Villa Anelide is a pearl set in the enchanting site of Praiano.

The location is exceptional; in fact Praiano lies halfway between Positano and Amalfi.

The villa was beautiful. The scenery every day from the spacious patio was amaxing. We enjoyed the figs, lemons and limes that we picked each day. An excellent location for getting to most areas along the Amalfi coast.
Each day, we walked down the 130 steps to the dock with water taxis, restaurants and the beach, which we loved. We spent a lot of time there after taking the water taxis to different areas most days. The heat in August was brutal. The humidity made it difficult to walk around since everything is uphill with hundreds of stairs to climb. I would never go again in the summer, but Sept./Oct. would be perfect. Mr. Gerry, the property manager was a pleasure to deal with. He was there a few times during our 2 week stay to water all of the plants and check the pool and ask us if everything was alright. His tips were very helpful. If you are considering this villa, book it. You will not be disappointed.

Review
The pool is covered in green algae and smells like rotten eggs.
This is what we were greeted with on arrival! It was disgusting!
The property manager and owners said it was ok. We had to argue with them endlessly to fix it and after 3 days they finally scrubbed the algae off and cleaned the pool.
We understand that problems happen (apologize fix it and move on) but these guys were in denial, aggressive rude and unapologetic (even after they came and fixed it)
The villa is quite nice and the location is ok if you don’t mind 3 inch lizards in your bed and luggage plus ants ants ants everywhere.
The property is quite isolated (which we like) If you want get to Positano and Amalfi, it’s expensive (unless you want to sit in an over crowded smelly SITA bus)
The past reviews have been good but now the property is not cared for or looked after and the owners and manager obviously don’t care.
We have stayed at similar priced properties in the same area that are far better and the hosts and owners more caring and attentive.

A gorgeous condo with a better view. In a quiet part of the coast away from the crowds. Be prepared for the stairs as it is a full work out to get anywhere. Plenty of good options to eat nearby but we also had fun visiting 'nearby' markets to buy food to cook. Sitting on the veranda at sunset with your loved ones is why you book this place.

We stayed at this villa with 2 other couples. We are all 65-70 and in fairly good shape so we were able to manage the stairs. Believe me the climb is worth it! The villa was exactly as pictured but the view is even more spectacular in real life. It is amazing at all times of day but waking up to this panoramic view each day was just breathtaking. You can take a water taxi anywhere. Highly recommend Il Pirata, right down below for any meal or just drinks. We went a number of times because it was so good! Down the street there are 2 little markets and the 2nd one from the villa is worth going to. The owner will even deliver items to your villa or get them especially for you! If we go back to Amalfi, we will definitely stay here again. I would suggest to owner that they reconfigure the furniture in eating area and move table lengthwise in front of sliders and move small couch along wall facing TV. Then they could add a few small chairs for a larger seating area, The deck is where you will live, but we had one rainy day and there really was no seating area for 6. So many reviews praised the manager, Gerry. Maybe we just hit him on a bad week, but we found him to be rather rude and condescending. We did not use him as a resource at all since he seemed to be annoyed with us when we interacted. I gave this villa a 5 star rating because it was so amazing and we do plan on returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Anelide. The property manager (Mr. Gerry) was there to greet us and was very helpful throughout our stay. The villa has breathtaking views and is steps away from the Marina and the main road. Bus stops and restaurants are nearby. The only caution is that there are a lot of steps…going down is easy, going up, not so much but by the end of the week, we were pros! Wonderful memories made here!! Recommend highly!

A beautiful property away from the congestion that is Positano but still close enough to visit. Perfect spot! We liked this area so much more than the rest of Amalfi. Def recommend!

Beautiful property! We had our 10 month old infant with us and couldn’t have asked for a better property and location! The owners provided a crib and high chair which helped so much! The villa was very clean and had gorgeous views! We loved the terrace! I would highly recommend this villa. Gerry, the local contact for the property was very attentive and helpful! We would love to stay at Villa Anelide again!

We loved our stay in Praiano - a charming smaller town in the middle of the Amalfi coast with easy access to all of the cities you want to visit without the hustle and bustle. We used the Sita bus to visit Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Sorrento during the day and then returned to enjoy the amazing views and local restaurants in Praiano.
The villa itself was lovely. Its charm lies in the amazing patio overlooking the sea (where we spent most of our time) and the location. The villa is about 100 steps down from the main road, and then another 181 steps down to the ocean. There is a beautiful walkway that runs along the ocean providing access to several local restaurants, including Armandino which was our favorite. There is also a quaint little beach and several local vendors providing water taxi and boat rental services. Along the main road is a mini market about 5 min walk away and a larger grocery store about 12 min walk away but uphill to get there.
The furnishings in the villa were functional but not extravagant. The bedrooms and kitchen were clean and included everything we needed. We would recommend upgrades to the glassware (wine glasses), the bath towels and maybe a larger espresso maker. We didn’t use the pool. As mentioned in other posts, there is not really a place to congregate indoors other than the small kitchen table that seats 4. We were lucky that the weather was perfect so spent most of our time enjoying the patio and views outside.

