During your holiday you can admire the thousands of colours and many facets of the different seasons, relaxing comfortably outside your trullo, in the private shaded area. Available in the communal areas are: The swimming pool is in ground and is surrounded by cherry and olive trees. The corner of the pool with a rock garden is planted with flowers and a large palm. In the summer evenings you can relax around the swimming pool, enjoying an enchanting sunset, listening to the wind rustling the surrounding cherry trees under the moonlight. The pool also has wide comfortable steps for easy access and for sitting and an external shower carved out of rock. The dimensions of the pool are about 13 x 7 metres with a depth from 0.9 to 2.3 metres, excluding the steps. The flower garden and vegetable garden of the trullo represent and evoke the traditions and culture of Puglia. Rich in flowers, plants and shrubs among the olive, cherry, pear and prickly pear trees. The vegetable garden produces delicious seasonal, regional produce. The antique stone aia is a characteristic element of the trulli area and of the old masserie. Here, during the day under the scorching sun, they used to separate the grain from the ears of wheat and in the evenings the neighbours would come for parties and to dance. Today the chianche of the aia, greyed with time, are symbols of and testaments to the hard work and joy of life of this corner of Puglia. The communal shaded zones: the aia gazebo has an impressive dry-stone wall with a stone column and two antique animal troughs; the panoramic gazebo, near the pool and the tavern, enjoys an enchanting view of the Itria Valley. The barbecue is supplied with wood and everything else necessary to discover the pleasure of cooking over wood embers. The car park is inside the property so that the cars are secure and in the shade of our olive trees. The laundry is available to our guests; your clothes will be scented with Puglia! Our trulli are ideal for an unforgettable holiday, our guests are unique and inimitable: here are some photos sent to us directly from them! Our residence was an old trullo farm constructed at the beginning of the 1800s. Today, after a long and meticulous reconstruction, it offers our guests a unique stay in four authentic trullo houses. Each trullo house is a small apartment made of stone and consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and one or two independent bedrooms. Also each trullo has its own patio equipped with table and chairs to enable you to relax comfortably outside. We welcome domestic animals, free Wi-Fi internet is available, and there is a car park inside the gates, the use of a communal laundry and other communal zones among which is our splendid swimming pool. Trullo 1 (Trullo house with one bedroom) This trullo has its entrance on the west side of the building which faces the swimming pool. It is suitable for two people or a family with a child as there is the possibility to have a divan bed in the living room or in the bedroom. The living room has a splendid typical stone floor. The trullo also consists of: a good sized bathroom, furnished in arte povera, with a shower; the kitchen is equipped with 4 gas rings, electric oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots and pans, moka coffee maker, kettle for tea, refrigerator with freezer and much more; the bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe and has the largest trullo cone of the building; satellite TV, a collection of international books to exchange, a shaded and private outside area with a wooden table and chairs. Trullo 2 (Trullo house with one bedroom) The trullo faces the principle entrance of the structure, to the east, with the large aia in old stone, the gazebo and the wood oven. The trullo is suitable for two people or a family with one or two children. It has a large living room with a loft made of antique wood and a typical floor of local stone. In the sitting room are two divan beds and a dining table and chairs. The trullo also consists of: a good sized bathroom, furnished in arte povera, with a shower; the kitchen is equipped with 4 gas rings, electric oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots and pans, moka coffee maker, kettle for tea, refrigerator with freezer and much more. And also there is a wood-burning fireplace in stone; the bedroom with double bed, a wardrobe in the wall is a splendid room with a star vaulted ceiling; satellite TV; a collection of international books to exchange; a shaded and private outside area with a wooden table and chairs. Trullo 3 (Trullo house with two bedrooms) The Trullo degli Archi is considered to be the most beautiful trullo by many of our guests: its charm is that it is enclosed in seven stone arches that support the house and its trulli and the wood-burning fireplace that dominates the sitting room. It is suitable for four people with the double bedroom, with built-in wardrobe, and the alcove, by the fireplace, with a double bed or two single beds. The trullo also consists of: a good sized bathroom, furnished in arte povera, with a shower; the kitchen is equipped with 4 gas rings, electric oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots and pans, moka coffee maker, kettle for tea, refrigerator with freezer and much more; satellite TV; a collection of international books to exchange; a shaded and private outside area with a wooden table and chairs. Trullo 4 (Trullo house with two bedrooms) This trullo is the biggest of the complex and can accommodate up to six people and is ideal for a family with three children. The trullo, of about 60 square metres, has an entrance at the back and the front of the complex. The trullo also consists of: a good sized bathroom, furnished in arte povera, with a shower; the kitchen is equipped with 4 gas rings, electric oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots and pans, moka coffee maker, kettle for tea, refrigerator with freezer and much more; the living room with old stone floor, table and seats from which you enter the two bedrooms and the bathroom; the larger bedroom, with wardrobe, has a double bed or three single beds; the smaller double bedroom is in a little trullo which you enter through a very old and original arch. Further the trullo has: satellite TV; a collection of international books to exchange; a shaded and private outside area with a wooden table and chairs.
