter the property. I knew it was before the hotels standard check in but thought at least there would have been a way to enter the lobby and leave bags. We called the number online several times and got no answer. Texted a number we found and eventually got an answer. A cleaning person arrived and let us in. We sat in the lobby perplexed with no staff around to answer questions. Eventually got another text saying my room is ready. But had to wait for someone to bring a key. The same cleaning person showed up with the key. We let another guest in the doors who was just as perplexed. A staff person did arrive at 115 and was helpful. The lobby is clean and modern, very cool vibe. The room was clean and modern and very comfortable. Hotel felt secure and safe. So other than the bizarre lack of a human being on physically present, it was a nice space. Great location a short walk from the stadium and in the middle of lots of great dining and bars. Would recommend the place itself, but be prepared for a very virtual experience.

Our family spent three nights at Wrigleyville to tour the city and go to a Cubs game. It's a great place for a night if you're going to a Cubs game--less than two blocks away and in walking distance to several bars and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and orderly, although they did not have a refrigerator or microwave. The building's decor is fitting for a baseball game. The major drawback is that there is no parking, and we had to use the Wrigley Field Parking garage for our two vehicles. In three nights the parking cost us an extra $500.
3.3
Our room had one small window that looked at a brick wall. The safe did not work. There were no extra blankets for the pull out couch. The check in person seemed like he either hated his job or just didn’t want to be there. This is a lot of negatives after paying over $500/night. Plus had to pay $128 to park in a garage down the street- no parking available @ hotel.
3.3
BEWARE HIDDEN FEES!! This place would be a fine stay except they charge so much money for “resort & property” fees that provide NO value. None.
3.3
Friendly staff, terrific location
3.3
Pretty basic, door didn’t lock well
3.3
Went to check into our room and they told me they over booked the hotel and that I could no longer stay there
3.3
No service, no answer to my questions, no housecleaning (or you have to pay an extra) and no lounge at roof top as the say.
This is a scam!
3.3
Beautiful hotel close to Wrigley Field and many restaurants and Halstead area. I highly recommend this place and make sure to visit the roof top at night during your stay.
3.3
Great hotel right down the street from Wrigley.
3.3
We reserved a queen suite and got put in a bunk bed room. When I asked he said they were over booked and that’s what he had. There was also a game at Wrigley and the garage parking for their hotel was full until almost 2 am so we couldn’t even check in until very late! The kid who was helping me was rude and offered NO ACCOUNTABILITY or ACCOMMODATION.
3.3
Loved the theme.

This place is a bit of a rip-off. For what the prices and hidden fees are, they should at least have people working at this hotel. Stood around for 20 minutes waiting to check in. Would’ve been standing in the sun for the entire 20 if another guest hadn’t let us in earlier. Beware for them to charge you an additional $50/day resort fee plus another $50 reservation fee in addition to your room fee. The resort fee is for six free beverages, which we never even got on our first day, and when I texted the remote concierge, they replied “let’s see what happens,” which, I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean in that context. And that was all I heard of it.
Was going on a multi-city trip and this was the most expensive hotel by far and it had non-existent service. Beware you’re essentially extra paying for a fancy airbnb in the shell of a hotel with no staff.

my room reservation was made months ago, when I arrived my room was downgraded. The Staff was rude, and not helpful
3.3
It was perfect for a clean money saving option. No parking!
3.3
The location is in Wriggleyville so on game day is fun but noisy but great location where we walked everywhere and close to CTA bus stop.
3.3
Very clean. Too pricy.

The only reason I’m not giving this adorable place 5 stars is because of the parking situation. I didn’t know there wasn’t parking until I received an email stating so the day before I checked in. This may have been an oversight on my part not noticing when I booked. My complaint is that I used the suggested garage and was parked there for less than 24 hours and parking was $150! Had I known how expensive it would be, I would’ve booked elsewhere. Just keep that in mind when choosing a hotel based on price. Otherwise, the hotel itself was great!
3.3
Hotel was great other than discovering someone’s thong underwear under the sink when we first arrived. Notified the desk attendant on our way out to dinner only to find it still there when we returned.
3.3
Super clean and comfortable. Our room looked onto the street but wasn't too loud.
3.3
it was just a bit irritating when I called to check in and get my keys and no one answered. otherwise I enjoyed my experience
3.3
Absolutely terrible. I would give this hotel a 0000 if I could. Worse customer service, in fact there is none. Plus they tack on hidden fees and then double charge your credit card. There is no parking so you have to park in the city lots. If there is an event at wrigley you pay for the event parking and the regular parking. The hotel could care less. Never stay here
3.3
If you like to be continually harassed about check-in, upgrades and then stay in a room that smells like a locker room, this place is for you!
3.3
The guy at checkout act like he knew nothing. We get to our room and our TV only works on one channel. I called down to the front desk and no one answered. I went down and after two hours of him trying to fix our TV and offering to switch rooms he went down stairs and never returned. So, we had our TV on one channel. Next morning we were thinking of staying another night, BUT no front desk person and I call the number it gives you to call. It rings to where someone should be sitting... No one there!! I said forget it. They lost our business!
3.3
Run! Don’t walk away from this place! You’ve been warned
3.3
Perfect place to stay if going to a cubs game or spending the night in the area. The hotel service was phenomenal. The room was clean, decorative and very stylish. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.
3.3
Great place. Refrigerator in room would be nice
3.3
Close to the ballpark at reasonable rate
3.3
Wonderful property. Very cool space. Tons to do. Right next to wrigley. Definitely stay again.
3.3
We loved our room and balcony. Our room had bunk beds and a double bed. The balcony had an awesome view and we enjoyed the rooftop outdoor space as well. The location could not be beat for a Cubs game and a night out.
3.3
I was told that they cannot let me stay due to over booked although I paid in advance. The woman at front desk almost threatened me that if I need a room, go to another group hotel, which is 30 minutes away from the location. She even told me that I should complain to Hotels.com since I paid to them...
