Beautiful, quiet Hideaway. Spacious, comfortable & exceptionally clean. Well equipped & completely relaxing in a wonderful location
4.3
Great quiet location but it is on a steep hill, it does include parking space. Easy key collection from lock box. Good communication with the owner. Nice comfy beds, lovely big sofa & dining table. Bathroom & kitchen on the small side but everything you'd expect. Tastefully decorated.
Cleaning products, hand wash, bin bags, cotton wool/buds, towels etc provided.
House close to the train station, high street & Tescos!
It is very handy to visit some amazing places nearby like skipton, Malcam cove, Inglebrough, York is about an hour away.
The house has a bit of a damp smell. Just a few bits of house keeping needed addressing but the owner was informed and comments were taken on board but it did not spoil our stay.
No welcome/snack pack provided or netflix, as implied by photos & info.
The only way to reach the table & chair in the small courtyard is by climbing out the bedroom window! Which i couldn't manage myself and a bit of a strange set up!
Also the bath has very high sides, I am 5ft 2" & with some mobility issues, so i did find it tricky to get in, so worth thinking about if you are elderly or have slight mobility issues.
But a great place to stay and would recommend

A great stay in this lovely little flat. We loved the location just 10 minutes walk from access to the Moor and a 10 minute walk to shops restaurants pubs and bars. The house was equipped with all the basics needed for a short break. Exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Access on arrival was excellent communication from booking.com right up to the day before our stay was very clear.
. I dont think the location of the flat would suit everyone because the walk from the town is all uphill and might be challenging.

The location, access to the key in a key box is easy so your not waiting to meet someone to get the key if there any delays. Lovely touch with cereals, milk and snacks on arrival great for kids after travelling...
We did ask for another key with the contact given but no 2nd key was given. The gas log fire in the living room did not work, we did inform the contact about this too. It would have been nice for this to have been working so it was a shame.

The location was great, it was clean and largely comfortable
The corporate sanctioning approach of use of facilities and threat of further charges if using facilities despite lifting £250 as a damage deposit for a Two night stay, for the avoidance of doubt we did not use the barbeque, struggled with the fire and washed all our dishes as we would normally do. There was no carbon monoxide detector installed noted and no logged evidence of small appliance safety checks. No tablemats we could find to dine in.We have travelled worldwide, but found this companies approach by far the most onerous e.g demanding copies of all my families, children passports. We are Scottish, and still part of the UK.

The apartment is clean, well presented, tastefully decorated and nicely situated. My children loved that there was a little basket there with a few different, new cereals for them to try! I loved the comfy bed!

we loved the location (easy walk from train station and town ) and the decor and the furnishings - it was super clean and well equipped. communication was fast and efficient when we needed it.
we could have used some instructions in the accom for things like how to light the Bluetooth fire etc but other than that everything was just great

Beautiful property in quiet location.
