An amazing place to stay in Keswick. Amenities were of very good quality and as expected, room was cosy but very quiet and comfortable. It is a double bed. Check in via mobile was very easy and instructions clear and easy. A great place to walk around the town. Many thanks

In 8 weeks of travelling Europe, Ireland & UK this was our worst experience. Unfriendly host. Although we booked B&B, because we had not prebooked our breakfast, this became an issue and breakfast had to be specially prepared. We were told we were sent an email telling us to preorder - we were travelling and do not check emails every day. We asked for Strawberry jam and were told it was for sale! later host relented and gave us free jam. Tiny room, uncomfortable bed. We were not expecting hotel accommodation, but having stayed in guest houses & B&B's many times, this was a disappointing experience. Not recommended.

Great location, 5 minute slow walk into Keswick centre. Beautifully decorated and clean B&B with really friendly owners. Loads of choice at breakfast with a really easy online order form. We had a self check in during our stay due to the owners having a family emergency but this was incredibly easy and hassle free. Bed was comfy if not a little bouncy which did impact my sleep everyime my partner rolled over. The ensuite shower was lovely and hot and powerful. Would definitely recommended this B&B to others and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Keswick.

I have stayed in many B&Bs but rarely seen one as well organised and equipped as this one. Immaculately clean and vast amounts of info including daily weather reports on display. Small but a perfect gem. Lovely family run place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Greystoke House and felt really welcome. The location is ideal for Keswick and its just a 5min walk away from town. The room was really comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay and the breakfast was excellent and there was lots of options to choose from when ordering. We will definetly stay here again when we come back to the area

Lovely room with a hot powerful shower, dog friendly. Breakfast ordering was easy to use and a good idea so you can order exactly what you want,when you want it. . There was an option to have a takeaway breakfast which was ready at the time requested. The owners were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Great location, great facilities. Shower was beautiful, room included everything we could’ve needed, lots of plug sockets and they’re the ones that have a USB so multifunctional. Staff very friendly, gave helpful recommendations for places to eat. The room was a little small and we had to choose what we wanted for breakfast both days on arrival, which wasn’t ideal but didn’t cause any issues. The breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely b&b, great location for keswick and surrounding area. Service was fab and breakfasts very tasty. Room was nice and comfortable, but could hear all the other toilets and water use from one of the surrounding rooms which was a bit noisy on occasion! Shower pressure was excellent for such a small shower! Felt super happy with the bike storage situation.

Stayed for three nights as couples over a busy bank holiday Great friendly hosts, wonderful breakfast and very efficient systems in place for WiFi, breakfast orders, check-in, etc. Bed comfortable, in fact probably the best guest house bed we've ever tried. Quiet, good location and lots of space on the local streets for parking. Good recommendations for bers in town too. Will return.

Amazing. Warmly welcomed on arrival, the room was high quality and spotless, the breakfast was fantastic with loads of choices, free parking on street and only two mins walk from the centre of town. We'll be back.

Lovely clean b and b in a great location. The room was comfortable and a good size. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and stocked well with little bits you might need (shower cap, glassware, air fresheners, soaps ect) breakfast was lovely and takeaway option available which was good so I didn’t have to leave my dog alone. Very friendly owners. Easy to check in and order breakfast all can be done on your phone. Close to the park and shops but nice and quiet.

Great find comfortable room, bit of a hike to the shower but worth it. I have stayed in a lot of b and b in Keswick and this was the best shower by far. Breakfast really good and you can even buy the jams. Would love to stay again.

Very welcoming, nice breakfast with a good choice of items available to be ordered. When we visited it was very cold outside and the room did not stay warm during the night, but otherwise it was comfortable. We found on-street parking nearby easily enough. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk to the centre.

Jon and Emma are fabulous hosts. Breakfast was really tasty. Keswick town center for shopping and evening meals are nearby along with parks for walking the dog. Highly recommend!

John and Emma run the inn as if they are opening their home to friends, which is just the case. I stayed 4 nights and felt warmly welcome.

We did not check in as the room was tiny - thus should be advertised as a SMALL DOUBLE room felt we were mis-led and given we had a dog she could not turn around ! I believe I should be refunded!

Our stay at Greystoke was excellent and we would definitely recommend it to other people. Jon and Emma were extremely hospitable and friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfasts were also excellents and should we return to Keswick we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Set in a good location, Greystoke is a very smart but welcoming residence. Our room was so fresh and the bed beautifully comfortable. I’d be more than happy to have that shower at my house! We had the full English on both mornings which was convenient to order using their QR code. Absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. The self service cereals were from a very high end producer, I actually took a photo of the box I was so impressed!! Jon & Emma are a delightful and really friendly couple. They have obviously worked hard to achieve an atmosphere that people will want to return to. We certainly will!

Having traveling into Keswick And the Lake District for the first time from East Anglia, the Greystoke House was a welcomed respite from hours of hiking with our pup. We loved that we were a 4 minute walk into a nearby park to walk the dog, the old town for the Saturday Market and restaurants; and could leave for hikes from the B&B as it’s super close to the trails. The charge for dogs is only £10/stay and they have towels to clean off your pup as you come into the B&B. Between the beautiful, large room with ample natural lighting to ridiculously comfortable bedding (and I’m quite the bedding snob, just sayin), and the delightful breakfast; I’m not sure it gets much better than this! Jon and Emma were the perfect hosts, so welcoming, friendly, accommodating, and our room was always clean and well stocked with coffee and biscuits. You’d never know they also live here with their family, it’s so quiet; as is the neighborhood in general. I especially loved the window seating area which was perfect for morning coffee or afternoon tea.We have visited immediately after the opening of the country after COVID restrictions and are happy to share that the owners are taking every precaution, and then some extras to ensure visitor safety. At no point during our stay did we feel our health and wellness was in jeopardy. Can’t wait to return to Keswick now that we have our go-to B&B sorted.
