O pessoal simpático e prestável, a localização excelente.

O hotel sem dúvida prima pela qualidade mas, não haja dúvida, a simpatia e profissionalismo do staff não ficam nada atrás. Pequeno-almoço, com os melhores ovos cozidos que já comi. Conforto do quarto impressionante, a destacar a quantidade e qualidade das almofadas. Jacuzzi pecaminoso. Ótimo para uma escapadinha romântica.

A ser picuinhas a piscina interior poderia estar mais quente. Mas não era desagradável, simplesmente contrasta com a temperatura do jacuzzi.

The hotel and the area it is located in is truly magnificient: The Minho region with it's many rivers and streams is lush and green all year round and this is the perfect base to start exploring from. The room was spacious and exceedingly comfortable, the staff were very attentive and the breakfast was plentiful. The only thing missing was some shaded parking, but it is free and readily available, so that is not a complaint.

The hotel is let down only by it's food quality and availbility, which detracts from this being a perfect 10. Many of the dishes we wanted to order were not available and those that were, were sometimes of poor quality, like an almost inedible duck breast or packet chips as a side.

Bed and pillows were super confortable and the breakfast was very high quality

Outside pool was akwardly small and covered with a kind of capsule that cut half of it and some amenities like the sauna and gym were not working The room did not feel like a 5* hotel as well

Wonderful stay at a Portuguese “Solar”

Solar do Requeijo is an extremely comfortable . Very well located , close to the river and the centre of Arcos de Valdevez you can literally walk to the centre . All staff are very friendly and helpful Hugo at the reception was a pleasure to deal with. A place to repeat. Thanks again.

All the hotel experience was great: from professional staff, to cleaning standards, to confortable bed and calm and relax atmosphere. Breakfast was also great!

Restaurant was not up to the standard. It looks to be on the gastronomic side but dishes were mostly flat in flavour. Pricey for what is offered. Gym was closed for repairs but this information was not disclosed during the booking.

Very nice SPA. Amazingly helpful staff!

Amazing service during dinner, food a bit less so. Breakfast options a bit lacking. Very poor coffee, served in unnecessary large cups. This should definitely be fixed. Don't let small things ruin otherwise great experience.

The place is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredible polite and helpful! The food is fabulous! We enjoyed everything, every moment. Definitely, a place to visit again.

It’s a beautiful and confortable property; super friendly stuff, very nice and confie beds and great breakfast;

The only thing I didn’t like was that one of the walls of the room is made of glass (opaque) so and in spite of the thick curtain you can see the light from the corridor when on.

A really nice Five Stars Hotel located inside an Ancient Aristrocratic Palace.

A really nice Five Stars Hotel located inside an ancient aristrocratic mansion. A perfetc example of a great combination of old and new, past and future. Wonderfull decoration, very good swiming pool. The garden is very weel designed, everything is five stars. The staff is very nice and speak so many languages, amazing. Location is also very good, near the river, with the view to the 2 churches and walking distance too the center.

The staff is 10! Especially sr EDI, at reception. He is a kind person who has given us all the information needed with kindness and courtesy. The room is very comfortable and the hotel is beautiful

The expensive prices at the bar and the checkin timming (checkin at 4pm; checkout at 12pm) (although they allow us to stay at the hotel before 4pm)

Definitely the place to stay during our travel in the northern area of Portugual.

From your arrival till your departure, you feel welcome and cherished. The cuisine is devine, each menu item is a fine art of cuisine. Thank you to the chef!!! The cocktail invented by the hotel barkeeper based on orange juice, Campari, honey, and more ingredients which are not to be mentioned , is unique and a must to be tasted. The location allows to visit the natural park which is a 30 minutes drive. The room was perfect, comfortable and very clean. All the staff is so friendly and forthcoming, a real pleasure to be guest.
