It was great overall. Towels and the shower curtain smelled bad. It seems that it wasn’t dried completely. With the humidity, it wasn’t helping. There are many restaurants and Starbucks Reserve right outside. The neighborhood was quiet, but the tenants next door were smoking weed.

We didn't park there, we ubered everywhere we went. This was a great spot! Right in the middle of a really nice nice part of Seattle. Walking distance to Pike place market. We were there for a convention center event. Super close to that too. Very convenient for Uber. Sonder is great, it was our first time staying in one and I would definitely use them again. Not like a traditional hotel but extremely communicative through text. And having washer dryer available to us was extremely convenient! Whenever we ran out of something, there was an amenities cabinet in the hallway. I wasn't sure from the pictures but there was a stove in the kitchen which was really great, we made almost all of our own meals. I highly highly recommend.

This is my first time staying at a Sonder property and it was a 10/10 experience! The room was similar to a studio apartment set up with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, and small families. The room was spotless, the bed was firm but soooo comfortable (I fell asleep straight away), and the windows were large with a great view of the city. Luggage storage is available on the second floor. I stored my carry on there because I arrived 4 hours before check in. Then used it again because my departing flight was 6 hours after check out. The rooftop has tons of seating, tables, a firepit, grill, and a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline. There's many close bus stops that go to the downtown area. Also, a bunch of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. This Sonder stay is located in a very convenient spot. Some people mentioned noise at nights I'm guessing since the property is next to the highway. Earplugs are provided but I never needed them. I did reach out to customer service through the Sonder app and they replied within 20 minutes on a Saturday. They were very helpful and friendly. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe! If this is the quality all properties provide, I will be staying at other Sonders in the future.

Everything about this rental was great. From booking and arrival to the services when we were there. Everything was provided and free. We made use of laundry facilities - all free. Laundry tabs were even provided. Everything was very clean and we had everything we could possibly need. We had an initial query when we arrived and it was answered on app within minutes. Fully recommend.

Well sorted room. At this apartment building, which is a block away from the Starbucks Reserve Roastery, Sonder occupies the 2nd and 3rd floor of an 8 story building. Very well organized electronic check in and doors. But you MUST lock your door behind you, it doesn’t automatically lock.

The place was really nice and clean! It’s not a traditional hotel where there’s a front desk. Check in was easy online. Parking was ok. I did need more towels, additional toilet paper and had to call the number provided. When they delivered it later I guess I could have just checked some supply closet? But I didn’t know that or saw that posted anywhere. Overall was a great place to stay a couple nights!

This is not in the greatest area in Seattle. Be aware that there is not a check in desk. They send an email that asks for you to upload you license, do a face recognition test - right on the street. When I got in, the code didn’t work. Still outside 25 mins later. Just be aware you need to complete the online check-in BEFORE you come. Otherwise you can do it on the street with all the locals.

I stayed here for three nights while on a business trip. The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was useful to make a light meal, but there is no cutting board for use. However, plates, pots/pans, cups and utensils are provided. The building has a secure entry and you need a code for the elevator as well, so I felt safe entering the building. The rooftop was a nice perk. It is loud because of the proximity to the freeway, however a white noise machine and ear plugs were provided. I didn’t have any issues falling asleep without them, but some may more sensitive to the sound. About five blocks to the light rail. Close to downtown but plenty of options near the building without having to go into downtown. I plan on staying here again for future business trips.

Happy with the room condition. Check in process was very confusing. There is no check in desk or staff. Everything is online but the email went to spam. No signage or instruction on the front door. They answered my call but the process required some code that sent to the email which also went to spam, but once I put the code, it did not go to the next step, so I had to call again. Internet was not working with the password posted inside the room. I did not bother to call again as I had unlimited data plan on my phone.

Loved the convenience of having the dishwasher, microwave, etc! Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged that within 2 minutes of your shower you were standing in a couple inches of water. Other than that very clean room, building and comfy bed. Shout out to the sound machine, without that it was so quiet in the room/building I couldn’t fall asleep. Would definitely stay again and look for Sonder in the next city we visit!

I was very impressed by Sonder! As a graduate student attending a week long conference, I was glad to have an option to go to a grocery store and cook in the unit. This property is located within walking distance of the Seattle Conference Center, Pike Place Market, and the Space Needle. Since it was so walkable, the savings on transportation was an added bonus!

This company has cut every corner and looked for every extra charge that they can hit you with. Please do not give them a penny of your money as this kind of business practice can't be condoned. I stay in hotels often for work and was absolutely flabbergasted by the practices they have. I booked knowing I would get there early but liked the area. They advertised a place to keep luggage before check in. The luggage area was just a few lockers that were all taken. There is no comfortable lobby to wait in nor a person at the desk to find a room that is ready early like absolutely every other hotel on the planet. If the room is done you should be able to check in but these guys want to charge extra for that and don't have staff so if your particular room isn't ready they can't find another. So I had to wait with my luggage dividing my time between the windy/rainy rooftop and an uncomfortable piece of exercise equipment FOR 4 HOURS! My complaints via chat on the app were absolutely frustrating. They would not remedy my problem which was caused by their not having adequate luggage storage for a place that had no early check-in! They did not offer to reduce or comp my room. They have permanently lost my business. They haven't updated their outlets and I also had to buy a $25 box to charge my devices. Just another frustration. I can only hope that more people will refuse to allow this profit-first mindset to continue.

They did not give me the suite that I booked and paid for and never remedied the situation. After endless phone calls, texts, emails, messaging through the app, in person conversations with staff several times over the past 11 days, they still have not compensated me for this problem and no one has followed up to offer resolution.

BIOMETRIC FACE SCAN REQUIRED FOR CHECK-IN AND RESERVATION CONFIRMATION. This was NOT listed as a requirement for check-in BEFORE booking on the listing. I went to cancel the reservation because I did not want to submit a face scan and the reservation was non-refundable. Know this ahead of time!!! Here is what the hotel info says before you make the reservation: "Special Instructions: There is no front desk at this property. Guests will be asked to provide the property with a copy of their government-issued photo ID before arrival. Guests planning to arrive outside of normal check-in hours will receive an email with check-in instructions and an access code. Guests can access their accommodation through a private entrance. " NO mention of a biometric face scan!!!!

The room was perfect for us, but we were told there was parking available in the building, which was not the case. We had a rental car, so we had to park on the street, sometimes having to "feed the meter" every two hours, which was inconvenient when the car was parked blocks away. It is true that after 10 PM, street parking is free, but in such a busy area, it was also very hard to find something close by. The uncertainty was stressful. I wish I had been told that parking is only available at this location for residents - I guess long-stay residents?? I'm still not entirely clear how that works....
