We had the Riverview 1st floor. Slider onto private terrace with seats and table. Short walk to outdoor 3 foot deep pool, floating docks restaurant bar, beach, Indoor pool 6 foot deep, 2 areas for kids. Only negatives- 7 channel non cable tv. And no assigned parking spots.

Room was dated. No microwave in kitchen area. Bathroom sink clogged.

The staff was extremely friendly and responsive.

This was perfect for a quiet girls' weekend where we didn't want to shop or go out; but there are lots options of things to do within a short drive.
Meals were exquisite and not too large.

Perfect location at 8 minutes in car from Gananoque. The hotel needs to be renovated but the site is absolutely splendid! I stay only night but I recommend.

Larry was super pleasant when we checked in, the room was very clean, the area is beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The kids swam in the outdoor pool during the afternoon and the indoor pool in the evening. We also had fun using the peddle boat. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff were so nice and helpful. The room wasn’t spectacular but it was clean and comfortable and to be honest we really only were in it to sleep. Definitely recommend the resort and would advise to get a river view room if staying here. I’m sure we’ll be back again next summer.

Nice resort good distance to Gananoque, Rockport and several good walking trails (Landons Bay, Jones Creek, etc.). Facilities were good but wished there had been a fire pit/ barbecues for guest use and that canoes/kayaks were free to use. Be warned that internet was iffy at best.
Main building and grounds were was nice and well equipped. Room was big, but a bit tired-- could use some freshening and a deep clean (looked like smeared bug on the ceiling above the beds).
The staff were either super friendly and helpful or rude and standoffish. Restaurants were disappointing (droopy undercooked fries, jar-tasting pasta sauce, etc.) especially given the prices and lack of other walkable options.
I would stay again, but think I would try and get a cottage instead of a room as they looked nicer.

The property is beautiful , on the river. We got an early check in which was great. Close to a town for dining if you chose. Great value. Thanks.

Very good location. Restaurant needs more choices but overall the place was awesome

Overall the stay was good, the view from our room was great. The restaurant was way over priced for the quality of the food and was understaffed and extremely noisy. No campfired and no BBQ's on site was a bit of a disappointment.

Loved the game room and options for the kids. Maybe The food options can improve

The property has a lot of accomodation but the rooms are spread out so that the place never feels very busy, even when full. They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a small beach. Service was great, will definitely return!

The resort is situated in a great spot on the St Lawrence but it is a little tired. Serving staff were not the friendliest in the restaurant and the food was not great. Dried eggs at the buffet and very tasteless coffee....just colored water. One bright spot is the outstanding golf course across the road....Smugglers Glen

The room we had was very spacious, a little dated but very cozy, quiet, nice and clean! Beds were comfortable. Two bathrooms was excellent for two couples. SUPERBE view!
Although we only spent 1 night, it was the best night of our travel week! Could have easily spent many more days admiring the view!
Thank you for the nice stay! We have already promoted to family and friends

My wife and I had a GREAT time at Glen House Resort celebrating our wedding anniversary. Here are a couple things we noticed that will hopefully assist you in making it an even better stay! It’s an older property and when we arrived, you could see updating had taken place in the rooms to some extent. Bathrooms were very nicely updated. Water pressure was a little low. Carpets need to be replaced in rooms. TV was adequate but only 5 channels to choose from. Dining area was ok. We had dinner and breakfast here. Reservations person during dinner was seated behind desk and working on laptop computer and didn’t acknowledge us until I said something. She was doing receipts the next morning and we felt like we “bothered” her. Our waitress was wonderful for dinner. Breakfast was non existent. Food was good not great. View was really nice. Overall I would give a 7/10. The geese were a major turn off. Could not walk the grounds very well with stepping on Goose poop. We would definitely consider coming back but it might not be our first choice the next time with out any improvements.

Very nice and convenient place! I really like it.

Fantastic, spacious room facing the waters edge. Ample parking. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. TV needed a software update so a pop-up constantly blocked the TV program. Dining experience was disappointing but hopefully will be resolved on our next visit based on communication from the dining room manager. All in all, a great place to stay when you're in the vicinity of Gananoque.

Great place to spend an evening on the St Lawrence River watching the sun go down from one of the patios in front of the rooms. Wonderful old River charm in the main lodge with memories of times gone by on a property that has been a summer resort in the Thousand Islands for generations. Dinner in the lounge or dining room is a treat - right in the river with a view that is stunning. Great gem as a place in the Thousand Islands to be immersed in river life and feel part of cottage life.

I love the areas. The Jacuzzi, Sauna, our room view.
I didnt like that the they lost power for a couple of hours and we were not offered a discount or a coupon for another time.
If I was running the place, I would have made sure that my clients had a compensation for the power interruptions. Giving them a voucher for next time visit. Or giving them a breakfeast voucher ...

Room was ok, mattress was comfortable which is a big factor for us who suffer from back pain. The room was dusty just general clean done. Had cob webs and the carpet was not a pleasant smell. Could use a shampoo since the resort comes across older. Has a restaurant closes early, wifi poor service. Overall ok rated a 3 because of overall clean in room not good.

It's a beautiful place - serene and calm. It was our last stop on our week long trip, and it was the perfect place to just wind down.
