We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean, well set up, and perfect for our weekend on the lake. The host was wonderful and very accommodating! Looking forward to staying again!

You will love the Lily Pad to stay at because.... #1) You can use 1/0 hooks with worms threaded up the shank, and sink your line to the bottom off the deck with a small weight only. Don't cast. Just wait and enjoy. Bring a net as there are both bullheads and pan fish available.You will catch fish! The kids will love it! #2) The linens and beds are luxurious, the kitchen is stuff with helpful things, and the TV line up is fantastic. #3) The air conditioning is the best we've ever had at any VRBO, and we were totally amazed how cool the house stayed while it was stifling hot outside (crazy cool). #4) The homeowner is extremely attentive and answers questions/needs instantly. #5) My very disabled husband of 92 years was totally able to enjoy every aspect of the place. He had a blast! Wish I could post pics of his fish! Try to make a game of figuring out the different ages of the home. The original house was built in the early 1900's I believe, but an awesome addition, including a screened barbecue porch (so handy) was added later. We had a great time thinking about the architecture. Parking was fantastic. The view was gorgeous. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy the lake soon Take good care of this beautiful home! We'll be back!

We had a phenomenal stay at The Lily Pad. I only wish we could have stayed more days. The kitchen is well stocked. The property was clean. The pier was incredible. Watching the sun rise across the lake was breath taking every morning. If the fish aren't biting, there's plenty games for you to enjoy, or movies to watch. We brought the corn hole boards and tossed some bags beneath the deck. There was plenty room. I can't express how pleased we were with our stay. The host was very nice and answered all messages promptly. We hope to stay again soon.

We stayed for a week and had the best time! Watching the sunrise and set from the dock. We didn’t catch very many fish with the lake water level being lower but regardless the lily pad was amazing and accommodating. Plenty of room and all the amenities you would need!

I enjoyed my stay, however the host doesn't communicate on/through the app as expected. And a few things were displeasing. Checkin-Information was not adequate, the code for entrance into the house didn't work. I messaged the host and did not get a response. I called and there was no response. I called from a different number and finally got the host who almost yelled that the code CHANGED. The most important fact that the renter should know. Ammenities-In the kitchen was an index card on the counter that said,"the Wifi isn't working", the gas grill didn't work and the lower part of the refrigerator/freezer tray could not be pulled out because it was frozen stuck with thick ice and water was on the kitchen floor from the leaking. There was no deep fryer or large quart pot or iron skillet..in case one wanted to fry fish since the grill didn't work. Cleaning- The screened porch had thousands of dead bugs on the table and floor. The living room had bugs on the tables, the windows had thick cobwebs and the vent was black with dust. The back porch had gazillions of webs, spiders and bugs from top to bottom. The cleaner gave detail to cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and beds. But omitted the windows. I opened the blinds and discovered more webs, dust and bugs including flies. My son cleaned up the bugs in the screened porch, vacuumed the windows in the living room, mopped up the water on the kitchen floor and attempted to blow with leaf blower and sprayed the back porch.

Thus experience was tranquil. I really needed tranquil this weekend as I was home to lay my sister to rest. It really helped to awaken every morning to the sun rising and glistening over the lake. Thank you so much for sharing your home with my family and I. We will return and hope to have this experience again, prayerfully on a more joyful occasion.

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights. We only used half of the house so that lets you how big it is. I grew up in Lake Providence but we did not live on the lake so being able to stay on the lake was a treat for me. My daughter even told me to cancel our plane tickets because the house felt like home! It’s a wonderful house and we plan to stay again.

The house was beautiful. It was very dusty. Needs a good cleaning. Lady bugs were every where: on the ceilings, on the table where we ate, lady bugs falling in our drinks. The door knob fell off but the manager did come out to fix it. The bar fell off the screen door in the front. The couch was outdated; when you sit down, you were almost on the floor. It just need to be update furniture and a deep cleaning. It was enough rooms and space and the location was very easy to find.

We visited this establishment for a funeral and needed somewhere for our family to stay. Although, we would have wanted to be there under better circumstances, our stay was just what was needed. We connected with family over food, beautiful scenery, and love. This location is definitely a hit.

The property looked just as advertised. Julie was very kind and quick to respond to any questions. The view of the lake from the house and deck was BEAUTIFUL! We went to Oak Grove, a town only a few minutes away to eat, shop at Walmart and see a movie! Oak Grove's movie theater has been in operation since 1928! It was a fun experience. If you go, arrive really early like we did because there is only 1 movie screen and limited parking in close proximity. We love to fish and caught several catfish, a blue gill and a couple of drums. The fishing could have been better. But no matter where you go to fish, you will have great days and not so great days. It is right off the highway, which really wasn't any bother to us. You didn't notice the traffic at all from inside. I did notice it outside, but it wasn't a big deal. Julie had the air conditioning set perfectly for when we arrived and it was quite comfortable. It was a charming house to just kick back and relax in. We enjoyed this much needed get away from everyday life. Thank you Julie for being such a gracious host and opening up your home to us!

This property is right on the lake with both a dock & boat lift available. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The house rules are very reasonable. We had 2 issues: little flying bugs, (the owner provided bug spray to use inside the house). They swarmed inside when we opened the door in the evenings to go in & out. The WiFi speed was inadequate with frequent drops. We had to resort to using our phones for connecting to the internet for our daily zoom meetings & web browsing Even with these issues we enjoyed our stay & would consider renting again.

My husband and I decided to travel throughout the Mississippi River area enjoying looking back at history and my husband's love of farming. We found the house to be central to everything that we were wanting to visit. The house was easy to find and Julie was a great host. The house is setup perfect for a couple of families with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Large kitchen and a living room with a great view of the lake. There are three separate outdoor spaces to enjoy. We spent our time on the main porch off of the living room watching birds and turtles. The lake is gorgeous to look at and we could see that fishing or boating would make this house perfect for the sportsman.
