This was a very pleasant stay, and the house was very clean. One thing to note is that it would not be accessible for anyone with mobility issues.

We were only here for two nights while wine shopping so didn’t have too much time to enjoy the house and lake. We had a good time though. The steep driveway can be a tough hike up and down. The lake is beautiful and an easy walk down. Would have loved to take out the canoe or paddle board. Great deck with plenty of room and multiple grills.

It was a great time, very clean and outstanding house with a short walk to the beach, that has attractions. The host is super friendly and isn’t hard to reach! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Joey!

The indoor and outdoor spaces were comfortable and inviting. The waterfront was spacious with easy access to the water. To get to the water you must walk down the driveway, cross the road and then go down a shared driveway to the dock. With children aged 6 and 10 I was a little nervous about the road, but traffic is light and the drivers were cautious and considerate and the children followed good road-crossing protocol. A suggestion about the tricky driveway up to the cabin: If you have backup cameras, backing up the driveway is easier than backing down. Once we figured out the best way to negotiate it, the driveway was no problem. For the lower drive to the lake, backing down and driving up worked best. We had a great time!

The cottage is lovely and roomy, situated in the trees with multiple porches from which to admire the lake. Waterfront area is good, with plenty of swim and boating equipment (though a second kayak would be nice). The famous driveway is steep, especially for old knees, but definitely unavoidable, given the perfect setting of overlooking the lake yet with access to it.

We had fantastic time, loved everything about the place (rustic but felt like home) and location, the drive to the house from the street is a bit steep but hey - you either get a bit of a workout walking or get the thrill of driving your car up and down:)

Great House! Lots of fun had!! Even the rainy day didnt keep the boys out of the water and lots of fun playing games provided at the house to pass the time. The drive way is steep but we concoured it several times with no casualties. Thank for a great Adult weekend get away. (If you have bad knees or trouble with hills this is not the house for you)

Clean, and with 7 adults the 2 full bathrooms were perfect. Multiple decks to sit on and eat, birdwatch, or just veg. The cabin is well stocked. Bring your Rokus/Firesticks, the bedrooms that have TVs, they are not "Smart", but the one in the living room is. We rarely watched them.
There are neighbors on each side at the waterfront, but up at the cabin, nothing but nature!
We arrived in the middle of an almost 100F heatwave, so the AC was appreciated the first.few days, as was the proximity to the crystal clear lake...bring water shoes, the bottom is a bit rocky!
Putting kayaks in was simple, and there.is a marina just up the road that will put a bigger boat in for you, for a fee, or there are.public boat launches at Keuka Lake State Park, and in Penn Yan.
The driveway IS steep, as mentioned in other reviews, so not for anyone with any limitations to a climb, but even the 70+ year old members in our group were able to navigate it several times a day without issue.
Penn Yan has all the necessities (even an Aldi!), and there are a multitude of wineries, Cideries, Breweries and even Meaderies in the area, for those who like that!
If you are in the area and want a beautiful hike, we highly recommend Watkins Glen State Park Gorge trail. Amazing!

Lovely property and very clean, which is important to me. They had a TON of towels too. Loved having the kayak and canoe. The host was very responsive and communication was clear and precise. We had no issues whatsoever. The deck was just perfect to sit out on at night to overlook the lake.
I see other reviews mention a steep driveway. I just want to reiterate that they are NOT kidding. That driveway is a beast and if you have mobility issues it’s going to be tough. It’s steep and winds a few times. We just parked at the bottom and walked up and it was fine…it was a great glute workout for sure. Keep this in mind if you’re planning to bring a lot of stuff that’s heavy.
Also - bring bug spray. It’s a wooded lot, very natural setting. The house at the bottom of the Y in the lake so most attractions (wineries and restaurants) were about 20m away. Might be a little further out than you want, depending on what you are planning to do while there.
Worked great for us and was very peaceful and quiet!

The lake is beautiful, the cabin is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped too. I strongly suggest you park in the spots before the driveway - it's very steep and tricky!

