Did not accommodate handicap.

It was Dailey quiet and extremely clean! We really enjoyed our stay there!

The only thing I came across, as an older guy with stability issues already, there needs to be a mat in the bottom of the tub/shower. It is extremely slick. Could have been a bad thing when I went to step in/out. Access to the stairs could be better. Stairs are not a good thing for me but do-able. No mention in the description that it was 2nd floor, at the opposite end of the stairs. Price was fair, but a better description of what you have to do to get to the room would be nice...

This was a great place to stay right on the edge of town. It’s pet friendly so we could take our puppy with us. The owner was on the grounds and was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had 2 queen beds and they were comfortable. The room was a good size. We would stay here again.

Absolutely great! Ver accommodating for me and my pup! Thank you!

We ended up up finding a completely different place to stay. This olace was not clean. There were spider webs over the entrance door. The room smelled horrible. Massive air fresheners were being used to cover up the stench. So much so that you could not breathe because of the overpowering flowery over dog poop smell. The carpet was totally worn and the floor into the bathroom was sagging when you stepped into the room. This was an upstairs unit which is fine. However worn out tread and carpet make it extremely unsafe for people going up and down with luggage. I was horrified at the condition and shocked. The host seemed to be very nice. The unit also had no AC which would have been fine there was a fan I saw after I asked about the AC. But just no way on the lack of cleanliness. We had to search frantically to find another location.

Cute facility with rustic decor. Atmosphere and hosts very welcoming. Rooms nicely decorated. Lots of hummingbirds outside your window. Great for families. Outdoor grill and seating area available. Short drive to town. Lots of hiking available.

Wife loved the hummingbirds coming to the feeders!
(Fyi, Rufous and Broad-tailed hummingbirds!)

Loved the rustic nature of this room, the log cabin motif. Very well cared for and everything available that we wanted except the only option for air conditioning in the summer heat was open windows, box fan and ceiling fan. But overall, we are very happy with our stay.

It was too small

Enjoyed the quiet comfort.

Sometimes you just get an incredibly good vibe from a place. This is that way. The sheets are so soft and the mattress is so comfy, it was quiet at night, the manager texts you all the things you need to know. It isn’t fancy of course; the town is rustic and the lodge fits in. I’d stay again for sure.

Nice and rustic, location was a bit of a surprise since it was a short drive to the main area of town

Very worn down place. No staff - code checkin only. No tub and shower was VERY small. No cable. Was okay for one night but I will not choose it again. Bedding and bath were clean, but furniture and carpet were not.

Adorable room. Small but clean, comfortable and had most everything I needed. Great value for the price. I will come back.

This is a quaint "cabin-like" 2-story lodge located on the eastern edge of Red River. It was too far to walk to town, but that wasn't a problem because parking is free and accessible everywhere in town. The room and bathroom were very small, but clean and well-stocked. The contactless entry system worked well. We received a check-in code to access the room, and we felt safe. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The stairs and walkways needed sweeping, and the entire property could use some updating. But, overall, for the price, and the fact that we only stayed one night, it worked just fine for us.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are not anything fancy but were clean and comfortable. Coffee maker, microwave, dorm room size refrigerator with small freezer.

Very clean, owner was very friendly. Was greeted when we showed up. Room was nice and clean. Just down the road from town.

Room was small and rustic but full of charm and attention was paid to details and comfort.

I put in the correct date and it automatically changed it to an available date. Thinking that I had the correct date, we tried to stay there the correct night. I tried to call the number on the website, but it did not work. We tried knocking on the office door and no one was there. Finally the day of the night that I had accidentally booked, I talked to the manager. He said that there was no way he could refund my money, but he would give me a free night's stay at a later date.

This property is at the end of town, and we enjoyed the walk to town. If you have any type of handicap, be sure and ask for the bottom floor. The owners are available and prompt to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Mountainview was a wonderful place to stay. We loved the fact that they are dog friendly as we were traveling with our pup. The room was spacious and had a full size fridge, microwave, stove/oven, and even a Keurig. All the kitchen utensils you need were provided too. The bed was very comfortable. The lodge is located on the far end of town which made it nice and quiet but still close enough to town if you want to walk it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

The tv in room did not work

Room had no AC. Mornings were pleasantly cool, but afternoons and early evening were warm. Hosts provided 2 fans for our use which made things manageable. A beautiful aspen tree outside our window. I neglected to notice this facility was pet-friendly, so I had some allergy issues. My fault for not being attentive.

Enjoyed our stay! The people who own the property are extremely nice and helpful. Easy to walk into town but away from the husssle. Best place to watch the sunset

Exceeded my expectations for a small town lodge. Good room, the area is beautiful. Staff is top notch, friendly, checking in and out as easy as can be with no need to stand in line or wait on staff.

Overall this property was a good value for the price. It was clean and the facilities were okay.

Old, fairly clean, no office so no one to ask questions.
Also, they charge a $35 fee for pets we were not aware of beforehand, and were asked by a note in a basket to leave the cash in an envelope in the room.

Very affordable
