About this docked boat rental
There's simply nothing else like it in Charleston!
300 yards down a private road and you're in the middle of the breathtaking marsh. Just you, dolphins, birds, the occasional kayaker...and of course this big sailing yacht.
The three well-appointed cabins, two bathrooms, a living area, and a modern galley, provide a comfortable stay, to be sure....but who's staying inside when you can spend time on the large dock - relaxing with a good book, grilling out, swimming with the dolphins, paddleboarding, kayaking, or even fishing one of the best spots in town!
This Blue Water Yacht spent most of its life sailing between California and Alaska, although she's been around the world twice. Her classic teak woodwork, comfortable layout, and modern amenities make for the perfect stationary getaway on the water.
Oh...did I mention you get to name her? That's right, we've painted the back of her hull with chalkboard paint, and we provide the chalk. So have a little fun and come up with a cool name!
The Yacht is on a very secluded dock just off the Folly River. This paradise is all yours for your entire stay. You can relax in the hammock or sit at the picnic table on the large pierhead overlooking the marsh. You can take one of the kayaks (we have 2 singles and 1 double) and paddle through the marsh exploring, go swimming, or try your luck fishing or crabbing from the dock. You can also enjoy a breathtaking sunrise and sunset - relax in the chairs on the dock, or up on the pierhead where you will always find a cool breeze.
There are other places you can stay while you're in Charleston, but none of them are like this. You will be staying three football fields away from the nearest house. Just a mile from a grocery store, liquor store, and even a Chinese place - but you won't even think about that stuff, because you're in the middle of a beautiful marsh enjoying the outdoor adventure you always dreamed about.
It is absolutely fine to invite guests to the dock to hang out while you're here. However, it is not fine to have a big party. You are also not allowed to just add additional people (over the 5 people you can book) to stay overnight unless you check with us in advance. You are welcome to trailer your personal boat down and put it in the water next to the dock (we have a ramp) then dock it on the same dock if you like. That makes it pretty easy to get up in the morning and go fishing. :)
We have spent over two years building this paradise on the water. We like to think we've created a unique place for people to relax and enjoy nature - and judging from the reviews, the people who have spent time with us agree!

Cooper could not have been any better! Great with Kids, full of fascinating facts about the yacht, flora, fauna, and the history of the area. Loved our time, wonderful spot to make memories with whole family.

This is my second stay on this amazing boat. With all there is to do in Charleston we still never wanted to leave the dock. This quiet place in the marshs around Folly Beach is a great way to unwind. I will be back many times again.

This stay was everything I expected and more. I could just step off the boat and be fishing in seconds. We caught 11 different kinds of fish and the crab pot yielded 8 stone crabs. We ate out at Bowen's Island Restaurant and the Crab Shack at Folly Beach both just a few miles away. We just had door dash bring us dinner our last night and sat out on the boat and enjoyed the surrounding salt marsh and river. There is no doubt I'll be staying there again on my next visit to Charleston. Best Stay Ever!!

Once in a lifetime experience in serene marsh with abounding wildlife. Yacht was beautifully appointed although staterooms are close quarters. Cooper was an amazing host, helping us fish, crab and kayak. We wont forget this trip!

My husband, son and I stayed on this wonderful and cozy boat and had the best time. Everything you need is right there as it has all the amenities of home and bonus snacks, wine and coffee provided. Not to mention the peaceful surroundings. We slept like hibernating bears in the cabin as the gentle current creating the perfect sensation for sleep. Such an adventurous place, highly recommend!

My family and i live in Charleston. We needed a time out and due to a busy life and constraints we opted for something in our area. This sail boat was the perfect place to slow down, catch our breath and remind us of the beautiful area in which we live. We are incredibly grateful for the ease of access/communication and amenities.
Thank you

Even though the weather did not cooperate our first day/night, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Check-in and check-out were super easy. The location was perfect! Gorgeous sunrise and sunset. We took the kayaks out and fished from the dock. Watched dolphins, egrets, herons and a HUGE pelican. Complete relaxation!

