Freshly remodeled duplex on historic Austin Ave. Close to Magnolia, Downtown Waco, Cottonland Castle & Baylor University.

The house was built after the 1953 tornado. Before completion the house was elegantly re-designed and finished by Abner McCall for his mother and her guest or caregivers.
It took us 2 years to remodel the property. My mother lives in one side and now we offering the guest side for Waco visitors. The property has a large fenced in backyard and a common courtyard (great outdoor space) that is great for hanging out. Easily sleeps 2 couples. Queen bed in one room and KIng in the other. Remodeled kitchen with new modern appliances. All of the furniture is new. The furniture is from a famous Dallas department store. The furniture was used as samples for photo shoots to feature in catalogs and their website (fyi our main job is in furniture wholesale). Cable Televisions in both bedrooms and living room. Wireless internet. Plenty of parking, located on a large corner lot.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. It was simply beautiful and Such a quiet Place. Everything, and I mean everything was clean from top to bottom. I contacted him because we came into town earlier than expected and that was fine with him. We had a bottle of wine there for us when we arrived. Where do I start. When you drive up you can see the courtyard from the driveway. And the grounds are neat and manicured. There is plenty of seating for all in that courtyard. When you walk in from the back there is a hallway foyer. The Kitchen is next. When I tell you everything you need is right there in that lovely kitchen. The fridge made me feel right at home, because there was plenty of room. The dinning table seated all of us. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were full of thick hotel grade towels. The shower that we had has a rain shower in it and felt so good before bed time. The funiture in that house is so beautiful. Trust me it is not cheap by any means. We were so very pleased with our stay and we plan on returning again. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We rate this 1000+

The place was very cute, remodeled and perfect for a quick getaway to see the Silos and more in Waco! Definitely would recommend if you like relaxing after a day of sightseeing etc. Couches were comfy, rooms / bathrooms were super nice and we loved the kitchen. The only thing we wish is that it was cooler outside so we could enjoy sitting on the patio / fire place. :) Would highly recommend!

The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated, a designer's dream. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everyday items and condiments in the fridge. The bedding was so comfortable I ordered the sheets during my stay. The location is perfect for all of Waco's must see stops. Ms. Sunny, next door was a gem to visit with. We loved the beautifully landscaped courtyard in the evenings.

The stay was wonderful! Comfortable and anything we needed was there. May have been the most comfortable sheets and bed I have slept on in a VRBO. Plan to stay there if I have future Waco trips.

Family of 3 visiting Waco for BU orientation & Line camp. Very lovely 2bedroom flat in lovely historic district which was adequate for our family. Kitchen was nicely done - well lit. Love the kitchen island that we could eat at. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and even some common food items. Thankful for the snacks & wine that the host provided. The bedroom were as listed. The larger contained a king size and the smaller contained a queen/double. The smaller bedroom had adjoining bathroom with a lovely shower and double sinks. The larger does not have an adjoining bathroom. But there is a hallway full bathroom with a single sink. The shower was lovely and water pressure was nice. Despite the bathroom/bedroom switcharoo - home was lovely and very cozy.

I am constantly renting houses in Waco for visiting artists who teach at my store. This is one of my all time favorites- safe neighborhood, close to downtown but not in the rental village, beautifully furnished and comfortable, lovely courtyard. It’s a 10.

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! The house, location, floor plan, furniture, appliances, bedding, lighting, the art, the flooring, rugs, etc. The kitchen was so well stocked a gourmet cook would be impressed. Is rained off and on so sadly, we were not able to take advantage of the lovely outdoor spaces. It’s impossible to exaggerate the description on this VRBO. Thank you, Bill.

This house is the perfect place to stay in Waco. It is tucked in a beautiful neighborhood with close proximity to downtown Waco and Baylor. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the bonus of off street parking and a beautiful private patio. Communication with the owner was great too. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Perfect location for Waco Weekend! Home was located in beautiful historical district and so close to all things Magnolia. House was immaculate and furnishings were absolutely gorgeous. FANTASTIC experience! My health-required zero-salt diet means I must cook everywhere I travel. This kitchen was WONDERFUL to cook in. Property had everything we needed and is positively beautiful. The location was ideal for ease of navigation all over Waco. We stay at Vrbo’s all over US & Europe and this is the best place we have stayed. Impeccably clean. Most comfortable bed anywhere. Owner has beautiful taste in decor and excellent taste in wine (free bottle in frig). Could not have been happier with our stay. We were in town for a family member’s surgery and this was a perfect peaceful place for their recovery. During recovery they were able to have friends over and sit on the lovely patio. Also had a friend or two stop by for dinner to keep them company. All the friends who visited commented on how beautiful the place was. Again, we could not have been happier with our stay.

My wife and I enjoyed this perfect guest house in Waco for a few days this spring. The location is perfect - 5 min drive to nearly everything. The furnishings and decor are beautiful. Working with Bill (the owner) was awesome and his mother (next door) is very sweet. I highly recommend this property!!

This property is a GEM!! Loved everything about it. Hope it is available the next time we come to Waco. We have a home on a canal in Cocoa Beach that we rent to others, and this property gives us goals. We didn't use the kitchen, but the little extras everywhere made an impact (face wipes in the bathroom, a bottle of wine even though we didn't drink it, all necessary laundry items and more). Plus the furnishings were amazing.

This property is incredible! The location is fabulous as it is in a great neighborhood and within walking distance to the “Castle” flip if you are a Fixer Upper fan. Short drive to the Silos and downtown Waco. Furnishings are gorgeous and comfy. Great linens, stocked with coffee, and sweetest touches abound. Clean and inviting. Whenever I travel to Waco, I will stay at this location. Just fabulous!

This home is absolutely gorgeous and completely updated. Smart use of space and the finishes and furnishings made it feel so luxurious. Perfectly clean too! This is about 5-7 mins from the Silos and pretty much central to everything in town.

This was one of the best/cleanest places we have stayed. We have never been to a place that seems to have thought about everything from a stocked kitchen, super soft towels, great smelling hand soap and even a cord extension since the outlet was a bit far from the bed. Would recommend this place for sure.

Communication with the owner was fantastic! The location is close to everything you could possibly want; Baylor, Magnoila, grocery stores, etc. The house does not disappoint!!! Clean, smells wonderful, beds comfortable, stocked with things you might need while cooking. We will definitely stay here again unless y’all book it first!
