Proximity to Texas Tech is convenient, which is why we picked it ultimately in addition to value. Neighborhood wasn't great but parking lot was fenced. We walked into a clean lobby and wish that was the case when we walked in our room. Room had dog hair on the carpet, hair in the shower, and overall not clean. Also front desk staff throughout our stay was more interested in playing on their phone than assisting people. Will not stay again.

It was the perfect half-way point for our longer trip to Albuquerque. Free breakfast was greatly appreciated.

The water pressure at the sink was laughable. You had to move your hands around to catch the few water droplets as they fell. The lock was stiff. Once you swiped your key, you had to push very hard to get the door to open. The breakfast bar was OK. Good selection. This hotel was remodeled fairly recently, I believe. It does look very modern and clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful & went out of her way to get answers for me about the brand of beds. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. Our room was clean. The only problems were some crumbled grout in part of the bathroom floor & the sink enamel needed some repair. It was very quiet & comfortable.

Newer property. Spacious suite for 3 adults plus a dog. Quiet. Staff was warm and welcoming.

There were not any employees anywhere. When we came in the lobby we had to wait literally 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to greet and check us in. The room was clean, however there was not a hair dryer. When we came back to the hotel in the evening there was not a single staff member anywhere. There were 2 guests standing around wondering what to do because they wanted to purchase snacks. I also wanted to get a glass of wine but there was no one anywhere again. Usually there are complimentary water bottles on the front desk but there were not any last night. This hotel could have been better staffed/prepared considering it is TTU move in weekend.

We booked a double queen while driving up to Lubbock. It was orientation weekend and we got the last room at a good price. It was clean and relatively quiet for a hotel next to the highway. Skip the breakfast. Only one staff memeber when we arrived. She was doing double duty at the bar and the reception desk. She was fine all things considered.

This is a run of the mill hotel with limited staff, yet very friendly. Right next to the highway and close to Texas Tech campus and football stadium. So convenient but highway traffic is noisy.

There for a night to pick up child from Tech. Hotel is in a good location to the stadium and university. The pool was really cold and there is no hot tub. Everything else was good.

This was a nice hotel. We thought the library and outside space were really attractive. Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom had a few things that looked like they were overlooked in the cleaning process, but nothing too bad. The breakfast was good, although there were a few usual Hampton options that were missing, but we ate at end of the breakfast period, so they may have run out before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for my daughters orientation at Texas Tech. The location of the hotel was convenient to the University, only taking about a 5 minute drive. We were satisfied with the room, however after we arrived back to the room we noticed that the maids had not been through, but then my husband noticed that on the mirror it said that on stays longer than one night the room would be cleaned evey other day. The next day we leave in the morning around 8 and arrive back to the room around 2 in the afternoon and finally called down the the front desk asking to have somebody come clean the room as we were heading back out. They then told us that it was too late for them to send somebody up. We then we requested that some clean towels be brought up to the room which were also never deliver. We were there for 3 nights and the room was never serviced. Very disappointed and will definitely be staying at a different hotel as we travel to Lubbock these next four years