We had a wonderful stay, and had everything we needed at the house.

We had a great time at this property! When we arrived the house was SO clean. We found everything we needed inside and loved the outdoor decks. As previous guests stated, if you have a person in your party with mobility issues, the driveway would be almost impossible to use.

Overall, we were happy with this stay. The place was as described, comfortable beds and couches. The stand heater on the porch was a nice touch.

Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was provided. Very nice location. We were doing our annual wine tour. Good times!

It was a very nice place to stay. We really enjoyed the deck and the view.
The only real complaint was access. The driveway is extremely steep. Our ages ranged from 60 to 88. We managed okay, but some with disabilities may not do so well.

Wineries close by. Hikes close by. Fishing at the bottom of second driveway. Area by the deck had great fire pit. If you did not feel like walking down to dock, sitting on the deck with the outside heater was just as relaxing. Wonderful place to come unwind.

A wonderful setting - both inside and out - for a 40th reunion with college friends! Lots of space both inside and out, more than one deck, and has all the amenities inside and out for great meals together. The driveway is steep but we managed!

This was our second time at this property and it never disappoints. The house has many amenities and is the perfect Keuka Lake retreat. Highly recommend if you are interested in being on Keuka Lake!

The house was clean and the owner provided all the necessary info for our stay. Beautiful area and really nice lake. An added bonus was that the driveway offers a great way to burn off those calories.

This was my second time staying at the cabin for a girls' trip, and it was fabulous! The rooms are very spacious, and the well-equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. We loved spending time on the large deck, which provided beautiful views of the surrounding area and was the perfect spot to relax after a long day of lake activity and exploring. One of our favorite features of the rental was the easy lake access, dock & firepit. We enjoyed morning walks around the neighborhood and even met some friendly locals who suggested a few things to do in the area. Joey is a most excellent and accommodating host. The cabin is a great space to spend quality time with friends and family. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and peaceful getaway. :o)

Beautiful lakefront to enjoy hours floating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, grilling, corn hole, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit or just watching the boats go by - so relaxing and peaceful. The house is just as described, plenty of room for 8 adults to sleep and enjoy each others company, cooking, playing games, and deciding on which dvd to watch of the 100+ collection. Closest winery is just a five minute drive and 20 minutes to Penn Yan. The driveway is challenging but no problem for 60 year olds - we went up and down multiple times per day, worked off the wine calories. We highly recommend the property and Joey is an excellent host - great communicator, very attentive.

This house met all of our needs. The house was perfect for two parents and two tweens. The water access was well supported with floats and a fire pit. Gorgeous views. Joey was a wonderful and responsive host. Only challenge was the driveway. We managed okay but it was very steep and would have been a challenge with younger children and elderly. Minor issue for us and it helped us burn the nearly daily ice cream runs to Seneca Farms. Lovely lake get away.

We were four older ladies and this was not for us. Although the driveway does not look steep, thin or curved in the pictures (even the ones I took while there), it was and it was stressful for us. No way could we park at the bottom as suggested by the owner in their welcome letter and walk up or down with our luggage. The cabin was super clean and well appointed except for lighting - very dark with tiny lamps and a chandelier over the dining table that gave off very little light. Twin beds not comfy. Couches very comfy. Lake access is down the driveway and across the street. It was nice once you got down there. Very nice seating on front porch and deck. So if not bothered by a challenging driveway and darkness, the cabin would be great for you. Location is not in Penn Yan but in the inner middle of the Y of Lake Keuka - added travel time whenever you went somewhere. We thought it would be at top of lake when we booked it.

Cabin gave you that old time feel. Sitting area and dinning was spacious you didn't feel on top of each other. The desk was wonderful, two tier and enough sitting for 8 people and 2 lounge chairs. The view was great, nice to sit out in the morning. One big drawback, the driveway is so steep. Going down to the lake is ok, coming back is not fun. You not only have the driveway down, then there is an incline down to the water. But overall was a wonderful time.