From day one of our stay Cooper was an awesome host. He met us as we arrived and showed us the boat, which is beautiful and comfortable. Kayaks, fishing poles, beach and bathroom towels and amenities all were laid out and available. The crab basket in the water and wine awaiting us was a pleasant surprise. Cooper was unintrusive yet available almost immediately with a simple text. All this and only 5 minutes from Folly Beach and 10 minutes from Charleston. This place is truly a hidden gem.

The location is exactly as advertised. Please keep in mind its a boat, its not huge. However, it has all the modern conveniences you would expect outside of cable TV.
Location is absolutely wonderful, 5 mins to folly beach, 10 mins into Charleston.
Cooper was very quick with any responses and met us the first day to show us around the boat.
would certainly do it again.... and hope for a little better weather :)

Cooper was the perfect host, and the views from every direction of this boat and dock were outstanding!
In addition to the unique experience of staying on a boat, Cooper also provided all of the little things that made our time there perfect! From beach towels and water shoes to snacks for the kids and wine for the parents, Cooper thought of everything!

I surprised my husband with this stay during our anniversary trip in the South. We visited North & South Carolina and Georgia, and of our entire visit, staying on this boat was THE HIGHLIGHT!! The entire stay and experience exceeded my expectation, and my husband didn't want to leave.
Agreeing wholeheartedly with the other Sept 2022 reviews, this secluded privacy in the middle of a beautiful marsh is unlike no other. The boat and interior is in pristine shape and extremely comfortable in all ways. The owner Cooper is also exactly as described and made our stay simply the BEST. He's not exaggerating--you will enjoy dolphins swimming mere yards from the dock and boat! I wish I was sitting back there on the dock now, sipping wine and enjoying the serenity.
Can't recommend this property enough, it simply can't be beat and you will be thrilled with your stay!!

This was a trip we had booked for our anniversary. Looking at pictures do not do it justice its beautifuli n person. Once we got to the dock we met the owner of the property "Cooper ". He met us and began to give us the history of the boat's surrounding area. The amount of effort he puts into making sure that his guest have the best time they could possibly have, and then some, is quite remarkable. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He even, at one point, had to go to the store and text to ask us if we needed anything while he was there. He also had flowers waiting for us and a bottle of bubbles to start our anniversary off right. There are not enough words to describe the wonderful weekend that we had. We will return time and time again. Being immersed in nature with such privacy was exactly what we needed and wanted. Thank you Cooper for the greatest possible anniversary! We have already sent several people your way.
❤- Scott and Suzie.

Wow! Just WOW! How do you even write a review that can even match up to such an amazing experience! If I could give a million stars I would!
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and given everything we needed from snacks and wine to a full blown lay out of absolutely everything we needed to feel at home immediately 🙌🏻
The convenience to park next to the dock was absolutely amazing and definitely made for some awesome sunrise and sunset pics!
It was like we had our very own island for the weekend…in the middle of this stunning marsh.
The hammock on the dock was incredible! I loved being able to lay in the breeze off the water and watch the dolphins and kayakers go by!
We can’t wait to go back and it was surely hard having to leave such a perfect little paradise!
Nothing quite like laying on a sailboat in the middle of the night watching the stars 🤩

I had booked this just a few days before arrival because I had an unexpected time off first in years. I wanted an adventure without really having to deal with an adventure, and let me tell you this property fits the bill perfectly. It gives the illusion of being away from everything and not actually being further than 7 min to grocery stores. If I could give Cooper 10 stars, in property management, he was the best host we have ever had. Fishing off the dock was amazing, I mean my trout was **this big**, my teens went kayaking several times, I caught stone crabs right by the boat. The thunderstorm that rocked the boat was loved by my daughter. My kids want me to book it again, they didn't watch tv once!!
