About this house rental

The Bayou Bungalow was designed and built by locally famous Carroll Ishee and is just a few blocks from East Beach and the Gulf Islands National Park. Cozy and private but close to all the fun you want in OSMS. The bungalow has a big wraparound porch surrounded by trees making it the perfect peaceful spot for morning coffee or cocktails after exploring the area.

Quiet and cozy bungalow on Ocean Springs. View and outdoor deck like being in the jungle, very private with birds galore! Easy walk to empty and beautiful East Beach. You’ll love it!

This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have stayed in. It's a great, simple design with everything you need to relax indoors and outside on the big covered deck overlooking bamboo plantings. It's very private though located in a traditional neighborhood. Close to East Beach. Everything you might need is provided. Look forward to returning.

We spent a week at this charming bungalow. It was just as pictured and very clean. The bedroom and living/dining room are spacious and light. The furnishings are comfortable and there is ample storage in all the rooms for an extended stay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is just a short drive to the beach and the downtown shops and restaurants. Since it is nestled into a wooded lot it doesn’t even feel like you’re in a residential area. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

The property was exactly as described. We loved the deck facing the trees. Everything we needed was provided. Ocean Springs has a cute downtown with shops and restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay. Try The Shed for great BBQ!

It’s a great little bungalow for a couple. We had a teenager with us and there wasn’t really a place for him to sleep or extra linens. But it’s a cute place. We loved the back porch. We would come back again without any kids.

We had a fantastic time here celebrating our anniversary together with our little one. The hosts were top notch. On our stay we talked about how cool it would be to build something like it for our own. The area is lively with no shortage of things to do. We just were short on time. We will most certainly be back.

We had heard great things about Ocean Springs, and had an opportunity to stay here for 2 nights. The place was great for a couple with a small dog. Lots of areas to walk, and easy access to downtown! Nice location!

Loved the bungalow! It was the perfect location for taking walks, visiting the Davis National Bayou and a short, short drive to the East, Front and Biloxi Beaches! Had a great time. The spacious and well equipped bungalow is in a quiet location with an amazing deck! If you like nature, this bungalow is for you! Love it!

Great location! Walking distance to East Beach and Davis Bayou Natural Area. Ocean Springs is a cute little town that had everything we wanted for a short getaway. Good restaurants and shopping, and plenty of beach and nature. The bungalow was so cute and had everything we needed for our stay.

OS is a welcoming, dog-loving community, the bungalow was as well. The neighborhood is quiet and well-placed to sights, beaches and restaurants. Upon arriving we immediately knew we were on vacation. The decor is casual and eclectic. Every amenity was covered. Hoping to return, this bungalow is booked up tight.

We had a wonderful time. Place was clean, TV choices were great, easily accessible to all areas by car. We left information and maps of the area we collected. We enjoyed the walks in the nearby Nature Preserves and the art museums in town. Would suggest a grab bar on Tub one of those clip on kind, and maybe a rail down to the living room. Otherwise the place was great! We are 70+ and would have felt safe with that accommodation.

We would recommend Bungalow on the Bayou to friends and family for a low key getaway any time!! The hosts, Ashley and Stephen, were so friendly and accommodating. Loved the location, so close to everything we wanted to do and see. We will be back!!

Such a lovely, peaceful place to stay. The back of the house is wooded, and has a huge deck to sit and have your morning coffee. Bird watchers delight! Will definitely choose Bayou Bungalow as our go to when visiting Ocean Springs. Delightful!!
