Close to Atocha train station. You can hear the next door … it is ok for one night

For the price, the room is a little small but has decent shower space, kettle and fridge. No place to sit though except for some stairs. Limited place to hang clothes too. Very clean and quiet. A bit far from the main attractions but very close to the main train station.

This is the first time for us to use online check-in, it is a new and nice experience, and it works out good. The location is perfect for tourists like us. Highly recommended!!

Great location. Recommended!

Very nice place to stay. Right by the metro and train station. Walkable to the park. Room was next to underground parking, so it was a little loud but I slept well. Not good if you are not a sound sleeper. They had an elevator so you dont have to carry luggage upstairs. Cute coffee area available 10am-6pm.

Amazing place to stay. Rooms incredible, nice helpful staff. Location perfect.

The room is nice with decent size and well thought of amenities. The staff are extremely nice and friendly and they provide luggage storage which is a huge plus!
2.5
Amazing family stay in Madrid. The location is excellent, close to public transportation and many city attractions. The rooms were very clean and best of all the staff was very helpful. We checked in very late at night but the instructions provided for check in were very clear so checking in was a breeze. Will definitely choose to stay here whenever in Madrid.

Excellent location, comfortable beds very quiet (good sound proof), good parking suggestions nearby for a reasonable price

The staff was helpful. I was allowed to store my luggage in a locker hours before and after checking in and out. The room was very clean and well equipped (wifi, t.v., a.c.small fridge, hair dryer, toiletries, etc.).
The area is safe and convenient, close to the subway, train station, restaurants, museums, landmarks, supermarkets, and parks. It was slightly pricier than other hostels, but I was happy to choose it.

Everything was perfect, clean, nice, modern, great location
4.0
It’s a good and comfortable room in a building that you can access with a code number in a center location close to principal attractions in Madrid but it’s not a hotel, no reception, no personal staff…etc, that is not clear when you do the reservation…

Nice stay within walkable distance from Train Station Madrid Atocha

I liked the location most.

Great location near train station and museums. Lots of shopping and eating options nearby. Clean, neat, safe and quaint. Very satisfied for a small boutique hotel. Will stay there again!

This hotel is not a typical hotel but more like an airbnb. It’s located very conveniently next to the train station and metro station. There are minimal services but the rooms are very clean and new.

Pleasantly surprised at how clean and convenient Uma Suites was. Friendly and professional staff, convenient location. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Room was great. The sofa bed had a good mattress and was made for us upon arrival. It did feel like a mystery game going thru so many doors and codes to find the room.
Good location!

A very good chain hotel for tech savvy travelers. All contacts can be done online without seeing staff. It is very clean and quiet with double windows to block street noise. Close to train station and walkable to city attractions. A lot of eating choices nearby. Highly recommended.

Check in was more complicated than usual with multiple security codes. Room was small but neat and fronts along a main city street. (Was somewhat noisy at night as Madrid seemingly never sleeps) No maid service provided during multiple night stay. Close proximation and walking distance to many cultural sites and good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

Newly renovated rooms in a central location that can give you access to all city neighborhoods. Could be a tad more clean, but for a short stay is ok.

The rooms were really nice! Tea and coffee in the room with a kettle. There was only 1 tiny trash can in the room though, hich was in the bathroom.

Its located in a good spot, close to the main train station and easy walk to many places. Lots of food options around as well.

The hotel is in a great location, just steps from the Puerta Atocha station and with tons of food and shopping options. Finding the hotel was a challenge as the hotel name was nowhere to be seen. Once we located the main entrance, we had to get through what felt like a maze to find the room. The room itself was clean and somewhat comfortable, but overall the hotel could be made more welcoming.

The people are so kind and they let me in super early. Im so happy with my stay.

Excellent host. Building with an elevator is a plus. Close to the Atocha station. Short walk to the Airport Express Bus #203.

Rooms are smaller, older and less maintained than what is shown on photos. Access inside the building, then reaching to elevator than to the room again is a kind of challenge every time. Concept of self service hotel sounds nice, but the building and the surroundings are not structured around it. One more note for self service concept: if something happens to your cell phone after 18:00 (even ran out of charge), you can be in great trouble.

Limited accessibility to the reception desk. It opens 10:00-6:00, so if you arrive earlier, good luck to you! Coffee is served during these hours as well, not earlier in the morning when you really need it before you go out for the day. Rooms were not cleaned in our three night/three day stay. Location is impeccable, everything around you including even important museums and parks. This is not a hotel but a kind of a combination between AirBnB and motel.

This place was cozy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very clean and the room had nice lighting and atmosphere. One perk is that the tv had a setting to connect your device and cast your own streaming app. For us, that made the stay very enjoyable for coming back during siesta hours in the afternoon. My only real complaint (and this could be a deal breaker for some…) we were in room 14 and the mattress was abysmal. We could few all the springs. Comfortable pillows, large bed, awful mattress. It may just have been our room, I don’t know… but it may be worth requesting not to be put in room 14 in case it’s better in another room. We still managed to sleep ok and enjoyed our time in Madrid immensely, but please be aware of that. The other issue to be aware of is that the building is historic and is currently being refurbished. This was not a big deal to us and didn’t cause us any real discomfort because we understand the need for these types of things and it’s out of management’s control but the windows are partially obstructed by scaffolding. It’s been happening for a while and will probably go on for a good while.

We had a fantastic stay at Uma Suites! The room was spacious and tidy. Alongside this the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The location was great - it felt safe and was close to a beautiful park (El retiro Park). The reason it isn’t rated a 10 is only due to a weird smell in the bathroom that came and went (might be because of the pipes).

The room was very well adapted for a family of 4, and clean at all times. The location of this hotel is very convenient, very close to the bus stations and train stations, it feels safe to walk during the day and at night. We definitely will book at Uma suites again.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very convenient location to the train station, and clear access instructions were provided. The room was bigger than I expected.
The building is under construction, but there was no noise or disturbance while we were there.