The cabin and the waterfront were exactly what we we were looking for in a lake vacation. Check-in was easy and Joey was an excellent host.
The cabin was the perfect size for our group of kids and adults. It was clean, well-stocked with things we may need, and the porch/decks were wonderful.
The waterfront area was excellent as well. We enjoyed the water, grilling, and bonfires daily.
As others noted, the only real drawback was the long, steep driveway up to the cabin from the road. It posed a real challenge to the older members of our party, having to navigate it to get to and from the waterfront area on the other side of the road. We did end up driving part of it each time, but that also had it's challenges given the incline and curves. Overall it did not spoil our time, but it's definitely worth noting.
Thanks again!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. As previous reviews stated driveway is extremely steep and can be difficult for older guests or those not in ideal health. It limited family that could come visit us while in town which was unfortunate.
We did have 3 toddlers with us and had to move several items out of reach to prevent small hands from breaking them, so be cognizant if you have a small child with you.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, house was clean and the porches were lovely to sit on.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin on Keuka Lake! The house is well maintained, and the outdoor space with the deck and front porch was amazing. I wish the weather had been better so that we could have enjoyed all the fun toys they had available for us to use on the lake, but we made the most of our time. Joey was a great host and is quick to respond to any questions. They are correct the driveway is quite steep, but would not be deterrent from renting here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I booked this property a year in advance to give my adult children time to plan and get off work. It was a “come when you can and leave when you need.” We really enjoyed the dock and fre pit. A good time was had by all

Perched on hill overlooking Keuka Lake, we found a great log cabin to spend a long family holiday weekend. A very comfortable space for adults and our little one. Nice set up and we had everything we needed. The views from the deck were beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed walks and all the friendly neighbors. Canoe and kayak rides were fun and putting hands and feet in the early season water was refreshing. Our host was responsive and helpful. We chose to mostly stay at the cabin, but there were lots of fund and interesting things to do in the area..

This was our first time to the Finger Lakes and we really enjoyed it! There were so many activities (wineries, hikes, cute towns, PGA tournament) to do and so little time. We spent most of our days out and about, but enjoyed the evenings at the cabin. There aren't many frills in the cabin which meant we spent time playing games in the evening and winding down with a movie from their DVD collection (though we could have streamed something). The kitchen was well stocked. We were only there for four nights, but if we had been any longer extra paper products (TP) would have been needed. Great views of the lake from the cabin and the dock. Note: the driveway is a bit of a beast-- we got our workouts walking up and down that. Overall, great stay and would recommend.

My family & I stayed for four days over Mothers Day weekend and had a fantastic time! The host, Joey, was one of the most informative and helpful host I’ve ever dealt with while using Vrbo. The house was perfect; clean, spacious, private, great location, everything well stocked & supplied. On my next trip to the Finger Lakes I’d stay here over & over again. The house is only 45 minutes also from Watson Glen which is also a nice bonus! Thank you to Joey for making our trip so enjoyable!

We had a great 2-night stay at this lakefront cabin in early May! Very homey place in a beautiful woodsy setting overlooking Kueka Lake. We enjoyed being on the water in the provided canoe and kayak. Also took advantage of the fire pit by the lake.
The one note of caution I would give before booking is that the driveway to the cabin is quite steep. We had a couple of people in our company with bad knees and climbing up and down to get to the lake took a bit of a toll. We ended up driving the car up and down when it made sense to do so, although that could be challenging if you are not used to driving/backing up steep, narrow roads. Street parking is provided.
Even with the above, we all agreed that we would not hesitate to book the cabin again! We had such a great time sitting on the patio enjoying the view and exploring the surrounding towns/vineyards all within a 20 minute drive. Thank you Joey!

This property was the perfect location for a home base to visit all the wineries, breweries and distilleries. The views from this home was wonderful and we enjoyed them immensely. Only downside was the driveway is a little tricky and steep.

The House was absolutely beautiful, The very steep driveway and very steep access to the lake Proved to be quite difficult. Possibly think about putting that in the description prior to someone renting

Great cabin by the lake to enjoy the beauty with family!