We were a party of three couples, six people total and this Villa exceeded all of our expectations! The location was perfect for us. Quiet, but so close to the marina, several exceptional restaurants and bars. We loved every meal at every restaurant, with a shout out to Miss Georgia who was our server at Priata! The rooms were perfect size, each with our own bathroom, and we did cook at home several nights as well and the kitchen was well equipped. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to a group of six or less. Lots of stairs but good for our walks home after exceptional meals and fantastic wine. Thank you for a perfect holiday!

Perfect location on the Almafi coast!! We loved waking up to the incredible views, sitting on the patios and picking figs, lemons, delicious grapes and limes. We could walk down (many steps) to the beach to swim in the most amazing water so blue !! paradise. When at the beach there were several restaurants to eat at. Wonderful time

The villa is really lovely with all commodities. The terrace has a stunning view on the sea. The little pool is perfect for refreshing after a hot day visiting Capri or Positano. Sea and boats to Capri directly accessible in minutes from the stairs next to the villa. We spent 7 days here with 2 teenagers and a little 6y girl and we all loved the place. I strongly recommend.

The villa was fabulous as was Mr. Gerry - the property manager. The patio is epic and the view is spectacular-

We stayed at Villa Anelide from 14-21st July 2023 after a very hot and busy 4 days in Rome. We were a family of 7 and fitted in comfortably. The Villa was lovely and clean with every amenity catered for including life saving air conditioning in the heatwave at the time. Beautiful outdoor space with abundant and very comfortable furniture and a small pool with amazing views of the bay and beyond.
Walking down into marina Praia we had breakfast a few times and hired a boat with a captain which was wonderful, we stopped along the way on our trip for swimming off the boat and returning for soft drinks and Prosecco. We also had an evening meal in the bay which was great.
We ate at Il Pirata which served excellent tasty food, wine and cocktails, it was lovely to eat next to the water in beautiful surroundings.
Just a short walk up the steep steps and you have a few shops to get supplies from, we recommend Bob’s for friendly service, they will also deliver to the top of the stair entrance if needed. You can walk up into the town for more shops and places to eat, but there is also a local bus which is cheap and easy.
We all had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful Villa and surrounding area and would definitely recommend and if you’re reasonably fit the stairs to and from the Villa will not be a problem.

Everything about our stay was magical. We stayed for 7 nights as a family of six (four children from 5-16yrs) and the property is absolutely perfect. It’s is a relatively easy walk down to Marina Di Praia and everything was very easily accessible. Gerry was fantastic and made check in/out easy plus gave great tips for the area. The house itself is gorgeous with plenty of room inside and a stunning outdoor balcony/entertainment area. We will definitely be back! Perfection!!

Our Vrbo stay in Praiano was simply incredible. The house boasted a massive deck with spectacular views, a refreshing pool, and a separate terrace adorned with lemon trees. The convenient location near the main road and beach made exploration easy, and we were delighted by the spacious, clean, and neat rooms. Highly recommended for an unforgettable getaway.

On arrival the property was very clean and tidy. The check in and check out process was easy and Mr Gerry was very friendly and accommodating. The Villa is lovely especially the terrace and the views are incredible the photos don’t do it justice. Praiano is a lovely place to stay with many great restaurants. We would highly recommend staying at this villa.

The up-side~~This villa was very beautiful, the views exceptional, the interior -beautiful as pictured and the outside lovely. When you get down to the walkway on the sea there are several little restaurants which was very nice to have there! We loved that there was a delivery service for groceries-Stefano- which was great! The kitchen is fully stocked although some space for guest groceries would be helpful. Some things to also know about staying here~~There is a lot of very nice outside seating but very limited seating inside (one small loveseat) which was tough for our party of 6 since it rained so much. This place is wonderful for adults and children older than 8-10, but not so much for babies and toddlers. So- to access the Villa you need to be in very good health! There are about 80 steps down to the Villa and 130 steps down to the sea. Pack REALLY light!! Or, make sure to pre-request help for taking your bags (10 Euros/bag) down to the Villa. If coming by car, the parking is off site at a garage that you need to walk down & over to. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get your car. The cost is 40 Euros/day per car. We also had misinformation between the Luxury Italian Villas Co. and Gerry, the house manager, over what we owed on arrival. Even though we showed him our contract with what we had, he was not very friendly about it and we just paid the amount to avoid further argument. Note—Make sure to know ahead of time what amount of cash you need on arrival from Gerry NOT the booking agency! Overall, we had a nice 4 days of exploring the Amalfi coast and enjoyed staying at the villa.

