Right in the heart of Jaco. Beach & restaurants are right there. Swimming pool. Staff was relaxed & 24/7. Only issue was breakfast. Ham & cheese panini &juice every morning No choices. The best breakfast restaurant in Costa Rica is next door.

Really liked the location and place was clean. Jose was a big help and super informational at the front desk. We were able to ask questions and get information from him. The hotel itself was great. 3 minute walk to the beach. They have a pool and bar well kept and lawn games to play at night.

The price is too high and the service cannot keep up. Although it was the weekend, there were very few customers. The rooms on the first floor have windows but they cannot be opened, so they have to rely on air conditioning. I only stayed there for one night and the air conditioner broke. Suddenly there was a constant noise and I called the person on duty and asked him if I could change rooms as it was too loud. very scary. He said he needed to ask his boss or someone for instructions and left and never came back

Had a stopover in my way south. This cute little hotel is very close to the beach but far enough away from the bars I had a restful night. Staff was amazing have no clue what the negative reviews were about. Room was small but pretty with custom furnishings. My back feels great which is unusual for Costa Rica hotels. Has been recently remodel as evident by new floor to ceiling tiled bathroom with clean grout. Pillows were too firm for my neck but that was the ONLY minor complete. AC was silent and super cold.

First of all I am not someone who ever leaves reviews BUT the staff is Amazing! The rooms are super clean and such a gem in Jaco! I look forward to coming back again soon. I couldn’t be more happy with my stay and overall experience. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

They ripped us off. Stole from us. Kicked us out to the streets and refused to call the cops after being robbed and everything taken from us in front of there office. Never once cleaned our room. Charged our card without asking. List goes on. Will be filing on them. Would not stay there if it was free.

Very nice place right on the main strip in Jaco. It’s on the quieter side which was a plus (no nightclub right next door but plenty 2-3 min walking). Pool was nice and they even had cornhole and two levels of dining area. Roger provided the hands down best service we’ve ever gotten while traveling. If there was anything off, he would immediately take care of it. Wish the bar was more operational and there was music playing by the pool, but those are pretty minor things. Beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great. Would recommend Bird of Paradise

located very close to beach. 3 minute walk to beach. they had a bar but really was not open and they didn't have anything to order expect bear which was limited too. I did not find the staff too friendly. at check out, i felt i was treated like a crook as they had someone check to make sure we did not take any towels or anything else. i will not recommend this place or stay here again.

We loved staying there. Walking distance to the center of Jaco. The room and the bathroom were clean and in great conditions. They have a good pool. It has been the cleanest we have seen in our trip. I would recommend staying there if you want to stay in Jaco for a couple of days.

Good location. Located on the main strip about a block from the beach. Very basic hotel but is clean and staff is friendly. I was expecting VIP benefits that come with VIP Access but I was told my room was bigger which it looked just like a regular room and I received a bike rental for free. It didn’t feel like an upgrade.

This was the perfect option for us as best friends travelling to Jaco. From booking, to check in, to check out…we were very well looked after. Communication was excellent when arranging transportation or enquiring about the local area. The hotel felt like our own personal oasis, many times having the pool or our back patio all to ourselves. Even the other travellers we met there were super friendly and happy to be there too. I can’t say enough about the hard working staff, always smiling and eager to help. Daniel from the reception was an instant friend, with a warm and welcoming smile after a long day of travelling. The wonderful owners were on site for a part of our visit, and we had a blast talking and learning about their experiences too. Salt of the earth people that really care and appreciate your time spent there. Yes that’s you guys Paula, Tina and Chuck. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to come back to Bird of Paradise. Pura Vida 🙏

Nice hotel & clean however, the breakfast is not a true breakfast. It’s fruit and coffee. You need to pay for parking which is something you need to clearly read at the bottom. Towels for the pool are not free. You need to pay/for sale. You need to request room service as they don’t do daily cleaning service. Only when you check out they clean. Some of the staff were not friendly.

Was staying in Jaco for 2 days and this was spot was perfect. It’s right in the middle of pub and dining options. The rooms are a bit small but fine if you are solo traveler. Overall, a great option for a few days stay in Jaco.

The curtains didn't lock much light so when the sun comes up at 6:00 a.m. the room gets bright. Also at night they have bright lights outside the rooms and you can see them through the curtains. They had he makes outside the rooms which were very nice to lounge in

The hotel is very clean and the pool is meticulously maintained. I felt very safe in this property with a gated parking area and 24hr attendant at the entrance. I was very pleased with the location of the hotel as it had immediate access to the main road in Jaco and access to a multitude of dining options. The staff was so kind and were happy to accommodate any reasonable request. My only critique would be that the room is very small but it was comfortable and over all I greatly enjoyed my stay.

The rooms were very small. The property was safe and had locked gates where you could park which was nice. If you are only staying for a night this property is sufficient but anything longer you would want a larger space

The place was spotless, the staff were great, the pool was great, the a/c was excellent and in a good location. However, the room was on the smallish side with no where to hang clothes, wet towels etc
