We had 9 women for a girls trip and loved the cabin! So cozy and private!! The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking.

I choose this property due to the ratings of other guests. I wanted a great place to stay and make memories with our kids-rain or shine- since we booked so far in advance. When we arrived (late at night) the lighting in the mountain slope to this hope was very difficult to navigate. When we entered, I was excited, but when we went to take a seat on the sofa we all sank to the bottom of it. When the kids were trying to select rooms we realized the "sleeps 10" is far from accurate. My daughter actually ended up on the couch all but one night because the pullout was so uncomfortable, the flat couch wasn't much better. There were ants in every room. The vent when you go down stairs to the game room/bedroom/living space/laundry room area? FILTHY. I don't know when the home last had guests but that was disgusting. There was only really one functioning shower for all to use out of 3 options. The towels should have been replaced years ago, extremely threadbare. My family made the most of the stay. I was embarrassed that I fell for the reviews, quite honestly. Invest in a dehumidifier and replace the living room couch ASAP. The bed in the basement? I slept with my husband in there and felt like I was going to fall out each night. The bedroom upstairs? The whole house heard my sons bed creak every time he tossed and turned. I would not stay again. I rarely leave complaints like this, but here I am, home 2 days later, and still feel terrible that this is the home I choose for our family

Lots of room. No one was on top of each other. Hot tub was amazing after a long day of exploring the area. Fireplace was also nice at night to take the chill off. A few minor observations: cutlery is kind of a hodge podge as well as cookware, pots and pans etc .. One of the upstairs beds was very creaky and may keep a light sleeper awake. We swapped beds with another family member and problem solved. All in all we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

What a beautiful property. Secluded and serene. 8 of us stayed there for my son’s wedding quite comfortably. The house is tastefully decorated with local art you can buy from the property owner. I had my eye on one but ultimately didn’t get it. The property boasts two grills with on being a Blackstone griddle. I have one at home and absolutely love it so seeing there took me to my happy place. The cabin is very dog friendly which is important to us. We also hopped in the hot tub in spite of the very cold outside temps and enjoyed a relaxing time. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. The area is lovely as is the cabin.
