The most charming hotel stay in quite some time. Having an entire cottage with a rustic sense yet modern fixtures was a delight. There were so many little, thoughtful touches that you would never expect but can completely appreciate. Highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect setting. Not only was the room beautiful and smelled AMAZING, but you could walk through the herb garden after dinner like we did, and the restaurant was spectacular. The picnic basket on the porch for breakfast might've been our favorite touch, but it's easily one of the cutest places I've stayed anywhere. 1000% will be back.

The Hill Country Herb Garden is a lovely property with peaceful surroundings. The cottages are nice and private but the platform bed did not offer a great deal of comfort. We were able to take advantage of the spa on our last day but having the spa and restaurant closed during much of our stay was a bummer.

We celebrated our 19th Wedding Anniversary this past weekend with a stay here and it was perfect! The cottages are charming and quaint, each with a porch and overhead fan. We stayed in one of the Cottages and it was perfectly decorated to match the site and had all the comforts you would want in a high end spa/retreat. The restaurant on site was super convenient for our first night, as we were tired and didn't want to head to Main Street. Dinner was delicious, service was quick, and we got some great suggestions for where to go the next day from Ophelia. We'll definitely be back!!

Our experience at the Hill Country Herb Garden was amazing. The peaceful and serene surroundings with the adorable individual cottages, complete with front porch rockers and swings, made for a fantastic anniversary getaway. We also loved the tasty breakfast that arrived at our front door in a quaint picnic basket. The restaurant was delightful with a very aesthetic decor and we happened to be visiting when they had a talented singer/guitarist that made for a perfect dining experience. My husband and I cannot wait to visit again.

Everyone was so helpful and polite. Very close to downtown like a minute drive. The landscape and restaurant are beautiful. The cottage was very lovely and the morning breakfast was great. We stayed with our toddler and she loved it. Already booking for a later date.

The room set up was awkward such as no nightstands. The chairs were situated under the TV so you could not see the screen. The reservation page showed breakfast included but does not state continental. There is a restaurant on premise, but it isn't open for breakfast. We are breakfast eaters, this was disappointing. The shower floor is rocks in cement which is very uncomfortable on the feet. There was no housekeeping the 2 day's we were there. The property is attractive but didn't live up to expectations much less the price.

The gardens and grounds are beautiful and the cottages are nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the bed was hard as a rock and the refrigerator in the room did not work well. No bedside nightstand to put your phone or coffee in the morning. The television did not work well. Disappointed for a high end lodging.

The Hotels. com rating survey is not working correctly or I would have completed all the categories. The facility is lovely. The cottages are great and provide a lot of privacy. The rockers and swing on the porch was a wonderful relaxing space. The bed and linens were uber comfortable. We did have issues initially with chek in, but Travis was able to work them out for us. We have never stayed here before, but we will definitely be back.

What a beautiful, cozy place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The swing on the porch as well as the rocking chairs were so nice I was able to sit outside and read until it got dark the day I arrived! Breakfast in the morning was such a nice delight. The chocolate croissant was so delicious! I felt very safe and even walked to my car late at night in the parking lot and I felt very safe. Will definitely stay here again. Oh, and I did try the restaurant on site and it was very yummy. Everybody was so nice. The staff was very very nice as well , like I said, I will be back!

The cabin was very comfortable and had all the modern conveniences. The property is beautiful and perfect for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the restaurant and the spa during our stay. Highly recommend! We will stay again!

Place is cute and very nice and clean. Close to town but not walkable like we thought it would be. It’s about a mile but there are no sidewalks. Still very convenient though. Restaurant is really good and we had good service by Bret and Bret! The only odd thing is the front desk is the same as the spa so I’m sure it’s awkward for clients walking out in their robes to guests checking in. Spa is lovely even though I didn’t book a service but will next time. Breakfast delivery basket is pretty good - fresh baked goods, fruit and yogurt. It would’ve been nicer to be able to get a nice carafe of coffee rather than using the Keurig in the room. Overall lovely property.

Honestly, the closest to perfect that we’ve had in years!! So charming and such a lovely location. The cottages are so beautiful, the bed isn’t the most comfy but this place made up for that crummy bed. Brett at the bar/restaurant was a joy to get to know. Excellent service, my massage with Lonnie was just what I needed, and we couldn’t leave home without the Spearmint soap. This will officially be an annual trip for us. I didn’t take any photos because I was living entirely in the moment. I miss a slower pace, this was just what we needed for our anniversary.

Everything was very clean. The only thing I noticed was one pillow case had what appeared to be make-up. Could have just been a stain but definitely did not use it. Other than that it is a locelt and peaceful place in town. Will definitely stay again.

The cottages are nice; the bed was very comfortable. However, the sitting area was not very inviting and had no real coffee table. For the price I would have expected to get a piece of bread with the salami in the basket. The coffee tasted terrible. No access to restaurant and/or bar. Overall great concept with the cottages but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Way too expensive for what one gets!!

The accommodations were awesome!! The breakfast basket placed at our door every morning were adorable!! Truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be going back again. Made our 1st Anniversary memorable with the romance package my husband surprised me with. It was beautiful and a lovely experience ❤️
