Everything was fine.It was a perfect stay.Bed was comfy.Breakfast was excellent. All staff were excellent. They are very helpful, always smiling.I would like to especially mention two of them:Mohammed Alaa-Zyad. They were very kind and helpful
Whenever I needed something they tried their best to solve the problem.Among others Nevin was also kind. One thing that impressed me the most was we had to chek-out at 2.00 a.m and asked for tomorrow's breakfast at 1:00 a.m and you may not believe me but they really prepared a full breakfast at as early as this hour!.I strongly recommend this Hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing. Very close to the Egyptian National Museum and other sights.
Khaled, the owner, is very helpful and offer you tours according to your wishes. I enjoyed the time there very much.

The receptionist Khalid and Nermin were super helpful and friendly. Khalid was very service oriented and very friendly and helpful at all times. He was always there ready to answer any questions or just have a nice conversation and share some laughter with the guests. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was just as great as the service they provide. Customer satisfaction and experience is their highest priority with no doubts.

If you are looking for an Authentic experience in Egypt, then this Hotel is your right place. The dekoration were nice and oriental.
The services are really good and affordable, all our requests were answered immediately with no delay and the Staff are very friendly and nice.
We stayed for 2 weeks, Mr. Khaled exchanged Money anytime we needed it against Market price. The Location of the Hotel was perfect for the places we planned to visited, taking in Consideration how big Cairo is.
The Entrance of the Building was spooky at first sight, wich made us doubt our decision but when you get out of the Elevator to Hotel you'll change your mind.
Noor, Odeh and the Cleaning Staff made us feel welcomed and at home.

Person X greeted and checked me in, already here I felt something was off. X overcharged me so I complained but I eventually let it go, I was tired after delayed flights etc.
X showed the room, gave me a bottle of water and showed me the minibar. I asked if all the water was free of charge and the response was: "Sure".
The shower couldn't hold an even temperature, going from cold to hot and back making it difficult to shower in a pleasant way and on that note, this wasn't a real bathroom.
There is a very busy street outside the window, constant car horns and what not and their window doesn't seal shut so it sounds like the traffic is inside the room.
When I asked about tours I felt the owner tried to upsell me, so I found a much cheaper provider my self. The owner showed up later, or rather jump attacked me in the corridor, pressuring me to accept 'anything', such as a drink or change room etc..
The woman working there is the only one that have a sense of service and very warm, thank you. And on that note, the laundry service was offered to be free by her.
X was the one checking me out, and now the water wasn't free, neither was the laundry... I had planned my cash flow to have enough to a taxi to airport so this was a very unpleasant surprise.
I was going to forgive and overlook all of this until person X tried to pressure me to give 10 in score for the review. So that is why this 'hotel' got seemingly high score I am afraid...

When I arrived to the hotel, it is nothing like the picture shown in expedia. First off, the street to the hotel reminds me something of a place where someone is hiding from the law. It was filthy and ghetto like. It was a walkup to the 2nd floor before taking a cramp elevator to the 3rd floor. The door did not lock properly from inside or out. The bathroom was divided by 2 pieces of plastic making it into a so called bathroom. Room was so small I could hardly walk from the bed to the bathroom without hitting the chairs. There were long strains of HAIRS on my bedsheets. Paints were peeling off the wall. It was a big deception from the advertisement of the hotel. Lastly, they charge me double the price for the covid test. I had to pay $182.00 USD. I don't understand how exceptional reviews were shown to this hotel with a 4.5 rating. I wouldn't even give it a 1. Very disappointed and felt scam getting a room in this hotel!

0/10 experience. Do not stay here.
The Location Hotel was an absolutely terrible stay.
I reported this property to Expedia because they do not take any covid-related precautions, and are lying about doing so on the property listing.
Upon arriving, the manager was extremely unpleasant, pushy, and harassed us when checking in.
He insisted on us taking our masks off. We politely refused, and he continued to insist that we must. He then sat us down for 20 minutes and lectured us about how COVID is a hoax, government propaganda, not real, nobody is getting sick, and he doesn't believe in it.
The manager then proceeded to insist we take off our masks to see if our faces match our passport (and made fun of our names), which is not a legal requirement or a requirement we faced at any other stay (hotel or Airbnb) in Cairo or anywhere in Egypt. He went on to explain he does this even with women guests wearing niqabs "to make sure they're not mistresses of the man checking in" and was totally disrespectful to Islamic practices.
We eventually checked in and decided to check out with the front desk to stay somewhere else within minutes. We even left the room paid for without asking for a refund to avoid more harassment.
Nonetheless, the manager made sure to come out and followed us all the way out of the hotel to the elevator, harassing us, asking what was wrong and demanding we tell him, and what we'll say in the review, and if we'll mention the COVID conversation.
Do not go.

The true definition of hospitality from the moment we walked in the door. Khaleed and staff welcomed us as if we were long time friends and provided us with activities that made our trip a once in a lifetime experience. Would return anytime.

You cheated me when you said its a hotel. Actually it's a very poor hostel. Its gust tow floors in very dirty building. No name or any sign at the entranc or at the street. Its look like illegal place (the entranc shown Jamaica hotel!). I canceled my stay and i lose my all money because of your classiication the place as a hotel.
