We enjoyed our weekend at Isla Bella. The area is very beautiful and peaceful. If you want to unplug, this I is a great place to do it.

Everything was wonderful, we only had on bad experience, the female weight at the main pool was not nice, not attentive, very slow. At one point she dropped a tray of beer and drinks, accidents do happen but she just walked away and left the mess sitting on the pool deck where people walk. We were very nice to her thinking maybe she was just having a bad day but so smile and many thank you got not one smile. So we just started walking up to get our drinks and food. Other than her, the trip was wonderful and the property is beautiful.

What beautiful place ! You don’t even need to leave the property to enjoy almost everything you can enjoy on Marathon .A few extra fees that I was not fully aware when making the reservation but I decided not to let that ruin our wonderful time there .I agree with others reviews the food is a little bit pricey and just ok .Also the services at the main pool cool be better .All the other employees I had the pleasure to interact with were great.This place has everything set up to be easy transformed on a all inclusive concept resort.We will be back in a few months most definitely.The room was huge and nice .The bed and pillows super confortables.Our son had a great time .He made some friends and everything.Make sure you go to the main pool .Open 8-10 ! And is perfect for kids all ages .They have a few other smaller pools.Even one adults only pools if you just want to enjoy in peace away from the families and the bar .A few great places to eat with in minutes driving .Sombrero beach a few minutes away really nice! The 7 miles bridge to fish and the bridge was extremely fun .Many option to go on a fishing trip super close .

Here are pros and cons. Pros: wonderful property!! Beautiful resort with fantastic rooms, all with a water view and a large veranda. Super comfy beds, super large bathroom with separate shower. All look new and well decorated! Cons: front desk attendants are not nice (BTW, something super common in Miami resorts as well). There's not a beach at the resort. For the pictures it looks like there is a small beach, but it’s in fact swampy water. So, everyone stays at one of the various pools spread in the property.

Mahina breakfast staff (not all) were extremely terrible. Extreme wait times, incorrect orders and zero follow up, not properly run at all and would not recommend. Dinner staff much much better

The management service is really bad. The most important thing was to have a little beach area which it does not, it all mold not real sand…….the only good thing about this hotel is that all rooms are really clean and they all face the ocean. I will never go back to that hotel

The property is beautiful. The balcony of the rooms was one of my favorite spots. I was happy with a top level room because on the first floor, everyone walks past your porch to get to the pools, beach bar, etc. There are several pools and ample lounge chairs. Parking can be a bit of an issue with no solutions provided from the front desk. It was very nice, but not sure it’s worth the extra expense compared to other resorts in the area.

I had a bad experience. I left my sunglasses in the room and when I called to let them know they told me that I had to make a claim after 6 days I called the hotel to see if they had a response and they told me that they had not found anything in the room and I am super safe that is. and they stayed in the room

Their star rating is 5 but this felt like a 3.5 at best. The property grounds are very beautiful but service was never good at beach, restaurant, cafe, etc. Room entrances on back side of hotel give old motel vibes. Was expecting different for $700/night. Had to call to get robes/slippers in room. Have to get own ice from 2nd floor. Room was clean and comfortable but this spot is definitely missing some 5-star elements--like good room service, valet parking, etc. Spa service was great. I wouldn't stay here again for the price.

Price is too high per night, they have a beach where literally you can’t use because of the jellyfish and is not deep enough for adults water reach up to your knees. Property doesn’t have any close place to park they have their own parking area and they charge you $28 per night even that they already charged for resort fee, others fees, plus the super expensive price for the night. Amenities are adequate for people looking to relax but not to have fun is too quiet. Umbrella’s at the pools are down on the floor, people were looking for some employee for help to open it because it was too hard to open by your self, waiting long time to get the help. All pools are far from the main restaurant or club to get a drink or food, prices at the marketplace were crazy too high. Room was great clan and confortable room balcony and view was great. Food was average nothing yummy….

This was so nice and relaxing. Everyone was very nice and the place was clean every where. Perfect place to relax and just put your phone down and enjoy. I wish the beach access was a little more than what they had to offer, that is the only downside.

Gorgeous resort.. great experience at Isla Bella resort.. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. I went with my wife and two kids and kids loved it too. They have activities for kids every hour during the day. The room are very spacious and super clean, and every single room has a balcony with nice and comfy furniture and beautiful views. Isla Bella is a perfect getaway for any occasion.
