About this house rental

Ready for the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation? Our charming 1950s cabin, completely renovated with a modern twist, sits creekside with stunning views of Black Rock Mountain State Park. Best part? It’s just a short, 5-minute walk to all the action in Downtown Clayton—restaurants, shopping, breweries, and more!

At 820 sq ft, this cozy cabin has everything you need: two comfy queen bedrooms, a spacious kitchen for your culinary creations, and a living room made for kicking back. Relax on the back porch or creekside patio and listen to the soothing sounds of the creek. It’s like being in the forest, but you’re just feet from the road into town.

Why you’ll love it:

Outdoor adventures galore: Hiking, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, and more are all nearby!
Sunsets and hot tubs: Watch the sky turn colors over the mountain, then unwind in the hot tub after a stroll home from dinner in downtown.
Walkable convenience: No need to worry about parking—just walk downtown for dinner, drinks, or shopping.
A few things to keep in mind:

Kids: The cabin is close to the street (don’t worry, it’s a small, quiet road), so please keep an eye on little ones.
Pets: Sorry, no furry friends allowed.
Parties: This isn’t the place for a party, but it’s perfect for kicking back, sipping a drink by the fire, and soaking in the peace and quiet.
We’re just a short drive away, so if you need anything during your stay, give us a shout! We can’t wait for you to fall in love with Clayton—and our cabin—as much as we did. 🌲✨

If you’re thinking too good to be true, you’re only 1/2 right - this place is great and is true! Just as advertised - on side road that leads to town (650 steps to Currahee Brewing) and about 500 more steps to Main Street of town with all the shops and restaurants. Plenty of great hiking nearby - Black Rock state park & Foxfire 10 minutes away plus other trails in War Woman area. About 15 minutes to Tallulah Gorge and must-visit Tallulah 1882 cafe. We loved relaxing on the front porch when it rained, and enjoyed evenings by the fire pit after a hot tub dip. The kitchen is well equipped and home very clean. Will absolutely be back!

The property was very well kept. Very clean. Decorated nicely. The only downside was no coffee maker. But luckily there are many places to get a coffee early in the am nearby

The property was as described and the owner was very responsive. The cabin was so cute and relaxing on the creek. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the sound of water and soaking in the hot tub. It is within easy walking distance to the local brewery and downtown restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a delightful weekend at Creekside Cabin. Even though you are a short walk from downtown Clayton the cabin sits by itself on a quiet street. We enjoyed morning coffee listening to the sounds of the stream. At night we sat by the fire pit and again enjoyed hearing the creek tumbling over the rocks. The only time we drove anywhere was to Tiger Vineyards and that was 5 minutes away. We walked everywhere else because it was so close. The cabin is comfortable is well stocked with all the essentials. The owner is very helpful and great to work with as well. We can't wait to go back!

Cabin is walking distance to charming downtown, yet nestled off by itself in a nest of wooded area by a stream. Hot tub on the deck was pretty big and clean. Jets were awesome on it! There are strings of Edison type bulbs everywhere outside, so it is well lit. Chairs and fire pit are down by the river as well a hammock. Kitchen was well stocked and beds comfy. Host thought of everything for our stay!
