Very nice apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Only a few blocks from the train station in a quiet non-touristy neighborhood. Once on the train you can get anywhere in the area. Windows/sliding doors with screens so could get good ventilation (a/c also provided). Host quickly responded to my questions.
No elevator (but we knew that going in and only a problem on luggage day!)

The location was fine for what we needed. Close to all transport..the room was on the 3rd floor but the steps were easy and part of our excersise.. The room was small and clean. The cooking facilites were minimal but adequate. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom. Good hot water and pressure. Eating close by.
Size but you get what you pay for. Hotplate could be updated and include a microwave.

受験目的の会場に近かった。部屋は清潔で、必要な物が一通り揃っているので家にいるようにリラックスできた。
悪天候の中、結構急な屋根なしの外階段をスーツケースを持って4階までのぼるのが怖かった。

The apartment was cozy.
Had all equipment that was needed for a solo traveler.
Amenities were decent.
The neighborhood may not be the one you would choose for travel in Tokyo, but it was surprisingly lively, with a variety of great restaurants, bars, and close public transport.
The host was very responsive.
Generally, the place was quiet, but it was close to a karaoke bar, and weekend evenings and nights were pretty loud - not a problem for me but it may be for some.

The host is very reactive and speaks in english, it's nice. We had a lot of informations.
Indications to access the appartement were very clear.
It is located near the train station, which is essential when sightseeing.
Has 2 climatisation.
It would have been good to have a small explaination sheet on how to use the gas cooker.
From where I come from, we only use electrical cooker so we had to find the manual online in japanese and translate it in english.

This is a nice comfortable, quite spacious, flat in Kanamachi, Tokyo, which was a relaxing place to come back to at the end of a busy day sightseeing in Tokyo. The host was really helpful and easy to contact (she went out of her way to make sure we could get into the flat easily - thankfully, as we'd had an awful journey), and there is good wifi at the flat. We were particularly grateful for the effective air-con and a fridge to keep some cold drinks in. It was a good way to start our holiday, as I liked that we were in a small flat together (ie partner and I plus two teenage sons) rather than a hotel.
The boys had single futons in a raised area, just off the living space, which could be completely closed off with blinds, while we had a separate bedroom. The living area included a table with room for 4, a television, fridge, rice cooker, hob, kettle, etc. We didn't cook while there, partly because it would have been difficult to gather all the things we'd need for cooking a proper meal, but the kitchen was useful for occasional snacks from the local Family Mart.
The thing I was most concerned about when booking the flat was whether the area would be too far out from the centre of Tokyo, and how easy it would be to get back there. In fact, it was a great area and I loved staying in a 'real' neighbourhood. It is really close to Kanamachi JR train / subway station. You can use local train services using a JR Rail Pass, or you can touch in and out at the station with an IC card (like Suica). Our travel app helped us to find some routes that were fully JR lines, but the route is really well connected with the subway, so you can get anywhere you need to. The trains run every few minutes during the day; maybe up to 5 - 10 minutes apart later on.
And I loved the neighbourhood around the flat. Just 50 m or so from the door, we found a lovely local cafe with a simple range of noodle dishes, and there were many more options.

Good location - about 5min walk from Kanamachi Station, close to some nice food places and a big supermarket Tokyo.
Room has everything you need, and you can also dry clothes with heating function in the bathroom. Wardrobe is a good size and can fit a decent amount of luggage
To get into the rooms there is only stair access so be aware if you have a lot of luggage.

Good location, nice AC, washing machine, a lot of space
It was quite hot in the bathroom
Only 3 devices can be on at the same time

I like that the home/ room was big for my kids.
Enough beddings
Location is way off Tokyo, more outskirts . And felt that we overpaid for that location.
Unit is on the 4th floor and we have to climb stairs daily.

Clean facilities, convenient location, kind and helpful staff.
The neighborhood becomes a little noisy in the night
7.0
The heating was effective, the laundry process (machine, hangers, place to hang), good hangout place around the kitchen, good location (near station, food and drink places), quiet neighborhood, spacious room.
Only 1 bedroom, although the house is very spacious. So no issues but not really 2 bedrooms available.
The photos didn't show the stairs we had to climb to highest apartment with the luggages. No elevator.