We came to celebrate my wife’s 50th with our sons, family and friends. The house is located in an amazing location in the town of Praiano. The house is gorgeous, super clean and has everything you need. It’s our first time in Praiano and the host Mr. Jerry was very helpful. Mr. Jerry was quick to answer and help with all our needs. He connected me with a cook who cooked an amazing seafood dinner, he also set up a cake from the local bakery and organized transportation every time we did a tour.
The house and Mr. Jerry get an A+ … 150% great experience. Highly recommend !!

Location was fabulous,
Accommodations beautiful with the most amazing outdoor area you could wish for!
This venue has everything you need!
Taxi’s a little pricey to Amalfi and Positano ( there is a bus) but the people and shops/restaurants in Priano are the best!
The water and the beach area were great, go kayaking!!!!
This Canadian group loved this place and truly hope to go back❤️

You could spend 3x more (like the Villa directly behind/up the hill) but why?
Villa Anelide was perfect.
3 large spacious BR's w/ensuite baths. Splendid views from the large terrace with a pool. We would return here (and recommend) without hesitation.
Jerry (local manager) was courteous and responsive whenever needed.
For those deciding where to stay - Praiano offers a relaxed alternative to Positano while still offering easy access to Positano and Amalfi/Ravello.
There are plenty of dining options both elegant (Hotel Onda Verde) and casual (next to the town marina/dock) - within a short walk (100' steps down) from the Villa.
We hired a boat to Capri for the day and it picked us up right down the hill at the marina.
Great property.

Words can describe the beauty of the villa. My family stayed only 3 nights but wish it could have been longer. My Gerry was very responsive and even got groceries delivered before we checked in. The villa terrace was gorgeous with incredible views and the pool was refreshing on a hot summer day. Can’t wait to book again but stay much longer

Wonderful property & location
This is a wonderful property and we would not hesitate to stay again. My only complaint is we only stayed 5 days! The view is amazing and location is really nice. You can walk down to the sea for a dip or use the beach. Down those steps you can also go to Il Pirata or the 3 restaurants at Marina di Praia. We also took a water taxi from there to One Fire Beach club right at Marina di Praia, and rented a boat from Laboa to see the Amalfi Coast. Mr Jerry was helpful in getting us a ride to a rest for dinner. He also arranged for a taxi for us another night. Prior to arrival I sent him a list of groceries and he handled that for us as well. There are a lot of steps up to the street and down to the water, so make sure to arrange a porter in advance to carry them for you. We were very happy to stay in Praiano, we went into Amalfi and Portofino and they were insanely crowded.
The home is very well equipped. There were TV's & hair dryers in every room, and an iron/steamer. They provided a few things of dish and laundry soap to get you started. We did not have a car which was fine for the location.
We made the right choice staying here.

Gorgeous Stay in Paradise
This villa is just amazing! The views, the decor and the pool all make for an amazing stay. You escape the hussle and Bussle of Amalfi and Postiono. In saying this you don’t have the greatest access to restaurants and shopping then if you stayed in these hotspots (the bus is very cheap and easy to get here)
Don’t recommend bringing a car, it’s 40 euro per day per car, which I understand is normal prices for Amalfi but when you can’t access the car when you want ( you have to pre organise with garage owner) and is located down the road it’s very inconvenient and feel was not fair to pay this much.
The host is lovely; but has very limited English which was challenging at both check in and check out.

Perfect with. breathtaking views!
Our stay was perfect! We were a group of 7 moms and daughters. Everything was just what we wanted it to be! From checkin to checkout Mr. Gerry could not have been more accommodating! If you are looking for 5 star all the way you will definitely get it here!! We are already talking about returning!

Perfect Villa
This was the most amazing villa for so many reasons. Great location, jaw dropping views, and Mr Gerry was the perfect host. The highlight of the home however would have to be a patio area that can’t be rivaled on the Amalfi Coast. I highly recommend this Villa!

Beautiful villa, ideal location
We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. It is perfect for families. Ideal location with restaurants, grocery/market, and activities nearby. Well equipped kitchen and property with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The patio was gorgeous with wonderful views, a small pool, and lemon trees that are perfect for fresh lemonade. The host was very helpful and accessible when needed. Detailed instructions were given for caring for the property and enjoying our stay.
