Carmel and Martin were such wonderful hosts and it was like home away from home for me - so welcoming and hospitable and the home cooking was delicious. I’d strongly recommend it to others.
The property was fine but the narrow road leading it was terrible.

Doolin Sunset was just what we needed after a long day of traveling. We felt very comfortable in our room, plus the scenery was beautiful. The hosts were also very hospitable. A big thanks to Martin for giving us a tour of the area and for driving us to our destination. We definitely recommend Doolin Sunset for anyone visiting the area/areas nearby.

Full breakfast cooked to your preference. Quiet rural location, but still only a short drive to town. Very friendly hosts with plenty of conversation.
There isn't any sitting area outside of your room.

Located about 13 minutes drive from Doolin. Very friendly owner. Small breakfast, but with fresh eggs from their farm.
Towels weren't soft.

Absolutely nothing. Worst accommodation I have ever had, and I am a 70 year old that is well traveled
When you walk in the main side entrance, you fear falling thru the floor that actually sinks down over a quarter of an inch. Very cheaply built home that looks like it was built with only a manual saw and hammer. Cheapest construction materials possible. A few tea bags in room, but no cups. No glasses at all. Old linens. Horrible worn out mattress. No soap except bath wash in shower. We couldn’t ask for anything because host left immediately after showing us our room and was never seen again. Picture of property is extremely misleading. To the left side yard is a junk yard that backed up to our bedroom window. Piles of concrete blocks, scrap lumber, an old unusable trailer and general trash everywhere. It was truly a white trash accommodation that should be taken off the market. It definitely clouded my opinion of ever using Booking.com again.

Location was well away from everything and we had a lovely peaceful stay in the countryside, which was as I had planned. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Out hosts were lovely and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats over breakfast.
It was how I expected although we did take a few turns to find it, but that may have just been us !

I loved the friendliness of Carmel and Martin. From the moment I arrived they made me feel at home. They suggested places to visit and walk around as well as pubs I could go to.
The room was clean, spacious and warm. I loved the views from my window to the Cliffs of Moher. Breakfast was exceptional.
I will certainly stay again if I am back in Doolin.
Thanks so much to you both!

The hosts, Martin and Carmel, took a special interest in ensuring we were comfortable and had all the information we needed about the locale and our travels. The breakfast with eggs from their own hens and fresh homemade scones with excellent jellies was an extra treat. The room was comfortable and exceedingly clean. It is really nice when the hosts take pride in their hospitality.

The hosts are friendly and interested. They give tips and information.
The photos do not really correspond to reality. The rooms are ok everything else is a bit chaotic.

Friendly hosts,
comfortable beds, large bathroom, good and filling breakfast included.
Very little water pressure made showering difficult.
Can hear other guests talking at night.

It’s a warm, comfortable farmhouse with lots of rooms and the open-hearted hospitality of Carmen and Martin, who can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and at home. Chickens, bunnies and a peacock strut around the yard, and the view from farmlands to the sea is so vast no camera can do it justice. Highly recommended, especially for families and for people who want to experience the rhythms and kindliness of daily life in rural Ireland.
