Eleven of us stayed in the home. It was roomy and we were able to stretch out and enjoy. The instant water heater ensured we all had nice hot showers. Be sure to walk across street to enjoy the creek side swing. We were lucky enough to see three elk in the yard early in the morning. You might want to take ziplock bags, aluminum foil, etc if you plan on using the kitchen.

My family enjoyed our stay. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

Took our kids to the mountains. Such a wonderful time. This house had everything we were looking for in a big comfy home. The mountain views were amazing and we saw elk in the aide yard as well. Plenty of room for 8. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Really enjoyed the stay in Maggie Valley, and you are indeed right in the thick of Maggie Valley. Great proximity to downtown Waynesville and Asheville. Fireplaces in almost every room made each room rather cozy. Pool table and bar are a great addition, and the deck was where we spent most of our time hanging out. Everything was tidy and in good shape. We'd be happy to have another vacation there in the future.

House was far from clean. Hair in bathtub and general lack of attention to detail. House smells old and needs some TLC. Beautiful views from porches, but house not represented well in pics.

Annual getaway, 3 oldest Moms are in there 80’s and it was nice to find a home with no stairs they had to worry about climbing.

We had a great time at the Campbell retreat. There was a small issue with a bathroom drain and the AC while we were there but the property manager was great and had the issues taken care of quickly.
4.6
The property was outdated. The outside trash cans were too small to handle party of 12. The house is laid out strangly, with add-ons. The family room and pool room was awesome but furniture was outdated too. Some of the kitchen cabinets were broken and shower head was too high in MB bathroom. The dishwasher was outdated but did work. The griddle had broken temperature control so could not use. As I said, it was in a great location and we did have a great time with family.

Great location! Perfect for our group of 13. Saw elk just about every night. Loved the hot tub. Convenient to Lake Junaluska, where we spent the week in workshops, and to local attractions. Clean. Comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect and felt very home like. The accessibility was excellent for our purpose. Everyyhing was much better than expected.

This place was dirty when we got there. The mattresses were horrible and there were drafts everywhere. We got very little sleep our first night there. Also the house has been surrounded by subdivisions and other houses which took away from the "cabin in the mountains" feel. Definitely not worth the price. Sorry.
On the good side the new hot tub was awesome so that helped me with the back problems created by the mattresses. The home really just needs updating, a better turnover crew, new mattresses, and it needs to be sealed up properly (doors/windows). The price should not be so high considering the conditions and surroundings.

Several family members and friends gathered to remember a mom/grandma (TuTu/sister/friend. Great place to gather and talk, remember, play games. Walking distance to downtown and even to Glenwood Hot Springs. Very well stocked and accommodations were comfortable. We would return and we would recommend this property.

We had the best time. Location of cabin was perfect and within driving distance of everything, very comfortable and cozy cabin. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.
4.6
We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. I was happy that the house is on flat ground making it a lot easier to navigate with snow and ice. It's in close proximity for all of your downtown needs and the ski resort is just up the hill. There was plenty of room for the 11 we had in our party and it never seemed over crowded. Plenty of utensils, pots, pans etc. if you like to save money and cook as we do. Unfortunately, the pancake griddles temperature probe was missing the temperature regulating knob. Everyone really enjoyed the game room. The mattresses could use updating they were too firm for my taste. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the hot tub to work. We were happy to see several elk that walked right through the yard upon our arrival. I would recommend this for a large group.

The house is as listed. It is clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, decorations are great. The house is conveniently located. Great views. Elk at dusk, we all enjoyed seeing a large bull elk out back. Fire pit was a hit each light complete with s’mores. The front porch is great, porch swings and Jacuzzi. Large front yard. Pretty stream by the road with a swing. The house is very roomy. Game room with pool table was perfect for our family of 14 with plenty of room for all. It was the perfect place for our Thanksgiving family get together. The home owner stopped by, that was a nice visit. Just a great long weekend family vacation in a very property.

The house was exactly as listed. It was very clean and the perfect size space for our group of eight adults and one infant. The kitchen was well stocked and the home decorations were outstanding. We also arrived to a treat of mouse cups in the fridge from a local shop. I would definitely recommend this house.
4.6
A few things need attention but overall a good experience. Kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of room for our group of 10 to sit together whether inside or out on the porch or by the fire pit.

Very nice clean place. Convenient location. We met the owner when we arrived. She's a very sweet lady. Will definitely stay again.

4.6
We went up as a group to ride the mountains. This cabin was all we were looking for and in a good location.
4.6
House was better than imagined. We've stayed at many and this one will be our favorite. More roomier than we imagined. We can't say enough how much we loved it. Would have liked an earlier check in but it worked out. Would recommend adding tv's in all bedrooms (we just bought two inexpensive ones). Seriously anyone looking at reviews this house is better than pictured. We did have an Elk walk right across the yard, it was SO AWESOME!!!! I hope yall enjoyed us as vacationers as much as we loved your place!!!

16 of us arrived in Maggie Valley for a late season ski weekend.
The lodge offered adequate beds, entertainment and dining facilities for all. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants and slopes.
Everyone was thrilled by the elk who visited morning and evening.
4.6
it was very comfortable and plenty of room!
4.6
Property was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for our group. The parents enjoyed the parlor for relaxing and the kids got a kick out of the elk who decided to stroll by.
4.6
The house is an older home and when we walked in several of us where brought back with memories of Grandma's home. It was very cozy and the kids loved having their own space. The home was decorated nicely for Christmas. I believe everyone had a good time.
4.6
The house was exactly what we needed for a family weekend with 5 kids and 5 adults for a visit that included the Polar Express in Bryson City. The kids especially liked the game room and hot tub. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas which added to the visit. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of utensils and cookware. Would definitely stay again when in Maggie Valley.
4.6
The home was large and offered all the amenities to facilitate a large group. We had 14 family members for a week and didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The home is not brand new and has a few 'miles on the tires' but it was more than comfortable and offered a lot of character. Located in a convenient location but far enough out of town that we had elk in the field behind the home.........This is definitely a cabin that we will consider again.
4.6
This was a great location. The front porch is so nice and relaxing. It has a nice view of the mountains. The inside was clean with plenty of areas to sit around and enjoy your company.
4.6
House needed upgrade, repairs, and upkeep

Wonderful location. Could walk to many fun things. House was large enough for our group of 12 and comfortable. We really enjoyed the game room and the large front porch. Grandkids played in the creek. Everything was clean and well equipped.

We saw elk almost daily in the yard or in the field behind the house. The pool table provided a lot of fun for the family, The house accommodated 14 of us comfortably.
